Platinum Hotel – Las Vegas

My daughter and I really enjoyed the Platinum. We made a last minute decision to go to Las Vegas and I didn't really have a clue where to stay. The Platinum was well rated on Trip Advisor so I decided to go with it. Our room was huge with a full kitchen and separate bedroom with two queen beds with an excellent view. The hotel restaurant was nice as […] well with a pleasant view of their huge swimming pool with a great breakfast menu and good service. We enjoyed the happy hour in the bar on the main level. Great location,which will be realized after a couple of days on the hectic strip.Rooms spacious,separate & large bedroom,kitchen & lounge.Balcony & laundry.We stayed in a solitaire strip view.Service was excellent,not a high profile but popular with business types. Will not disappoint & great value for money.

Amazing amenities for a decent stay. Free Wifi, complimentary valet, a jetted tub and full size kitchen. Plus, a balcony with a strip view! And the indoor pool was great for staying cool under the hot Vegas sun. I'd stay at Platinum hotel again!

the pool was closed all 3 evenings of our stay for special events. Be sure to check on the pool availability before booking. Had I known the pool would be closed I would not have booked at the Platinum. The hotel rooms are nice and good location.

Wonderful stay, third stay in a row & still perfect. Full hotel facilities with a full kitchen of your own. Double spa bath, double sinks & walk in shower. Get a strip view & see the new Ferris wheel being built as well. Easy 5 minute walk to the strip at Ballys. Bills is being remodelled at the moment due to reopen in 2014. See Big Elivis at Harrahs […] with Bills being closed. The spa is very good & the hotel happy hour includes food as well as drinks. Lesa meira

Room was not ready until well after check-in time. Staff was very friendly. The hotel furnishings and the carpets were well worn and stained. Could use a renovation.

The hotel and the staff were great thoughout the visit. The only comment I had regards the confusion associated with whether the hotel has a shuttle or not. Our group was under the impression that a shuttle was available for the airport. We had heard that a shuttle was available for in and around purposes. We were told that a shuttle would be available […] at 4:05 P.M., but when were in the process of departing, no one knew anything about a shuttle. My husband and I spent the weekend here for our wedding. One of the best hotels we've stayed at. The location is conveniently located right off the strip, within walking distance. Our room was amazing! They upgraded ours from the solitaire suite to the princess suite. It's really more like a condo like environment inside the rooms than your average […] hotel rooms. I even had time to do laundry in our room before we left. Make sure you bring some groceries with you if you plan on staying here for more than a day. You'll definitely enjoy the full kitchen right in your room, I know we did. They accept pets as well so that made it easier to have our mini pin in tow for the big day. The staff are equally friendly and very helpful. They only have valet parking though but that made it less stressful if you try to find a parking space on your own. I really liked this hotel. I have stayed at Bellagio and Palazzo before, but this room was great for the price. The room was huge (with a full kitchen, balcony) and I had a laundry inside. My kids enjoyed the open space and gave them the feeling of home.

Nicely situated a 15 minute walk away from the strip. A proper hotel with excellent service. So glad I did not choose one of the themed hotels on the strip

Good non smoking hotel, with good restaurant, beds soft & road noise constant -all day & night ! If you are a light sleeper you will need to ask for a room away from road

The hotel was good value and is about a 10 minute walk to the strip. It is a non gaming non smoking hotel. I was disappointed there was no hairdryer in the bathroom for an otherwise very well appointed hotel and spacious bathrooms. The cold water in the lobby was a nice touch.

Our room was very spacious. The staff was helpful and friendly. We have stayed at the Platinum for 5 years in a row and will be back next year!

This was the first time I stayed at platinum hotel and I absolutely loved it! The staff was more then friendly and helpful. For example I asked the front desk girl if she knew how to get to Fremont street she didn't just tell me but she printed out directions for me! I was pleasantly surprised for that gesture :) I will plan all my future trips here […] ! And I also found out my brother in law is getting married there next year! Thank you for a great stay! A fairly nice hotel except we didn't know it was valet-only parking and although it's supposed to be complementary, I felt obligated to tip them every time we had to leave or return to the hotel; it was a major added expense!

Nice place.not really what we were looking for coming to Vegas tho.its a nice clean hotel but we were looking for more of a service oriented place, they didnt really have alot of services at the hotel. but the room was awesome and couldnt beat it for the price.

We love The Platinum. Service by hotel staff is great and full kitchen, sitting room area and separate bedroom is exactly the type of room we enjoy. Since we drive to Vegas, the location is not an issue for us. The hotel is in need of updating but I understand that renovations are planned.

> rooms are ok, large + kitchen , fridge > restaurant and bar in lobby are ok, but service is slow (especially food) > toilet problem, no flush, but maintenance guy is quick to fix it > main desk ok, friendly and efficient > not noisy, no casino or shopping inside, just plain basic hotel > overall: good, with room for improvement

We loved the hotel. The room was wonderful as was the services. We thought the food for breakfast and lunch was really good. Everyone was so very friendly. We will go there next time we are in Las Vegas. We prefer a non-casino hotel - no smoking and quiet.

We have stayed many times at this hotel because of business. We find the rooms spacious and adequate, but it is no longer the hotel that earned its recognition from TripAdvisor as one of the top 3 hotels in Vegas. We love so many things about this hotel and have to say that it is still a good value for your money. We love the staff who always make us […] feel welcome, the non-gaming no smoking environment, the free valet parking, the onsite restaurant, indoor outdoor pool, exercise room and spa. Best hotel just off the strip. Use valet parking which is free and excellent happy hour from 4 to 8 on drinks and light meals. Recommend using restaurant for breakfast, if you don't cook yourself in kitchen with every facility. Prices of restaurant lower than you will find on the Strip

We liked the hotel. Location: a little far from the strip, but we knew that when we booked. We liked the kitchenette, rooms were nice, but worn. Our room smelled like fish. Maintenance tried to help with deodorizer, but is still stayed, so we received a $25. food credit, which was nice, but still did not fix the problem. We weren't informed about the […] location of the restaurant or other places to eat close to the hotel, or happy hours, or the pool, or anything when we checked in and we 'overheard' the girl at the desk three days later, telling someone else some of this information as they were checking in. Overall, the price was really high for what we got. The cleaning crew, maintenance were very nice and friendly. And the Valets were awesome. Front desk, mmmm so-so. Lesa meira

The hotel had a very nice appearance. However, this slightly fell apart when you looked closely in the rooms. The room was VERY large, almost too big. The room was also very clean and well taken care of, until we saw the room in the morning with sunlight coming through the windows. It appeared that they had repainted the ceiling and got paint all over […] the upper part of the wall. The "heated" pool and hot tub were both almost air temperature, neither was 80 degrees. This was one of the reasons that we chose this hotel. All that aside, the it was a very nice hotel and a very good experience. This time we ventured into the Well Spa and we are hooked! We can't wait to return. The Spa is very reasonably priced and relaxing - I love it! As usual the food was great - room service is fast and the quality good. I really like the Kilowat restaurant (breakfast & lunch only) but it's usually empty and I don't understand why - seriously love it! Oh […] well at least we don't have to wait for a table. I was advised through reviews to not pay for the best room but get an upgrade so unlike the first booking I tried it and when checking in asked if there were any upgraded rooms available...much to my chagrin no upgrades available! This hotel was clean, staff was friendly, helpful, and the hotel location was perfect for a family with small children. Perfect for visiting the strip, but far enough a way to enjoy some quiet times.

This is the 4th year running that my friends and I have stayed here on our annual weekend trip. The hotel has been consistently good the entire time. We don't use a lot of the amenities, but we like the condo style rooms and we usually spend some time in the bar downstairs. We were put in a room where we could hear the cars in the parking garage go over speed bumps. All through the night you just heard thump, thump. Had to have maintenance fix the light switch because the lights would not shut off. Shower would get hot and then cool down on its own.
