Hótelið er nokkuð vel staðsett góðar samgöngur frá hótelinu í miðbæ.Starfsfólk er mjög þægilegt og framkoma góð og hjálplegt.

A very good hotel with great staff... The hotel is clean, very well priced per night. The bar is expensive but not more than other hotels in athens... The only thing bad i can say about the hotel is its location... Its is located kinda on a crossroads of good and then not so good area... So you need to becareful where you go so you dont end up in places you dont want to enter...

Athens’ port since the fifth century BC, Piraeus today is an industrial affair, eight kilometres southwest of the centre. Ferries, catamarans and hydrofoils connect to the islands, and cruise ships doing the Mediterranean circuit stop here. The pretty fishing harbour of Mikrolimano is lined with seafood eateries, and the circular bay of Pasalimani filled with luxury yachts.

Helpful desk staff and in an area for walking to shops and restaurants. Not a tourist area. We enjoyed the atmosphere of a Greek neighborhood with local shops and eateries. Hotel restaurant was fair for a simple dinner, staffed by one gentleman who was both bartender and waiter. It was a quick and simple taxi ride to the cruise port the next day.
"Most enjoyable: the excellent service"
When we arrived at the hotel the personnel was courteous and knowledgeable. They took time to attend to all our needs and gave us excellent advice with respect to activities in the neighborhood as well as with regard to our travel plans. Hence I would recommend this hotel for their excellent service and the kindness of their staff.
"Great place for the money"
This hotel is located in Piraeus, just blocks from the port. The hotel was a third the cost of a hotel in Athens and, although further away, cost less to taxi to the airport. They have a decent continental breakfast that includes eggs, bacon and/or sausage. Transportation to all the sites in Athens is available everywhere. Highly recommend.

Excellent staff, efficient Aircon, good food. Very handy for the Ferries. Immediate surrondings are uninspiring.

Just a one nighter after a cruise before going on to Athens. This place was recommended through my husband's work .. it's where the company send their employees when on business in Athens. Took a taxi from Pireaus port .. well worth it with two cases! Great staff on reception, fluent English, very smart and helpful. Lovely clean room with nice toiletries […] provided. The road is off the main drag but in a good position for getting to places. We walked everywhere but loads of taxis and public transport. Will be going back to this hotel when we go back to do more of the Greek Islands :-) Lesa meira
"Not Horrible, But There Are Better Hotels"
I'm not sure if the hotel has been affected by the overall economic problems in Greece, but my guess is that it has. There were a number of lights in the hallway that needed to be replaced, particularly by the room where I was staying. The room was clean, but had no desk. They offer both wifi and wired internet access for a fee, but it did not work […] very well. The thing I found most objectionable was the way the shower was set up. instead of the taps and the hand held shower head being at the end of the tub, both were in the middle. The tube itself was very narrow. The set up meant that you could have the shower going and attached to the wall without the water shooting out horizontally, rather than down onto you. You had to remove it from the wall, get yourself wet, put it down, soap up, and then pick it back up to rinse yourself. Not very well thought out.. The staff in the hotel were extremely nice and helpful though. They also seem to have a pretty decent gym. Lesa meira
"Nice hotel"
Nice hotel, but in a business area so not much to do. Restaurants are in short supply, but a great one just down the same road. Hotel Restaurant was unattractive and over priced. We chose not to eat there. Rooms are comfortable. Staff were pleasant.
"Stop Over"
As stop over prior to joining a cruise ship at Piraeus this hotel is fine. Only 5 minutes from the passenger terminal. The surrounding area is not great but we were only there one night. We'd arranged taxi transfer from the airport to the hotel - all exactly as expected.
"Nice place close to the port"
We stayed at this hotel because there was a tourism strike during our trip and we couldn't leave for Mykonos until the next day. Our hotel in Athens was fully booked, so we stayed at the Theoxenia so we'd be closer to the port. The hotel was perfect for what we wanted. The hotel staff was incredibly friendly. We wanted to go to a beach to pass the time […] that day and the bell boy ended up being incredibly helpful. He lived in Chicago for a good part of his early life and his English was excellent. He was a great source of information. He told us how to take public transportation to get to the beaches in Athens. When we were ready to go we asked the front desk to point us in the right direction of the train. One of the reservation ladies was walking that way anyway so she took us all the way there. She helped us buy our tickets and made sure we knew where we were going. She was incredibly helpful - I believe her name was Efi. I don't know if I would stay in the hotel as my primary hotel in Athens (not close to much else besides the port) but it was perfect for what we needed and the staff could not have been more professional and helpful. Cet hôtel cinq étoiles est confortable et assez bien situé. En revanche, ma chambre était petite, le petit déjeuner était basique, et le restaurant, très cher, est à éviter. Connexion internet payante.

部屋はきれいで、雰囲気のある部屋でした。 ただし、駅やバス停から少し距離があること、 ５つ星にしてはインテリア、掃除面で多少５つ星の名には劣るかなと思いますが、価格とは見合っていると思います。（４つ星であれば、大満足ですし、評価は上がったとは思います。） ただし、ここの朝食は非常に素晴らしく、今回の旅行のどの滞在ホテルよりも充実し、おいしかったです。 ピレウスということで、朝早い船便で出発の方もみえるかもしれませんが、ここに泊るのならぜひ朝食を食べてから出かけたほうがよいと思います。

Supert! Fin størrelse på rommet, god frokost, deilige morgenkåper og tøfler på rommet, fin bar, gode muligheter for å trene, hyggelig betjening. Hotellet har perfekt beliggenhet hvis man skal ta båt videre til en av de greske øyene.
"Piraeus Theoxenia Hotel"
Ett perfekt övernattningshotell mellan båt och flyg. Hög standard, trevlig personal och bara ca 500 m från båtarna. Dessutom ligger det i ett av Pireus (få) trevligare delar. Vi kom fram 12 på natten - allt funkade perfekt med incheckning och betalning - för att sedan ge oss av efter frukost dagen därpå. Rekommenderas!
