Overall the hotel service was great - people were very polite and professional. The one exception was that the room service was expensive and the food was not very good. My mini-fridge didn't work. The Silverline bus from the airport to the WTC station was free and convenient. There are no grocery stores of any kind near the hotel. Restaurants only. […] So perhaps not a great area for families. I loved the hotel. They are energy conscious and will give you a $5 food voucher if you skip housekeeping service for the day. The restaurants serve excellent food. The hotel is clean and modern. The room was the largest I have stayed in while in Boston. I wish there were more direct connections to the T. We had to change trains multiple times to get to any destination and the closest, the silver line closes in the evening and converts to a bus. If you are looking for a good location for the Seaport District it's fine but DO NOT order off the lobby bar menu. We ordered a scallop dish and the scallops were tough, the "specially seasoned" french fries we no better than McDonald's and the duck confit was too fatty and basically tasteless. The service was good but it took the bartender forever […] to make drinks with basically noone at the bar. And, when I asked him something about the hotel itself, his answer was, "it sucks". I stayed at the Westin for the PAX East 2013 convention. The hotel is impressive. They have multiple restaurants and bars, lots places to relax and the rooms are very nice. It's the perfect place to stay for any convention at the BCEC. You don't even have to go outside to get from the hotel to the center.

Just an impeccably clean and quality hotel. Service was excellent at the desks. The restaurant was surprisingly good for a hotel restaurant. We would have gladly stayed a few more days.

Upon arrival I had a small cut on my finger; the concierge immediately got me a first aid kit. I was then in need of non-down pillows at 1 am (as I realized that is why I had an allergy) and was promptly greeted with a smile new pillows and comforter. Everyone had a smile even the guests. Hotel was very nice and convenient to the adjacent Expo center and beautiful redone Shore Drive. Parking was a bit procy for guests. Would stay again for sure

Westin Waterfront knows they own the market for the BCEC. After numerous incidents happening and no hotel staff even caring it just show there is no customer service here. They don't care and know you will come back year after year because they are attached to the BCEC. Avoid hotel at all costs if possible.

We absolutely love staying at the Westin. We have kids and the pool is great! So convenient to the children's museum and a quick cab ride downtown. We have stayed at the marriot long wharf before but always came back to the Westin. It's a better price and in my opinion much nicer than the marriot. We had 2 grandsons, 7 and 17, with us, and they really enjoyed the pool. The dining room was too expensive for us, but the concierge was helpful in finding a more reasonable place nearby for breakfast. we appreciated our view from the window.

I was visiting Boston with my granddaughter and daughter. We needed a refrigerator and bed rails for my granddaughter and they immediately brought what we needed to our room.They also brought a Westin Kids bag of goodies for my granddaughter which made her very happy!

only thing that was kinda weird was that housekeeping knocked and came in real early...8am early...check out wasent till 11 I believe.Other then that I was very satisfied!

Located in Boston's Waterfront, away from shopping and tourist sites. Next door to one of Boston's newest convention centers. Hotel is wonderful, but wouldn't recommend for tourists or families, strictly a business area, somewhat isolated.

The bar in the Lobby was horrible. The one bartender working it could not take care of the 5 customers he had. 15 min to get a beer and my wife didn't get her wine. We were waiting for our seat to be available at MJ o'connors. I didnt get to finish my beer because I had to wait so long and our table was available. The food was very good at MJ O'connors. […] The server came over very fast and I was happy because of the bar experience. after the food was delivered I didn't see the waitress for another 1/2 hour to 45 min. The room was very good including the pool and fitness area. My wife asked for a comb or brush via the phone to the front desk and they delivered a dog bed....ok. So when we had booked we were told that Parking was free.. I thought that was odd and great at the same tim considering it is Boston. The next morning when leaving I try to leave the garage and it cost me $35.00. WOW!! I tryed to explain to the front desk I was told it was free over the phone but they didn't care very much. I should have stayed at motel 8 in Braintree. Lesa meira

Standard Westin experience -- clean & comfortable rooms, good service, etc. One thing that still gets me is the WiFi cost. I know it's minor and there's a infrastructure cost associated with it but come on! The Seaport Hotel in this same area is just as nice and has free wifi and will get my business in the future. While the lobby and other public areas are in good condition and modern the individual bedrooms are a little tired and could do with a refresh. Other than that the service was excellent, apart from my first visit to the restaurant for breakfast when the service was very slow and the selection poor.

This was our third stay at the Westin Boston Waterfront. The hotel is absolutely beautiful in both decor and cleanliness. The staff has always been very accommodating with late check-ins and check-outs, requests for a refrigerator in the room, etc. At our most recent stay, we were given a handicap accessible room which basically meant that the room […] was much larger than typical and that there were metal bars in the bathroom. Another perk was that the room had a beautiful city view -- much nicer than when we paid for the city view room in the past! My only complaint was that the water pressure was much lower than I remembered, and the shower in the accessible room did not have the heavenly double shower head. The hotel also has a nice pool and hot tub, however on this visit I was noticing a little bit of mold or dirt around the hot tub which grossed me out a bit. We were finally able to dine at the City Bar, which was surprisingly very small but had the same menu as MJ O'Connors. There is also a small bar in the lobby called Birch Bar which was also open on NYE and the seasonal cocktails are to die for! Absolutely loved the shaken creme brulee. There is one last restaurant called Sauciety which is open for breakfast however we have not dined there -- it costs somewhere around $25 for a continental breakfast! There is free wifi in the lobby, however they want you to pay for both wireless and wired internet in the rooms. Lesa meira

WE checked in during the storm and the front desk was very curtious. Once we came down to get a taxi they helped us out right away.

While the bed was comfortable I must say I was not able to sleep due to the fire alarm light flashing like a disco ball in my room. While I understand it was a safety precaution, it prevented me from getting to sleep. Also the bathroom was relatively clean but the toilet could have used a good scrubbing. You could see the mildrew in the bowl.

This hotel is gorgeous. I go to Boston every year and this was by far the nicest I've stayed in. Very inexpensive too, compared to most hotels in the area. They also let us check in 9 hours early after a long overnight bus ride. Very friendly staff too!

After flying into Boston on a late flight, I arrived at my room to find a completely empty fridge (no mini bar). I called room service multiple times to request water and there was no answer. No answer at the concierge desk either. After a while, I decided to call reservations, assuming they would pick up, and they did. Finally, after being in the room […] for over an hour, I was able to settle in with water. The next morning, I was happy to see that they offered in-room Starbucks coffee, only there was no sugar or creamer - but they did have two stir sticks (not sure what that was for).
