vantaði heitt vatn á baðherbergið hjá okkur í 1 og hálfan dag, herbergið fljótt yfir litið hreint, en þegar maður var á klósettinu sá maður mikið ryk bak við hurðina og horfði á handklæðaofninn sem var allur í ryki á milli rimlanna

"Novotel Muenchen City - besti morgunnverðurinn"Metið af Auður Ester G G frá "Kópavogur, Ísland" þann 8. okt. 2010
Við fjölskyldan gistum á Novotel Muenchen City í september 2010. Erum með 2 lítil börn. Hótelið var í alla staði glæsilegt og aðstaða fyrir börn góð en þeir eru með leikherbergi í andyrinu með leikjatölvum og fleira dót. Herbergið var mjög fallegt og hreint. Baðherbergið var með bæði baði og sturtu en það kemur sér vel þegar maður er með lítil börn. Morgunnverðurinn á hótelinu er hreint út sagt frábær og langar manni að sita þar endalaust og borða. Það er hægt að fá nánast allt og svo stendur kokkur og býr til eggjakökur og pönnukökur fyrir þig eins og þú villt. Hótelið er í gögnufæri við bæinn og einnig er Munchen safnið í 5 mín göngufjarlægð. Hótelið er með sér bílastæðahús svo ekki þarf að leita að bílastæðum ef maður er á bíl. Einnig er lestarstöðin rétt hjá. Ég mæli því eindregið með þessu hóteli.

Recommended. Very close of Central RR Station. Reasonable rate. Excellent staff. Very good breakfast. Large comfortable room. Like others , can't understand why the shower is enclosed in window class but no problem. Would certainly stay there again.

"Convenient, clean and friendly."
The wireless internet was a bit flakey (cut out a few times), Breakfast was excellent as was the service. The cafe / bar on the main floor was much better than I expected for a hotel of this size. Very convenient to the train station. My room facing the inner couryard was quiet. Overall it was very good value.

Excellent location on U-Bahn stop, but easy walk to Marien Platz. Along the way stop at Augustiner Keller for a Bavarian meal you will never forget. The Hotel Bar and Restaurant are pleasant and popular,, and the breakfasts are supers. You will enjoy your stay here guaranteed.

"Conveniently located hotel near Central Station"
This hotel, in my opinion, has average facility. The breakfast was modest but is good enough. But, the dinner was a bit over priced and seemed that the kitchen needs more manpower to usher out dishes quickly.

The lobby was beautiful which raised my expectations for the room, which was nice but could use new carpet and a better TV. The shower is all glass so not great for sharing with friends! Staff was very friendly but another guest walked into my room using her doorkey, which made me feel a bit unsafe. "Great Location"
We stayed during a weekend and the location is great, near the train station and high end hotels. Easy to get around the city from this location. Room was very good once you get over the glass shower in the room. Breakfast was very good with hot food service and lots of cold meats, cheeses, breads etc. Well worth the cost.

"Fleming's Hotel Munich-close to HBF"
We stayed 3 nights in Munich during the Christmas holiday season 2011. I chose this quaint hotel because of its good reviews online. I am happy we stayed here. With a bit of apprehension, we booked our stay in Munich at Flemings based on former guest comments. All my guidebooks recommended other hotels in the same area. From check in to check out, we were greeted with kind, first class service. We arrived after dark, but found the hotel very easily from the Train Station. The breakfast staff is wonderful also. "Flemings, Munich"
We stayed in the hotel for three nights at the end of November for a city break, timed to see the first of the Christmas markets. The hotel is right by one of the central train stations, which is very helpful indeed. Larger train stations, in my experience, often have a few groups 'hanging' round, and this was no exception, however I felt safe, even […] late at night. We found it easy to walk into the city centre, at is not far, but you could very easily take the underground or tram for the three stops. The staff were excellent. Friendly and helpful, without exception. The room was clean, and very quiet, even with the road and trams nearby. Breakfast was very good, even the coffee and as tourists, I liked that it was 6-10 am. I was aware of the glass shower before I booked, and although it is unusual, it was fine, and the shower was rather good. I really enjoyed Munich, the people, sights and culture, and Flemings proved to be a comfortable and pleasant hotel well located to get around the city. Lesa meira
"Would not stay anywhere else in Munich"
We are a mid 40s couple who were looking for a nice hotel for a weekend getaway, our first time in Munich. The staff were great, the room was lovely, the shower visible from the bed, was naughty and nice. Romms very quiet, nice decor, and nice touches like a bowl of fresh apples in the room. Lovely spa area downstairs, and nice bar/deli. We had dinner […] and drinks at the restaurant, and were really good. Breakfast in the morning was the best I have had in a hotel, (working for an airline, we travel a lot). From the squeezed juice, to the smoked salmon and roast beef, and fresh fruit, they have tried to cater for people from all parts of the world.....my husband did not want to leave the table. Ten minutes walk to town, so great location. TIP: At the airport buy a day ticket, for 11.80E as the trip from the airport is 10E, and you can use this all day for an extra 1.80E. The hotel was very clean and well kept with a friendly staff. Our room was a nice size with a king size bed....however the bed was extremely uncomfortable, thank goodness we only stayed there 2 nights. The breakfast in the morning was delicious and the location was great.

Great hotel with great staff and a perfect location! I thought it might be loud with the train station across the street but it wasn't at all. It was the best breakfast buffet we had in our 15 day trip!! The staff was always VERY friendly and helpful with driving directions, restaurant recommendations and general questions about the city and the surrounding […] area. We we glad to hear they had a fitness center but they only had a few pieces of equipment and the one treadmill was broken when were there. The shower in the room is a bit difficult for privacy. The location is fine but maybe the glass should be matte instead of clear. Would definitely stay here again! Lesa meira

The breakfast at the hotel was really very very good and the hotel overall had great staff, was in a good location, well priced and comfortable. Close to old town and across the road from main line station. The only downside was a very unusual bathroom set up. "Good but...."
The hotel is right next to the Munich.., a very short walk from the side enterance. Right now there is major construction of the road in front of the hotel,so no taxis or other vehicles can get there. Very noisy during the day. The rooms are small and very unusual..They have what is called an exposed bathroom which means the shower is made of glass […] and is in the middle of the room.The bathroom wall is also made of glass. the toilet IS behind a solid wall. It was very uncomfortable to take a shower,looking at the TV and chairs next to the bed. It was just not for us. The staff was outstanding,Very friendly,and very knowledgable. They gave excellant recomendations for restaurants and places to visit. They spoke excellant English,German,French and I think I heard one in spanish. The Full breakfast was awsome.. Large with an excellant solection of foods. You could even get Poached eggs, Very rare in any hotel. Taxis were 100 ft away and tour busses were in front of the train station. Nice hotel, spacious, clean room with a very good bathroom, excellent breakfast. Railway station right across the street, a bit of a walk to the nicer parts of town though. Only negative is the bed (two twins put side to side - why do Europeans do this?!), which was hard as a rock with flimsy pillows.

Good central location. Couldn't fault the hotel. I knew what I was letting us in for with the shower cubicle in the bedroom! Room spacious and clean. Had a really good night's sleep despite room being located at the front of the hotel overlooking the busy main street. Flemings Hotel in Munich was excellent value for money. Right across the road from the main train station, the room was bright and spacious and clean and modern, the staff were lovely, and the breakfast was delicious.

Flemings hotel is good, clean modern hotel by the main train station. We had breakfast at the hotel and the service and friendliness of the staff were matched by the good quality food served. The hotel room itself was clean, although we had a corner room and the shower cubical was in the middle of the room, which made you look like you're in a presentation […] case so if you're sharing a room with someone other than husband/wife/partner it may be an issue! ( the other rooms may not be like this). Wifi is free, but times out after 10 hours so need to request another code. I would use Flemings again. Lesa meira

It is located directly across from the train station and was about a 10 minute walk to marienplatz. The hotel location is extremely convinient with a very close reach to main train & underground station. Front desk staff and restaurant staff were very friendly and did their best to help and satisfy the requirements. Restaurant is very cosy and serves very good food. My overall experience was excellent.

Considering it is next door to the Le Meridian it's a bargain. It may not have a Valet to park your car or even a bell boy for the luggage BUT the room was very nice/ clean and sort of boutique like (: A safe, a green apple and gummy bears on the fluffy pillows. What's funny is that I decided I didn't want to be in the "seedy" train district area and […] supposedly this place wasn't in it but here it was right next to the others in the same district (which wasn't seedy at all) . . . just busy. Flemings Hotel is located across from the Munich bahnhoff, the Sofitel and Meridian hotels. The general neighborhood is busy but safe, 5 minutes walk from the Karlstor and 15 - 20 minutes walk to the Marienplatz/Residenz. Sfaff was very friendly and helpful. Dinner at the restauant was excellent as was the breakfast. Parking garage was available, convenient […] and with access to the hotel. The room was very comfortable with a very interesting bathroom arrangement with an open glass shower facing the room. Highly recommend and would return again in the future. Lesa meira

At first we were reluctant to book a hotel so close to the train station. In checking further we discovered the hotel is next to the La Mederian and across from the Sofitel. It turned out to be very convenient arriving and departing by train and seeing the city. The hotel exceeded our expectations. The room was a good size and spotless. However, the […] glass shower in the room is a bit funky, but fun. Front desk was very helpful with city information. I didn’t hang up my phone properly after asking for a wake up call. The next morning one of the front desk people came up and knocked on our door to wake us. They had a package for a small additional fee that included internet, pay TV and unlimited mini bar. Flemings hotel was soo close to the train station. The immediate vicinity had middle-eastern cafes, hotel was spotless and breakfast was great. Main shopping area was in walking distance.

"Fleming's hotel in Munich. Friendly and convenient"
Great hotel in a very convenient location (less than 5 mins from the central station). The room did not have a bath which my girlfriend was disappointed by, but other than that everything was ideal. Staff are very helpful and friendly. I highly recommend this hotel.

I spent the New Year with my fiancée in Munich. We expected that the hotel is very close to the Central Station. However, when we get out from the station we realized that the hotel is literally just cross road from the station, NICE SURPRISE!!! The hotel is only about 10 minutes walk to the Marian Platz, which is very handy. The staff at the front […] desk was very friendly and he speaks fluent English. He offered some very helpful tips which was great help for our short tour in the pretty city. The room is good size, clean and very modern. The bed is very comfortable. The only little downside is the pillow is too soft and too low down but we requested for an extra pillow so the problem is easily resolved. Overall, it's a lovely hotel and I'd highly recommend it! "Fleming hotel - great location."
Fantastic location right next to the Hauptbahnhof. Staff were very welcoming & friendly. The room was lovely, except the pillow. Very flat and basically not comfortable. Good value deli next door as well, where breakfast is served. Would stay there again.

This hotel is excellent - really close to the railway station and a very (and I mean very) short walk into the heart of the city centre and about 15 minute walk to the gay quarter. The hotel itself is very well presented and fulfils its 4 star rating. Great rooms (if you can get over the shower being on view in the bedroom - don't share wth a friend […] if you're shy!!) and the breakfast was very good. A definate return to this place. Good modern hotel. Comfortable rooms. Friendly staff. Restaurant serves good food and wine at reasonable prices. Wifi internet connection is reliable and fast. Two things to note - the room is open plan and the shower is just the glass box so might be a bit awkward if sharing with just friends. Second, the one disappointment in service was during […] breakfast. Staff seemed overwhelmed by hot food orders, many complaints around me and our food was delivered to wrong table, so was rather cold by the time we actually got it. Just got back from an excellent weekend in Munich! Everything was so easy from beginning to end. Stayed in the Flemming Hotel which was excellent, friendly staff, great brekkie, great bar, amazing shower!!... and within walking distance of the city centre. The must do thing is to visit the Hofbräuhaus! If you like beer and food then you can't go wrong. […] Get into the spirit of things though, get the Beers flowing and have a good time! Lesa meira
