Me and 3 other friends were staying there for for 5 nights, we took the 2 bedrooms service apartment. No doubt the facilities provided in the apartment are comprehensive and comfortable, somehow the housekeeping provides very lousy service. They forgot to throw rubbish for us 2 out of the 5 nights stay, and our rooms are very very dusty, bathrooms were […] not vaccum. They do not help us to clean the kitchen utensils. 3 out of 5 nights we were not provided with bath wash, shampoo etc. Staff in charge in counter are not friendly and not helpful, especially dealing with Asian guest, we have the feeling of being 'look down' and double standard in their service. "Very good option for city fringe and over lake"
pleasant 30 minute walk round the lake to Queenstown central. Got a good rate for 3 nights so serviced apartments were a good option. Had all we needed and bonus view over lake. Parking is free; gym free; wifi was paid. Bus stop outside for short hop into town or to airport (about 3km each way).

We felt that the apartment had not been used for a while and the floors needed a vacume and damp dust of furniture, benchs etc to reduce the house-mite and freshen up the Unit. When i arrived there was a sign saying DELIOUS VIEWS, found my room, and looked out the window to a brick wall , asked to be moved , the reply was no.. Overall was nice and clean but a bit to far out of qtown

We spent three nights at the Oaks Shore in a 1 bedroom apartment with lake views and we enjoyed our stay. The Oaks Shore is perfect if you have a car as it provides under-cover parking and is conveniently located just 5 miutes drive from the centre of Queenstown.

"Amazing Views"
This is our first visit in Queenstown & I have to say this is a great choice for my husband & I. We stayed 2 nights in an one bedroom apartment & it was luxuriously appointed, very spacious with beautiful scenic lake views. I loved the full kitchen facilities,& it feels so much like home. The only downside was our dishwasher was not working and they […] it was not fix befoe we checked out. They don't seem to supply dish washing liquid in the room to wash by hand. I had to call reception to request some and we were asked to pick up from reception & they don't deliever to your room. Overall, we enjoyed our stay at Oakes Shores & we will defintly stay here again next time we are in Queenstown. Lesa meira
"A great view - but you need a car!"
Wonderful view and facilities, and good for the price. 2nd bedroom a bit dark as the unit only as one set of windows, but still great windows. Would recommend and stay again. May need a lick of paint soon.
"Oaks Shores Queenstown - spacious and great views"
When we first walked into our apartment we were delighted, it was huge - massive lounge and dining area and kitchen with all mod cons. Big bi-fold doors open up to the most amazing view of The Remarkables. Just breathtaking. The bedroom wasnt the biggest but the bed was very comfortable and everything was clean. The bathroom isn't big either, the shower […] is over the bath and there's a small vanity but it's spotlessly clean. The whole apartment was. There was also a washer and dryer which came in handy after 10 days of travel. It's not central to town but we had a car so that didn't bother us. The walking/bike track out the front takes to straight into town should you wish to use it. But the views... the views are fantastic, no matter which way you look. I would definately stay here again. Our room was comfortable and well appointed with tea/coffee making, fridge, toaster, crockery and cutlery. The only washing-up facility was in the bathroom basin. The room design meant that although we were on a side wall, we still had excellent views of the lake and surrounds. The hotel is quiet, even though it is on a very busy road. The room was […] serviced every day, even when we did not go out until noon. There was a lot of light leaking around the entry and inter-connecting doors at night. (Our room was a separate room of a larger apartment) Bathroom was very clean, although there was no soap holder in the shower. There was a rather disturbing water leak on the ceiling beam of the lower car park. The hotel fronts onto the excellent lakeside walking/cycling track. The steps are a bit tricky for cyclists, but there are other access points nearby so it is not a problem. Generally we had an excellent experience during our three day stay. Lesa meira

Very n ice appartment rooms,average location,20 mins walking from town. Room service very average for a 4 star property . Overall a great place to stay if you get the right price.
"Modern Comfortable Stylish"
We have stayed 5 nights at the Oaks Shores Apartments and found it very pleasant. We stayed in a one bedroom deluxe apartment on level 5. The apartment is very modern, spacious, and has and extra large balcony. The view is spectacular and the location is excellent, right on the lake's shore. The furnishing is new and modern, the appliances are good […] quality. The bed was surprisingly comfortable and level 5 is away from the street noise, so it was very quiet at night and we had a good sleep. The only downside of this hotel is their restaurant. Although it has a very nice setting the chicken that we ordered was terrible. The waitress was very nice and polite, and she immediately told the chef that we have complained about the food. They were very apologetic and offered us a free drink. I think the problem is that this is a small restaurant not a huge selection of foods and some of them made from frozen precooked ingredients. We haven't tried any more food in this restaurant as there are many more good restaurant in Queenstown. Overall I can recommend this accommodation and I would definitely stay there again. Lesa meira

"Our return visit to Oaks Shores."
We have stayed at oaks Shores on a previous occasion. We went back because the apartments are extremely spacious, the balcony views are breathtakingand the location is ideal for access to the airport, town restaurants and golf courses. We will certainly return.

The rooms and front desk service were very nice. The house keeping however was very poor. The towels were picked up off the floor and hung. The rubbish was not taken out. The only thing done in our room which was the only evidence of house keeping being there was the beds were made with the same linen. The Oaks Shore Apartments was a peaceful apartment block to stay at with the view of the snow on the top of the mountain range with green trees which cascaded into the absolutly blue/ crystal clear water was fantastic. The service on the first day the 2 girls at the front just didnt see to happy to be serving at all. The access to the reception area […] from our room was around the world twice, but the exercise wasnt a problem. We stayed in a 4 bedroom apartment and could not have asked for more. The 4 bedroom is made up of two seperate 2 bedroom apartments with the main apartment having the laundry and larger kitchen and lounge area. The room facilities were excellent with all modern conveniences. With 8 people it was a real bonus having the washing machine and dryer in our […] room. It was also great having 2 seperate apartments as we had the benefit of the extra kitchen and bathrooms. The views were to die for and we could not have asked for more. "Not Impressed"
Placed quite a bit out of city centre but just opposite of the lake which was good. We booked an aprtment so thought it will be self serviced regular one..but surprised when we found out it will be hotel room in apartment building. The biggest problem in building was how its laid out. To get to your room from reception you need to change 2 lifts , […] move around few set of stairs and still ll be lucky if you find your room (took us about 15 mins to find). The first hotel we seen which doesnt provide any bin in your room ..just one in bathroom..a smaill one. The tV they supply is just about the size you get in plane in front your seat. and guess what you cant see full picture you ll probably miss half of the viewing area..which was just a joke. Very noisy in the morning so you ll get up for sure. no need of alarm. Lesa meira
Mycket trevligt hotell. Prisvärt med fin utsikt över bergen. Fin promenad längst vattnet in till Queenstown. Läget kräver dock att man har bil.

Sijainniltaan ei aivan täydellinen koska hieman keskustan ulkopuolella, mutta muuten mainio ja hyvässä kunnossa oleva uusi hotelli mitä voisin suositella kenelle tahansa. Maan alla oleva parkkihalli hyvä ja bussilla pääsee kätevästi muutamassa minuutissa hotellin edestä keskustaan. Hotellissa sekä huoneistoja että hotellihuoneita.

"Appartement immense, excellent staff"
Nous sommes arrivés à 10h00, avons obtenu un appartement immédiatement avec une vue splendide. L'appartement était immense, les chambre de bonne taille, chacune avec leur salle de bain. Le staff était très sympa et très serviable. 5 minutes en voiture pour Queenstown. Machine à laver le linge et séchoir à disposition gratuitement dans le garage. Terrace […] de l'appartement énorme. Nous étions au 10ème étage, un peu de bruit en provenance de la route (qui est justement à la hauteur du 10ème étage à l'arrière du bâtiment). Demandez un étage plus bas!
