This is not my first stay at here. I have been coming in the spring since 2008. I like the location, very close to Hyannis. Since I go in May not the traffic that occur on rt 28 during the summer. I stay in a room facing an inlet. I like this room very much because I like the light from the sliding glass door facing the back. For the price we paid I thought it was a dump...funky smell and there was empty bottles of soda on the floor.

Spent Sunday night here and left Monday first thing. Surprised to see the hotel charges you in advance with no notice for service of the in room safe. Only noticed on the small label on safe as I was brushing my teeth that you could request a refund of the charge upon checkout. A guest not using and therefore not seeing notice would not get the refund […] for a service not requested or used. Fitted sheets on the king size bed not attached right so all night the sheets were uncomfortably bunched up and I was sleeping on mattress pad. Also several burn holes in the bedspread in the non smoking room. Not a place I will ever stay again. Lesa meira

hotel was comfortable, close by to restaurants and entertainment. room was clean comfortable. We had an upgrade to patio room with playground and bbq in the back.

Hotel was comfortable and clean. Bayview room, great scenery. Staff was friendly and helpful. Would recommend to others.

Nice size room with lots of space to move around. Internet was a little slow. Bathroom was large. Overall, very nice for this type of hotel

We like the area a lot but would probably make another choice for a place to stay next time. The hotel seemed understaffed, rooms were not as clean as they should be. Hot tube pumps didn't work right, whole indoor pool area somewhat run down. The manger seemed in a big hurry to close up the breakfast area, rather than serving his customers.

The room is very small and old. The bathroom, the furniture and doors are all old. However it is reasonably clean. I think for its quality the price is too much.

We stayed two nights so we could take day trips on the ferry to Martha's Vineyard and Nantucket. It is only about a mile away from the ferry so we walked since parking over there is over $15. The walk was a little farther than expected but wasn't too bad and was worth saving the money. The hotel is pretty gross. It is old and they probably cleaned the […] room well but it's so old it just looks dirty. We were only there to sleep and shower though so it wasn't too bad. The breakfast is a joke. There are a few cereal choices, bagels, and a loaf of bread. The bread is still in the bag with no tongs or anything so everyone just touches everything. Some fresh fruit would have been nice. Also, it says you get a complimentary newspaper everyday but it's actually just the free three page paper so don't get too excited about that. On the plus side, the employees were super nice and super helpful and are the only reason I didn't rate the hotel a 1! Lesa meira

From the very start that we came in to check-in, service was a bit disappointing. Front desk was unfriendly. When we went up to find our room, outside our door were two cups of used cups probably left behind by one of the previous occupant or maybe someone who sat in the chairs that were outside the rooms. Most disappointing and most disgusting --- […] YES!! DISGUSTING....was the toilet plunger that was left outside our door. It was a surprise that none of the other guests did not complain....but then again...it was not infront of their room. The room smelt musty. If the room was not pre-paid, we would have left. We were scared to sleep in the bed, but we were too tired. At least we did not stay that long. Then the occupant in the room below us had their music blasting. Two guys were drinking outside the room. The loud music and obnoxious talking and shouting went on for 4 hours all the way to 9 in the evening. Hotel Management did not do anything on this when there were kids staying in the hotel, too. I would NOT recommend this location. DEFINITELY NOT!!! Lesa meira

I enjoyed my stayed here. I only stayed in town for the night and this place was perfect. It was clean and simple which is what we wanted. The price was affordable and reasonable. The pool was nice and so was the hot tub.

The two-queen room is spacious, and has all the basics, but can't really be called comfortable. The mattress was okay but the pillows had no loft to them at all. There was a small round table and just a single chair, and no electric outlet nearby for charging a laptop -- fortunately I always travel with an extension cord. The WiFi signal was strong […] but bandwidth was so limited that it could not handle more than one browser window open at a time. The price is a bargain, but if I had been staying for more than one night I would have probably looked elsewhere and paid a bit more. Lesa meira

Upon walking in the room the first time I notice some trash behind the dresser, dryed soap in the shower, frosted ice cubes in the freezer and the room had a bit of a smell to it. There is a sign in the indoor pool that states they open from 7am--9pm, however when I went to the office at 9:05am and asked when they are going to unlock the doors so we […] can use the pool the person behind the desk said over the last 8 years they always open at 9am and will do me a favor and open the pool for me. She was doing me a favor opening the pool 2 hours and 5 minutes late?? As far as everything else, they keep the outside clean, breakfast was available and keep the breakfast room clean and the most part people worked there were nice. It was ok. They did let us check in an hour early. The pool was clean. The indoor pool was shockingly cold and the hot tub could've been hotter. Don't plan on the hotel breakfast it was not good at all and very small.

The room was tight. I had to ask for and never received towels, I only had 2 for the night for both my husband and myself. The next day I had one wash cloth to share with him. The sheets weren't suppose to be on a king size bed, they were made for a smaller bed. I think this HoJo had a very nice view when looking out the back window out towards the ocean marsh but I felt there should of been a patio so you could further enjoy that view but in all it was an okay place to stay for one night very affordable for a quick stay some upgrades are needed but not major.

The staff was wonderful! The pools were great! It's just an old, tired, motel. Needs a lot of work. Oh, and that arcade they talk about on the site - well, it's not there! The location was terrific (what location isn't on the Cape!) The beds were very uncomfortable and the rugs looked dirty. It was quiet, which I did greatly appreciate.

This motel had certainly seen it's best days many years ago. The room was barely considered clean and the bathroom was the worst. The outdoor pool contained some unidentified floating objects that prevented this guest from getting in on a hot day. The continental breakfast was lacking, as well. The location of the hotel was almost perfect, close to everything the visitor need, but the room comfort was to the minimum. My main complain was that the bed was hard like a rock. Back pain guarantee for those who already having this sort of problem, it just agravates it more. Cheap kind of furniture with cheap kind of bedding and towels. Very helpful desk staff who upgraded us to an upstairs room overlooking the bay for an extra $10 per night which was well worth it for the view & the wildlife. Quiet location with an Italian restaurant serving good, reasonably priced food literally next door to hotel which was very convenient after a day's touring. Room was very clean but tired looking, […] had good facilities. Did not have time to try out indoor swimming pool. Ideal base for catching ferries to Nantucket or short drive to nearby Woods Hole for a cheap ferry crossing to Martha's Vineyard. Lesa meira

We will not stay there again. The pictures online were not at all like the rooms we stayed in. The sheets were dirty, a large spot on the sheets. The carpets were not vacuumed well, especially along the walls. There was mold on the walls and shower curtain in the bathroom and the window screen was popped out when we arrived and the window was open. […] The room came with breakfast, which was a loaf of bread, bagels, cereal and a jar of jelly, very disappointing. decided last minute t head to Cape Cod for a couple of days with the kids. The price was great so we couldn't pass it up. Only thing we had to ask for was more towels since they come standard two to a room and there were 4 of us. A bit of noise one night from banging pipes, but assumed that was from the upgrading work they were doing during the day. […] Pool was clean and my 3 year old loved it. This motel is very tired and faded. The room was reasonable clean and the beds were comfortable but that is the only positive aspect. The continental breakfast was very poor in fact we gave it a miss after our first morning. That said the rate was cheap as it needed to be.
