Hotel Urbis – Róm

Hotel is located very closer to the central termini station and it is very handy for travel around. Rooms are not very clean and air con/heater and the TV is not working even though it is listed as features under the listing. Hotel staff was not very helpful when request to fix them. I'll start off by saying its a good location for things you need: restaurants, markets, and most forms of transportation. Unfortunately, if you like somewhere quiet to sleep, this isn't the best place: It's located right above a bar, and people like to stay up late around here. The bathroom was ok, and luckily we had our own but some rooms have to make […] do with a shared one. We frequently ran out of hot water. The internet was spotty in the room so I would have to sit out in the lobby to get a good connection. The bed was terrible, it was more spring than mattress. The walls are super thin. And to top it off, we were charged a room tax as we were leaving of 2 euro /person / night, and the guy added it up wrong and asking for 8 euro extra (I don't know if it was on purpose or if he was still groggy from us waking him from his nap. We did resolve it, however). I don't know about the condition of surrounding hotels, so I don't know if this is sub par for the area or not, but I would suggest looking elsewhere first. Lesa meira

The hotel did lack attention to detail, but the room was clean with fresh sheets and a refresh of towels daily. Going on a budget, it was perfect for our needs,the rate was inexpensive and it was located across from the main train station. The fact that this hotel is right by the train station in Rome is the only good thing I can say about it. It is a dump! The lift is so tiny that there was barely enough room for me, my husband, one suitcase and one bag! It reminded us of a coffin! To make matters worse the doors wouldn't open on the second floor, where the hotel is situated, so we had […] to go back down a floor and carry the luggage up a flight of stairs. The reception area was clean and tidy, as was the room but the TV wouldn't work, despite the receptionists best efforts, there wasn't enough hot water in the evening for both of us to shower and the only hairdryer in the hotel was broken. Overall, this hotel was a pretty good hotel. It was located very close (right across the street) from the train station, so there was a lot of foot traffic on the street both night and day. There was no air conditioning in the room athough the heat was not excessive for the middle of July, at least it didn't feel as horrible as July in NJ can be! They […] did provide a fan to circulate air, unfortunately ours didn't work :-( Since there was no air conditioning, the windows needed to stay open, so the noise from the street was a little excessive for sleeping conditions (not only were there people, but the street cleaner came down the street at 3 AM!). The hotel was conveniently located for access to the metro, which is how my husband and I travelled to the attractions of Rome. There were plenty of restaurants close to the hotel as well. Overall, our stay was a good one. The desk staff spoke enough English to communicate and the room was clean and kept. It's a good choice for traveler who prefer to stay nearby the railway station. We save a lot of time in travel and walking.

I would like for anyone who plans on staying here to be prepared to pay extra for additional services such as a/c, T.v., and even if they do not have the room you book available. I was forced to pay extra for a room that i did not book upon check in to later be removed from that room and placed in a different room that was no where close to my reservation, […] to top it off the person at the front desk only spoke Italian, who insisted that we we wrong when i can clearly read English. I also witness upon check in that a guest needed a light bulb for their night light so that they can read the man at the front desk was extreamly rude to them in front of us and told him he would have to wait untill the next day( common sense is that they will not need the light bulb in the morning) i would not recommend staying here, if their was a way to get my money back i would..... The only good thing is its location. only a few english speaking staffs. For our three night staying here (unlucky), hot water was out for one night because the warming machine was off. The other night, even though it was on, still had no hot water (I think the machine is not powerful enough). Couldn't even complain because they don't understand English. Room was hot, no AC Roaches present in the bathroom Shower head not functioning properly.

The only good thing about this hotel is that it is a block away from the central train station. The nicest part of the hotel is the lobby. The room we stayed in had no A/C the outlets didn't work so we couldn't charge our camera. The beds ar probably from the 1930's and we would sink about a foot when we layed in them. The Hotel is literally outside the Roma Centrale train station. The hotel has a great location. Is on the second floor of the building. Shared bathroom was alright. The shower was missing 2 doors. Very small shower. The rooms do not have air conditioning and are very hot. You can't really keep the doors open due to the fact that there is alot of street […] noise. There were no beds in the room, only iron divans ( if you can call them divans because there were broken wooden planks under the matrasses to support the broken springs !!! ). Very expensive for quality: run down, worn out facility. Loud until early AM hours. Shower is not contained but worn out wrap around curtain with drain in middle of floor. Outside shutters broken and open with loud kitchen below. No ventilation. Only pluses are free internet in reception and half a block from Termini but you don't want to be in the […] room. The hotel was in a good location just outside the train station and the staff were helpful and friendly. Having a computer in the lobby with IT access was convenient. However, the walls were scuffed, the window sills were in bad need of cleaning and the mattress too worn for a good night's sleep.

THis place was disgusting! it was not clean.....someone had thrown up in the bathroom and it took 24 hours to be cleaned up. I had to go use the bathroom in the train station because the smell alone was awful!!! the service was awful. It's good but one bath room for all rooms.

Great location, near subway & sights. Bathroom smallest ever. Sink 2 inches from shower, toilet 8 inches away, bathroom 2.5 feet wide. Smallest ever for Europe. 5th floor, no lift. ONE outlet in room, none in bathroom. Hotel entry shared with public internet / business center.

All in all was a good hotel. Wifi worked in one corner of the room. Charge to hold bags after check out since our flight was later in the day.

The hotel is a nice little hotel near the train station and the metro. Very useful for getting to all the sites of Rome and easy to get back to after a long day of site seeing. The staff are friendly and welcoming. But the receptionist after dark did not speak much if any english so have a phrase book ready. Das Hotel liegt sehr günstig, Zimmer war relativ sauber, jedoch hatten wir am 1.Tag kein Warmwasser und die weiteren 3 Tage auch nur lauwarmes Wasser, wenn wir zeitig genug am Zimmer waren. Die Klospülung funktionierte überhaupt nicht, etwaige Bedürfnisse konnte man schwer verrichten. (Problem !)

Das Hotel liegt sehr zentral und darum perfekt um alles schnell zu erreichen. Das Personal war sehr hilfsbereit.

Hotellet ligger få skridt fra centralstationen. Personalet, som var imødekommende, forstod og talte engelsk. Værelset var noget slidt, man kunne f.eks. mærke fjedrene i sengen i ryggen. Vinduet mod gaden var støjdæmpet. Alt i alt o.k. til prisen.

Ett billigt hotell, 150 meter från Termini. Perfekt läge när man kommer med bussarna från flygplatsen. Nära till kommunikationer. Dock något slitet och ruffigt. Är inte värt mer än sina två stjärnor. Man får vad man betalar för.

Urbis on kätevästi aivan Terminin vieressä, siitä on hyvät jatkoyhteydet ympäri Roomaa. Hotelli oli pieni ja siisti. Henkilökunta oli erittäin ystävällistä ja auttavaista. Kuumaa vettä sai odotella välillä, muttei se haitannut, vettä tuli lopulta. Huone oli pieni ja kompakti (kolmen hengen huone omalla kylpyhuoneella), ihan hyvä kahden tähden hotelli. […] Aamiaista oli helppo hakea terminissä olevata ruokakaupasta ja espressot pystyi ostamaan myös terministä. Bom hotel, não oferece café da manhã nem outros tipos de serviço, mas é mutio próximo da Estação Termini que lhe dá acesso a todos os pontos da cidade. Pelo custo benefício valeu muito a pena!

Hotel klos op ad banegård og derfor centralt beligende i forhold til al bytransport, men også noget råt kvarter. Men: Dårlige senge/madresser - selv vedhotellets forholdsmæssigt billige nivea. Defekt kontakt på badeværelse. Problem med udskylning på toilet. Hotellets computer/internet dur ikke, men wifi skulle være tilgængelig hvis man selv har med. Slår […] sig op på at være ikke-ryger-hotel - med store skilte flere steder. Alligevel accepteres det / skrides der ikke ind, når kunder alligevel ryger. Man får bare besked på at tale med management og at man evt. flytte værelse. Men hvis folk også bare ryger deromkring er man jo ligevidt.... Altså: en noget blandet oplevelse Lesa meira

Ca 20 rum som delar på 2 toaletter och 1 dusch. Vår "dubbelsäng" bestod av 2 resesängar i metall med fjädrar som stack upp i ryggen. Rummen var extremt lyhörda och TVn från receptionen hördes hela natten samt de andra gästernas natt-aktiviteter... Kvarteret som det ligger i har nära till de flesta sevärdheter. Men i efterhand hade jag hellre bott längre […] bort från centrum, Termini (som vi i efterhand läste i guideboken INTE rekommenderas pga prostitution och kriminalitet). Lokalizacja bardzo dobra, bliskość węzła komunikacyjnego Termini-2 minuty. Telewizor w pokoju był-ale nie działał i w ciągu całego pobytu pracownicy nie rozwiązali problemu. Obiekt dawno nie odnawiany.

Hotel pequeño, con personal muy amable. Limpio. Muy bien situado en el centro de Roma, a distancia para caminar hasta los principales puntos de interés. Con facilidades de transporte público cerca.

テルミニ駅に近いけど、Wi-Fiがロビーから離れるとほとんど使えなかったし、シャワーとトイレが一緒でしかもその階に一つしかなかったと思います。テレビも使えなかったです。

Please delete Hotel Urbis from your list! When we got the room, we noticed that it was filthy as if the room hasn't been cleaned up for months and we could plug in our camera. Nothing was working. So even though the room was paid for, we have decided to find another place and it was the best decision ever. The price at Urbis is way too high for that […] kind of filthy place. For a little bit more you can find a place so much better than this. The rooms don't look like the pictures they are showing up on the web site. Et simpelt, lille hotel tæt på togstation og al off transport i/til/fra Rom. Gå afstand til stort set alt. God og venlig service, der forstår og taler ok engelsk. Meget små værelser, men hvis man som os bare skulle have et sted at sove og central beliggenhed, så er der alt hvad man skal bruge og det var rent.

Das Hotel liegt in absoluter Ruhelage, in einer schmalen Seitengasse, nicht einmal 1 Minute vom Hauptbahnhof entfernt. Einen riesigen Komfort kann man sich nicht erwarten, aber dafür es ist äußerst günstig. In unmittelbarer Umgebung gibt es jede Menge Restaurants. Für Personen, die keine hohen Ansprüche stellen und ihr Geld lieber für Land und Leute […] und fürs Einkaufen ausgeben möchten, und ist es jedenfalls sehr empfehlenswert!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Si cet hotel n'a rien d un hotel, c est une auberge de jeunesse. nous avions reservé une chambre double et nous nous sommes retrouvés avec 4 lits dans la chambre, vraiment tres romantique! Les chambres sont obscures et mal décorées de plus il y avait une odeur d urine dans les toilettes. le personnel de l hotel n etait pas tres sympathique et n a meme […] pas ete capable de nous expliquer ou se trouvait l arret du bus touristique. bref, tres decus de ce lieu, convient a des jeunes qui ne portent pas d importance au lieu dans lequel ils dorment Lesa meira

Hotel vecchiotto ma la stanza era pulita. L'unico incoveniente e' che sarebbe stato preferibile sapere che se si voleva l'aria condizionata c'era un'ammontare in aggiunta al prezzo concordato. Se devi seguire un budget e vuoi essere vicino alla stazione, va benissimo. Di certo non aspettare di trovare un hotel da 5 stelle....ne ha due, dopo tutto.

Esse hotel é para dormir, não tem conforto algum e nem café da manhã. A única coisa que salva é a localização muito boa, ao lado da estação de trem de Roma. la verdad esperaba un poco mas pero pues por el precio que se puede esperar el elvador es de pelicula de terror el baño jamas lo limpian y el internet no existe mas que en el loby y si lo quieres usar de noche el cuidador te maldice en inteliano y te manda a dormir ¬¬

Ea un hostel y de pesima calidad ogre en desayuno y no es cierto lo peor en que me he hospedado! Lo Siento no lo recommend para nada

Det er ikk det bedste hotel i Rom, men når man tænker på prisen er det 100% acceptabelt. 3 ud af 4 taler fint enegelsk og de hjælper en så godt de kan. Der er en seng og et bord og andre småting. Det er jo alt man skal bruge på storbyferie. Man skal dog ikke benytte sig af det hotel hvis man forventer at bruge tid på hotellet. Det skal kun bruges til […] at sove på og slappe af i sengen. Der er funktionelt tv (så man kan se tour de france) :) og der er computer i receptionen så man kan tjekke sin mil og lign.. Alt i alt god oplevelse og fantastisk by Lesa meira
