"Gott hótel á frábærum stað."Metið af Omar E frá "Garðabaer, Iceland" þann 25. ágú. 2011
Hótelið er frábærlega staðsett í hjarta miðbæjarins og stendur við göngugötu þar sem mannlífið iðar, með verslunum og veitingastöðum. Þrátt fyrir það eru herbergin þannig staðsett að þegar inn á þau er komið heyrist lítill sem enginn hávaði frá götu. Herbergið var með skandinavísku yfirbragði, smekklegt, þægilegt og þrifalegt. Mikill kostur var að hafa kælingu í herberginu enda heitt í veðri (35-37°C). Þá var minibar á herberginu og ólíkt því sem maður á oft að venjast þá var verð á því sem þar var að finna mjög hófstillt. Þjónustan var mjög fín og starfsfólkið bæði hjálplegt og elskulegt. Aðstoðaði m.a. við að panta "Airport Shuttle Bus", benti á spennandi staði (og veitingastaði) og aðstoðaði við að finna þessa staði á korti. Það starfsfólk sem ég átti samskipti við talaði allt ágæta ensku, sem er ekki sjálfgefið í Búdapest (og enn síður þegar komið er út fyrir borgina). Get varla nefnt neitt neikvætt um þetta hótel en ef ég rembist við að reyna að tiltaka eitthvað þá hefði gjarnan mátt vera boðið upp á fleiri erlendar sjónvarpsstöðvar (var einungis BBC) ekki síst þar sem allt sjónvarpsefni í Ungverjalandi er talsett og því hefur maður ekki hugmynd um hvað verið er að tala um. Jafnframt hefði morgunmaturinn, sem var innifalinn, mátt vera meira spennandi. Brauð og þess háttar var frekar þurrt og eins og hálfstaðið en þessa reynslu hef ég reyndar frá mörgum öðrum hótelum í Evrópu og get því vart sagt að þetta sé stór mínus fyrir Promenade hótelið sérstaklega. Heilt yfir - mæli eindregið með hótelinu - frábærlega staðsett og "worth every penny". :-)

Friendly atmosphere. Good location, nice rooms, great bathrooms.

"Would go back again"
we stayed at this hotel with my husband for 3 nights. the hotel is in a very good location, very close to metro, train stations. our room was spacious and clean, the shower was great. we didn't have breakfast so i cant comment on the food. overall we enjoyed our stay and we would definitely come back again.

well it was great.. clean hotel wel setup and the people face full with smile.. well i like the place because i didnt hear people yelling n the streets or car sound,. what i hate about it is that i ddnt stay there for long.. i have chose this hotel to be best because of it up bringing

"No frills hotel"
Basic but perfectly satisfactory hotel. Staff are helpful and courteous. The breakfast that is included is absolutely fine and a typical European affair. The location of the hotel itself is central to the town and within walking distance of the town centre, also if you don't fancy walking there is a metro station 400m from the hotel. "Cheap and Serviceable - like a hostel w/ breakfast"
Pros: cheap, 24 hours front desk, nice breakfast spread. Cons: Kind of off the beaten path, tiny bathroom that was prone to flooding from improperly installed shower floor, duvet and sheets had hair and unknown stains on them. Very thin walls. It was hit or miss with front desk staff. We arrived around 11 o'clock at night on a late train and the older […] gentleman at the desk was very helpful and accomodating. The rest of our stay, the young woman and young man at the desk were terse and unhelpful or just plain rude. I asked the young man if the hotel offered mail service (most front desks will at least hold you mail for the next time a mailman picks up if they don't have a box) and he was affronted that I would even ask-- "Why would I mail your letters for you?" he demanded. When paying the "tourist charge" at the end of our stay I had only a large bill and the young woman made a disgusted noise and comment in Hungarian that i couldn't provide her with exact change. I've heard that customer service in Eastern Europe is less than stellar, but this was common courtesy stuff. But if you're just looking for a room with a locking door, a decent breakfast, and a place to sleep this serves the purpose. Get what you pay for. Lesa meira

Although this hotel is reasonably newly renovated and inexpensive, it was not worth the money. It's location is a little out of the way from most sights--although the metro is readily available and convenient. The neighborhood is under construction. The first room we were assigned, the shower backed up and flooded the entire bathroom and half of the […] sleeping room. No offer of another room was forthcoming until we requested it. "Nice hotel in good location"
This hotel is very conveniently located two blocks from a metro stop, and a popular street Andrassy Utca. It's no frills, but comfortable with a friendly and helpful staff. A small breakfast is included, which consists of breads, jam, a couple of sliced meats, cheese, cereals, yogurt, milk, juice, & coffee.

Staff is helpful, breakfast is ok (3 Euro each), close to supermarket, non-stop mini store and not far from metro, a good restaurant nearby which hotel staff will introduce it to you. Room is a bit small but it is more than enough in Hong Kong standard~~ Wifi is available in our room and the place we have breakfast, speed is more than enough. "Green central hotell nära tunnelbana"
Hotellet ligger nära en tunnelbanestation på gula linjen som går från centrum på Pest sidan till Budapests största bad. Linjen är väl underhållen med trevliga stationer. Hoellets lobby är bemannad dygnet runt.

Hotellet ligger i roliga omrode næra til stadskærna gå avstond till nestan alt. Anbefala i de varmaste. vi var fem personer fra Norge og storkuste oss.

I spent a lovely 4 days in Budapest while staying in this hotel, and it was an excellent choice for me. It was a bit further from the center, about 10-15min walk but easy to reach with metro and a really quiet side street. An inexpensive choice for a young traveler who wont spend too much time in the hotel room. Service was good and rooms were comfortable, […] but the only downside was a bit weak wireless internet connection, even though it was mentioned on the hotel pages. Schönes kleines preiswertes Hotel. Liegt in unmittelbarer Nähe der U-Bahn Station. Mit der U-Bahn erreicht man alle Sehenswürdigkeiten von Budapest sehr schnell. The hotel is located very closed to one of the principal streets , and has the metro beside. Rooms are ok if you are not looking to stay a lot of time on the hotel , breakfast is basic .

"Okej, med tanke på priset"
+ Läget var perfekt, mellan city och parken (med Szechenyi bad). + Priset var lågt + Lugnt hotell + Trippelrummet, ganska stort. - Frukosten gick knappt att äta. Kaffet var bränt, påläggsalternativen var knappa, ingen juice, istället saftliknande dryck eller kranvatten (smakar klor). - Två av tre i receptionen gav obefintlig service. En var dock relativt […] hjälpsam och trevlig. - Sängarna var mycket hårda. - Lakanen täckte inte hela sängen. - En hel del mygg, spindlar och andra insekter på rummet - Tillägget för AC var relativt högt. Exempel på orenhet + dålig service: Städerskan hade slagit ut ett glas på golvet (heltäckningsmatta), och inte dammsugit upp det ordentligt. När vi påpekade det i receptionen så svarade han som stod där att han inte kunde göra något åt det, men att det skulle fixas under morgondagen. Tyvärr var det precis lika mycket glassplitter på golvet dagen efter. Jag skulle själv inte bo här igen, men jag skulle däremot rekommendera det för läget samt det låga priset. Lesa meira

central dominik hotel è posizionato bene e il rapporto qualità prezzo è ottimo.E' prossimo alla via Andrassy e alla stazione Ortegon, da dove partono bus diretti ovunque.,Non è poi tanto vicino dalle rive del danubio(centro), quando si decide di andare a piedi, ma una lunga passeggiata ricompensa la fatica, poichè si può ammirate una architettura meravigliosa. […] Pulizia e cortesia è garantita,la colazione lascia un pò a desiderare: i loro affettati sono tagliati ad ostia e misurati, i tovagiolini sono di velo! Per chi non ha pretese.....Dimenticavo: un pò rumoroso, non per la posizione, ma per gli ospiti, che essendo provenienti da ogni parte la notte si mettono a chiacchierare sotto le finestre, e buona parte di loro sono tutti dei gran bevitori di birra. Ecco, la mia stanza dava sulla strada e potete immaginare.. inoltre le tende a mezz'asta, fanno entrare la luce, quindi o ti svegli da solo o ti sveglia il resto. Nel contesto ok, a me interessa poco, dormo solo e questo è garantito. Ancora un'ultima cosa: i cuscini sono bassi, e le lenzuola sono corte, quindi ti ritrovi a dormire sul coprimaterasso. "OK for the money"
The neigbourhood was very quiet, but some noise was heard from room to room. The room was marketed as with free wifi, but there was no coverage in the room. I found wifi in the hallway, but I'm not sure it was from the hotel! There was no soap in the shower. Perfect location, on a very quiet street and still close to Metro 1. "Nice staff at a good F1 location"
24h reception with nice people working there. Good service. A perfect hotel for a Formula 1-weekend, when you don't spend very much time in the room, just sleeping there a few hours every night. The location is great (especially if you wanna go quickly to Hungaroring and still sleep in town). The taxi drivers have a hard time finding the hotel though, […] and there is another hotel with a similar name where we ended up more than one time. "Centralt och bra läge med ok standard"
Hotellet låg väldigt centralt bara några "metro" stationer ifrån centrum och tunnelbanan gick väldigt snabbt till centrum. Lite dåligt upplyst just på gatan mot hotellet, fanns inga gatulampor. Personalen var väldigt trevliga och hjälpsamma. Frukostbuffén klarade man sig på men det tog slut youghurt ganska snabbt och det fylldes inte på sen om det var […] slut ofta, t.ex. om man kom lite innan 10 när buffen slutade fick man ingen youghurt. Min reskamrat tyckte sängen var jättehård på hotellet men som gammal campare så tyckte jag det gick bra.. min reskamrat vaknade dock av att han hade ont i ryggen på nätterna. Rummen var inte särskilt ljudisolerade så man kunde på morgonen höra övriga hotellgäster väsnas.. men på nätterna var det relativt tyst (vi hade väl morgonpigga grannar) Lesa meira
