Hótelið er snyrtilegt og vel staðsett, örstutt í neðanjarðarlestina. Margir litlir og notalegir veitingastaðir í kring. Starfsfólkið afskaplega vingjarnlegt og lobbyið mjög aðlaðandi. Herbergið hreint og fínt, rúmið gott og það eina sem við gátum sett út á var hvað herbergið var svakalega lítið. En við vorum ánægðar

I stay at the Bayswater-Paddington area near Hyde Park several times each year, and have tried half a dozen hotels there. The International is one of the nicest, and certainly the nicest at its price. The room is average size. Everything works though - including hot water, and the heater/air conditioner. Decor is both new, and modern in styling. The […] staff is friendly, although I hardly even need to interact with them. Check-in and check-out are very fast. The hotel is within walking easy walking distance to both Bayswater and Queensway stations, so lots of train options for access. Paddington (the fastest way to Heathrow airport) is a long walk away, but you can always take the tube one stop to Bayswater instead. The area between Queensway and Bayswater is full of restaurants and stores. Lots of small hotels nearby, so tourists are plentiful along with the shops that serve them. Head just 2 blocks in away from Queensway street though, and you get to some more typical London neighborhoods with their pubs and restaurants. Hyde Park is just a block or two away. Lesa meira

Yes, the rooms are small, but for two backpackers for two nights, it wasn't a problem. Room was very nice. Free wifi in the rooms is also a plus. I was somewhat surprised that the reception could not suggest a place for afternoon tea, since this is a hotel in london for tourists....but otherwise good location and nice staff (they even gave me an adapter […] since I needed to charge my phone) Lesa meira

Like most London rooms in this price range, our room was small. Before we checked in, the pleasant individual at the desk told us that he could provide us with a slightly larger than normal room if we didn't mind the muffled sound of the tube passing nearby. We took the room and managed to lived with the sound, grateful for the desk clerks honesty. […] This was a pleasant experience for us. From the moment I arrived the staff were efficient and friendly, a good combination! The hotel has recently been refurbished and the room was spotless, a good bathroom with quality towels. The bed was just the right hardness and the bed linen was new. I enjoyed the breakfasts too. Our room was very nice furnished, but quite small.

The room was pretty small, but perfect for a short stay. Bathroom was brand new and everything worked perfectly. Hotel staff is excellent.

The hotel is well-maintained and in a good location. Unfortunately, the room and the gym were very small. This makes the hotel OK for a one-night sleep-over, but no more.

I spent a long weekend in london for the notting hill carnival and this hotel was just perfect for that. as mentioned in other reviews, the rooms are very small, but they are clean, the bathroom has recently been renovated and looks very nice now. they were doing some repair work in the entrance hall so this might be nice now, but we had to enter […] via a side door in late august. the neighborhood is OK, it is just off the busy street and therefore quiet. you could hear the tube running under the hotel, but it was not too bad on the second floor. The smallest room we have ever seen. You could only reach the bed from one side and that they called a double room. And the window was in the bottom of a yard big as the the bed whith hardly any light at all but a lot of dirt. You could hear the subway just under the hotel. They want you to pay an extra 20 pound just i case !! And asked us to pay for […] a lunch we hadn´t eat. The hotel was clean and well situated. The room was elegant though small. The staff were pleasant. Here's why I wouldn't recommend it: Our room had a window that opened onto a ventilation shaft with another wall about three feet away. In this wall, directly facing our window, was an enormous, loud fan. So you really couldn't open the window for fresh […] air without being assaulted by the noise of said fan. When we complained, they could only give us a much smaller room, in which two people could hardly turn around or be out of bed at the same time. Actually, we could hardly both be in bed at the same time as the bed in the new room was a smallish "full." So what should have been a lovely three day treat in a nice hotel was disappointing, and they would not give us a refund to make up for the difference in the room size. We won't be going there again. After reading through hundreds of feedback on several hotels, we took a chance on this hotel and were VERY glad we did! It was clean and the location was PERFECT. There is an excellent breakfast/sandwich shop nearby, 2 tube stations (1 blk for the Green/Yellow line and 2 blks for the red line). Arrived at 12 noon and had to wait two hours for the room after traveling all the way from San Francisco. The room I got was tiny...six feet wide by maybe ten feet long. It was modern and clean. Closet-sized bathroom, but well appointed and clean. Adequate ventilation and quiet.

A clean and comfortable hotel in a very good location (minutes from Hyde Park and very close to two underground stations).

Hotel was in a great area with access to 2 tube stations and 1 block from Hyde Park. I would stay here again!

From other reviews of this hotel, it was exactly as I expected. Yes, the room was small, but it was plenty of room for me (I had the single room). I could keep my suitcase on the stand out of the way at the end of the bed, the wardrobe was plenty big enough, with three shelves, the bathroom had plenty of room with space for my toiletries, the shower […] was perfect. Yes, I could hear hotel noise in my room, as it was right behind the front desk, which did not have carpeting, so I could hear the attendant walking, and doors opening and closing, and the room was across the hall from the Club Room and a staff closet. Altough I couldn't recommend this room, I would stay in it again as I live in an apartment building that can get noisy, so I felt right at home. I even enjoyed hearing the train run underground. I never heard any noise from the room next to me, though, so that makes me think that the rooms farther back would be quieter, so I would recommend the hotel in general. Lesa meira

This hotel is located in a great multi-cultural neighborhood. The hotel staff was very receptive to requests for service and able to provide useful information. The hotel is located within a city block of both the Queensway and Bayswater tube stations. The neighborhood restaurants are plentiful and of every ethnic type you might imagine (Italian, […] Greek, Persian, Chinese, French). We would enjoy staying at this hotel again, in the near future. On arrival we were told that the hotel had no water because of mains work being undertaken in the area and so our booking had been transferred to a sister hotel. We were transferred by car. The hotel standard and decor were fine, but the room was tiny. They gave us complementary breakfast.

The location of the hotel is amazing and cannot be beat. Located in a quiet residential neighborhood only a block and a half from Hyde Park/Kennsington Gardens and a block from the Tube, you are always close to wherever you want to go. I didn't think it was possible to have such a small hotel room. I could touch the two side walls! Honestly, I bet the room was 5' X 8'. I couldn't even walk through the door with my luggage. The furnishings were nice but the room was not cleaned very well. The hotel service was poor. I almost missed a flight because they failed to give me the wake-up […] call that I requested. I booked this hotel for my boyfriends birthday and having stayed in 4* hotels before we were both very much of the opinion that this should not have been in the 4* rating! The room was TINY!!! We could not open the door to the room with out first closing the bathroom door! floor space was miniscule, it was almost impossible to stand on the floor once […] both our bags were in! As for the bathroom - you could almost sit on the toilet, have a shower and brush your teeth all at the same time! Very comfortable hotel. One block away from stations for the Circle, District and Central lines. I recommend an Oyster Card for ease of travel around the city. Lots of places to eat near by.

The location of the hotel is good with some modern decor in the rooms. The main problem for me was the size of the room. Our deluxe double room for me was the equivalent of a single room for a "very small" person. Shower space etc was also the same. Would not recommend this hotel.

Great location. Cosy room and ideal for short stay. One down-side is that it gets quite noisy in the morning when your neighbours shut their door or hotel staff do clean-up in adjacent rooms.

This hotel is well situated being very close to Bayswater and Queensway stations. The hotel is clean and reasonably comfortable. Clean sheets and towels every day. This hotel was brilliant, for the price I paid I wasnt expecting much, but I was extremely impressed and would definatley go back if I was in the area again. The only down side to this hotel was the room size. They are on the small size, but if your not bothered about that and just want a place to sleep, I recommend this hotel. Well located, nicely refurbished, good service but DON'T BOOK A SINGLE ROOM!!! I have stayed in this hotel twice, booking a single room on both occasions. The first time I thought the room was small - to use the computer I had to first find somewhere to put the tea tray, then there was not enough room to pull out the stool to sit at the table. But […] I coped. The second time the room was even smaller. The single bed had less than 500mm (18 inches) between it and the wall, and it was hard up against the other wall. The LCD TV was wall mounted - but couldn't be watched as the only place to sit was on the bed, and the angle of vision meant the picture was distorted. To give them some credit, when I asked the staff about an upgrade they were able to put me in a double room on the second night of the stay. Apparently the room I was in on my first stay was larger than the rest of the singles.... Lesa meira

Vi gillar havet och vi är genuina seglare från grunden. Därför har vi inga problem med den "båtkänsla" man får när man kliver in i hotellrummet. Det gäller att organisera sig och göra en sak i taget.

Hotell med 4 stjerner - hva betyr det? Beliggenheten litt avsides i det travle London. Ligger på feil side av Hyde Park, men dog lett å ta seg frem med undergrunden eller gå igjennom parken for å komme til det pulserende London. Rommene er så små, at man må gå ut for å skifte mening.Hva betyr rangeringen med stjerner?

Hotellet er koselig. Rent og pent. Vi bodde på et Deluxe dobbeltrom. Det var lite og trangt, sengen var nok knappe 1.20 m bred. men badet var flott og rommet i seg selv var koselig. Kommer nok til å bestille der igjen, men vil be om ikke 1. etasje. Vi bodde på ground floor, og kunne høre tuben som kjørte under oss. Noe av det geniale er nærheten […] til både Hyde Park, og 3 forskjellige undergrunds linjer på 2 forskjellig stasjoner, som lå ca 5 minutters gange unna hotellet. (rød, gul og grønn linje) Med disse 3 linjene har du enkel tilgang på det meste som er verdt å se i London. Alt i alt fornøyd med hotellet. Ps. ikke bestill hotellfrokosten, det er kjempekoselige små caféer i nærheten, og "tesco", "subway" og "eat" ligger rett rundt hjørnet. Billigere og bedre frokos enn hotellfrokosten. Lesa meira

Ma fille adolescente et moi venons de passer une semaine dans cet hôtel, et nous y retournerons sans doute lors de notre prochain séjour, tant le personnel est disponible et aimable. La chambre luxe était petite mais fonctionnelle, toujours très propre, le linge de toilette changé chaque jour, les draps tous les deux jours. Quelques bruits d'eau dans […] les chambres proches, et on entend le métro parfois, mais rien de gênant. La chambre donnait sur l'arrière cour, la vue n'était pas formidable, mais nous n'y étions que pour dormir, donc cela ne nous a pas dérangées. La situation géographique de l'hôtel est appréciable : restaurants, pubs, et divers commerces dans la rue d'à côté sont bien pratiques. Les deux stations de métro aussi, surtout quand deux des trois lignes qui desservent le quartier sont fermées le week-end : il en reste toujours une ! Et il y a de toute manière aussi des arrêts de bus partout, même devant l'hôtel ! La proximité de Hyde Park, de Notting Hill Gate ou le très populaire Paddington rend le coin charmant. Svært små rom.

Das Zimmer ist zwar - erwartungsgemäß in Bayswater- klein, aber sehr nett eingerichtet. Das Bad klein, aber optimal ausgenutzt und sehr sauber, moder und chic. Bei Handlingsproblemen mit dem Safe (der Vormieter hatte leider mit seiner PIN das Schloss blockiert) kam Personal innerhalb von wenigen Miunten zum Richten. Der Safe war angenehm groß genug […] auch für 2 Notebooks - gut zu wissen, wenn man auch Businessmässig unterwegs ist. Bayswater liegt ideal an Central, Circle und District Line, additive ist eien Busline direkt zum Viktorioa Station verfügbar - gut zu wissen, wenn amn eines der neueren Theater um Victoria Station besuchen möchte. Bayswater ist auch, wenn am als Frau alleine unterwegs ist, eine abends/nachts sehr angehme Addresse. Viele Esslokale haben noch bis fast Mitternacht zum Essen auf, kleinerer Lebensmittelgeschäfte sogar noch länger. Das Hotel in einem der in der Gegend üblichen kleineren Stadthäuser ist super renoviert, hat dabei aber seinen Charm behalten. Lesa meira

Das Zimmer war klein, das Fenster nur auf dem bett stehend zugänglich. Sauberkeit in Ordnung. Bad klein, aber modern. Die Zimmer-Schlüsselkarten mußten in 5 Tagen 3mal neu programmiert werden. Das Personal war sehr freundlich.

Trevligt hotel med bra läge. Hjälpsam och trevligt personal. Rummet var litet men fint och rent, gratis wifi och bekväm säng Tyvärr hörde man tunnelbanan från vårt rum vilket var lite störande tills man vant sig vid ljudet.

Vores hotelværelse var kæmpe stort - en enorm dobbeltseng, lækkert og stort badeværelse og masser af plads over det hele. Der var stikkontakter på badeværelset, hvor vi kunne bruge vores egne stik fra f.eks. mobiloplader og glattejern. Hotellet ligger ca. 50 meter fra nærmeste undergrundsstation, så det kunne nærmest ikke blive nemmere at bevæge sig […] rundt i hele London. Den sidste dag, fik vi lov til at opbevare vores kufferter på hotellet, indtil vi skulle flyve hjem, senere på aftenen. Alt i alt en super dejlig og positiv oplevelse - kunne sagtens finde på at vælge det samme hotel igen. Lesa meira

Vi hade bokat ett twin/dubbel rum, och fick ett dubbelrum som var snyggt och väl inrett och rent, men väldigt väldigt litet. Jag kommer trots storleken att välja detta hotell igen, då läget är perfekt .

Velplaceret roligt og stille hotel med god værelseskomfort.

Hvis du ønsker å bo på et hotell hvor du kan sove om natten velger du ikke dette hotellet. Nærmeste nabo er et svært rimelig overnattingssted. Under vårt opphold var gjestene tyske skoleelever som oppholdt seg utenfor hotellet mesteparten av natten, noe som innebar hyling og roping. I tillegg var det mye trafikkstøy.
