Stayed on the top floor of building D, nice quiet room with good facilities and nice and clean. Found the staff to be very really helpful and pleasant. Would definitely recommend this hotel. My only complaint which stopped it being a score of five was the poor water pressure. Our family of 5 stayed at the Floridays Resort May 6th - 11th. We arrived early on Sunday and although check in is not until 4, we were able to check in early (2:30). We stayed in building A (best location - right across from the pool, lobby, Palm Cafe and game room) and we were quite surprised at how large our suite was. Everything was clean. The hotel […] service was adequate and the housekeeping was fine. They came at different times of the day to make beds and provide clean towlels. At one time they arrived pretty late in the afternoon (shortly after we came from the pool) but only happened once. There is a washer and dryer in the suite as well. We did laundry once which was convenient and didn't have to return home with a ton of dirty laundry. The hotel is located in a decent location - there's a grocery store and pharmacy very close by. This came in quiet handy. There is also the Orlando Premium Outlets just down the street. The hotel is a 10 minute drive from Downtown Disney and the parks/resorts. The pool was fantastic - my kids were constantly there. And the food from the onsite cafe (Palm Cafe) was pretty good. Can't complain about the drinks from the bar either. Overall, we had a great stay - the kids were sad to leave and so were we. Definitely recommend this resort and will return again. Lesa meira

The hotel was spotless and well updated. The pool was great for kids and adults. Nearby grocery and restaurants. Very close to sea world and not far from Disney. Great value.

The pool area for all is really well setup for kids too. while the main road was under construction, access to the hotel was easy. beautiful location. we stayed in building C floor 3 overlooking the 'lake' (pond). it was quiet and had a small view of the pool. short walk past building B to the pool. if you want it quieter and more secluded, go for building […] D or E - there is a separate smaller pool next to those buildings. We were happy but there was some confusion when I booked another day and payed to have a late check out. The key got deactivated and the the hotel our key and made it very difficult to get checked out. My husband is disabled that is why I had paid the extra for a late check out . The stay was ruined by the fact the resort, without our knowledge had taken over $2,000 from our credit card. They blamed it on a computor glitch, but I'm not so sure. Other than that the stay was not too bad. I suggest to other travellers to keep an eye on their credit card balances in case of similar wrongful transactions.

The apartment was ver well appointed and spacious. The resort amenities and service was good and an ideal place for young families. The location was good about half way between the major theme parks. The only negative was when I checked out I received a resort service fee (about $12 per day) which I was not aware of at the time of booking.

I have just returned from my third stay at Floridays Resort, and I can't recommend this place enough. The location is superb, and every member of staff, from front desk to maintenance are amazing. The units are spacious, and well equiped. I would not hesitate to recommend this property to my friends, and am already planning my return visit.

This is the second time that we have stayed here in the last two years. The place is very convenient to all the parks shops etc. There is a large Publix supermarket and pharmacy a few hundred yards down the road. The resort is lovely and the staff including the cleaning ladies are very nice also. I would have no problem in recommending the place.

We had a 2 bedroom- 2 bathroom unit which was very nice but we didn't have a car. If you stay in this hotel you need a car. The hotel shuttle leaves for the the Disney parks at 3 times in the morning and 3 times at night. All shuttles go to Epcot and then you have to transfer buses to get to the other Disney theme parks. It is very inconvenient. There […] is no restaurant in the hotel except a fast food bar and it is not convienent to walk to restaurants or the grocery store. We waited 45 minutes each time we called a taxi. Either have a car or stay at a Disney theme park hotel which has buses every 15 to 20 minutes. Lesa meira

The Hotel was comfortable and well equipped apartments, one very good restraunt within walking distance, you definately need a car, or be willing to use the I ride trolley, next time we will stay further north on International drive.

We enjoyed our stay a lot. The hotel room is actually a large and fully furnished appartment with complete kitchen including all apliances you might need. housekeeping was availeble to change towels and sheets on a daily basis. they probably skipped 2 days during our 12 night stay. The only 2 things that need attention in our room (building E, room […] 407) are the waterpressure of the shower of the master bathroom and the airconditioning unit above the bathroom ceiling makes quite a lot of noise when switching on and off. We would recommend any family who is looking for a convenient place to stay from which you can easily visit all theme parks and (outlet) shopping malls and also spend a nice day at the resort pool. This resort cannot be bettered for price, in relation to the quality of the accommodation, it is near to a Premium Outlet mall and a Publix, close to I4, Disney, Universal parks , Seaworld and Aquatica. We found the accommodation clean, with a welcome pack for the coffee machine, dishwasher, washing liquid and sponge. The room was very nice. It was really convenient to have a full kitchen and washer/dryer. The only thing that kind of annoyed me was that we were in the farthest building. It was quite a walk to the big pool. The weather was cool, so we didn't really use the pool anyway. The food at the café was good. I wish it was a sit down restaurant instead of a […] "fast food" style of restaurant. I expected more for a place that charged $12 for a salad. Overall it was a good experience. Floridays was an OK hotel. For the price we paid, we expected more. There was definitely lots of room, kitchen, washer-dryer as we had a 3-bedroom suite. But the suite was run down and not updated, ie old big box TVs, old carpets, old cupboards and old kitchen appliances. It was like being in an 80s hotel room. Great value for a three bd near Disney. More than enough room for two adults and five kids. Room was a little dated and farthest building is a hike to main pool but great value and location

Nice place - spacious suite, clean, calm and quiet. All the comforts of home - for cooking if you need it, doing your laundry or just relaxing. If you want to visit Disney and Universal and/or Sea World, this is a great family option - while still close to everything - but without paying the premium to stay on a Disney property if you don't need to. […] We actually visited the Magic Kingdom and Hollywood Studios and found it very easy to get there and park our car while visiting the parks. The pool was nice to come back to and relax. Staff friendly and helpful. The new entrance is under construction but did not bother us a bit. Some of the reviews state that buildings E & F are rather far from the pool and amenities - perhaps, but we were in building D, which I liked because it was far enough away to be quiet. They start you out with soap, detergent, some Kuerig coffees but if you stay for an extended period of time you are responsible for purchasing your own coffee, soap for the washer etc...no big deal. Only one complaint but it's minor - the shower head in the MB just barely spit water. My husband got out and said he might need to take another shower because he barely got wet! Herded into back block F, which you need a Car to drive to pool, cafe or reception. Upon requesting room closer to facilities, no return response for the entire 8 day stay, and clearly there were plenty of available rooms. Wi Fi poor and constantly drops out. Wouldn't return to Floridays.

perfect experience for a family vacation. Fun big pool with a great jetted hot tub for relaxing after walking the parks all day! Big lovely hotel suites / room and kitchen with every amenity you need for preparing family meals to save on dining out. This hotel was really worth the money and I highly recommend it.

Pros: Kids loved it - the pool and activities were great. Location was fantastic (except for access to highway 4 could be a bit of a pain due to traffic). Rooms are spacious and are definitely better than most hotel based accomodation. It has everything I wanted, kitchen, laundry. So spacious. The best hotel in our trip to the States, we have been to 5 different hotels. Highly recommended. The only thing we are not used to is to give tips. we forgot for a couple of occasions. Then We found there were not enough towels replaced and guessed it may be the reason. Doorman changed attitude […] very quickly after receiving tips. I thought we pay resorts fees which should be more than enough. I didn't realize that it was going to be more of an apartment than a hotel. Great room but I personally prefer a standard hotel with a reception etc... I did not feel as safe as I would normally be in a hotel.

After being in tight quarters on our cruise ship, the Floridays was wonderful place to spread out in. We were traveling with another family so it was nice to be able to enjoy a glass of wine together, after a busy day at Universal. This hotel is perfect for families of any size. The rooms are amazingly spacious and clean. The kitchen has everything you will need. There is a tv in each bedroom and one in the family room. We stayed at this hotel before and were very happy. This time everything was perfect again except very harsh smell of cleaning chemicals. Couple hours of airing it out made it better. I would not hesitate to stay there again. We even went to the heated pool. In February! :)
