fantastic hotel in the right location, even although it s right in the hub of patong beach, you feel as if you are miles away, staff were lovely and polite, great hotel for families and couples,plenty of sun lounges, great pools, drinks at the pool were a little expensive, we would definitely go back

Great resort. Very close to Bangla road, but far enough away to not hear it at night. Swim-up bars in both pools are nice, and the bartenders are great (ask them about their card tricks!). We stayed in Westin resort bay resort for 3 nights and then stayed in Banthai beach resort for 3 nights.We were given a room on the ground floor.The view from the room blocked out by the tall wall beside the pool.Lots of mosquitoes with lots of blood marks from dead mosquitoes on the walls.Asked for upgrade of the room but never got one.Staff sprayed […] repellant in the room every evening but mosquitoes re entered every time we opened the doors.Ended up having had to buy a mosquito repellant that had to be put on all the time. Great hotel and in a great location to experience the craziness that is Parong! Check in was smooth, with welcome drink and cool towels. We were upgraded to a suite, and if I was to book this hotel again I would either book this room or pool access. Pool access is handy because it can be very hot when out walking around the shops etc and it's nice to […] come back to your room and get straight in the pool. Our room was very large and had a great lounge area, bedroom and bathroom. 4 complementary bottles of water per day and the in room minbar was the cheapest of the 3 hotels we stayed in on Phuket. A bottle of water from the minibar 10 baht and a beer about 45 baht (almost not worth walking to the seven 11 for supplies). The hotel has 3 nice pools each with their own swim up bar. Port restaurant also offers good value food. We ate there and used the 3 hotel bars frequently. We also booked airport transfer through the hotel (I emailed in advance to arrange pick up), this was all very esy and cost 950 bht Lesa meira

Hotel management was not too friendly. Had to move rooms in the middle of my stay because the room I reserved and paid for (lower cost and lower class) was not available. Very inconvenient to have to arrange this move and took the hotel management a long time to arrange the move in the middle of the day. Hotel management was not accommodating at all. […] Hotel seems average at best in terms of quality. Amenities in the room and bathroom fixtures were poor. Hotel needs investment and updating. Very expensive hotel, everything is extra, Internet is extremely expensive, buy it at Starbucks instead. Rooms are not all that clean and it's very loud with rowdy Aussies. Location is amazing, right downtown Patong Beach so it's worth it just for the location alone. One of the more reputable hotels in the area as many can be shady at best.

The hotel is near all of the action takes in Patong such as Bangalore Road, Patong Beach. Nice spot were you can go with kids and it was peaceful without any noise. Everything was good except for the breakfast which was overpriced and you could get better breakfasts just walking down the streets.

Great location and extremely friendly staff all round, from receptionists to porters and mgt staff. The security staff are the ones who stole the limelight from the rest! I never failed to get a salute from each and every one of them during my stay, regardless of the no of times i passed them. Most memorable and outstanding was the security svc they […] provided beyond the scope of duties. My son was pick pocketed by a transvestite, about 200m away from the hotel. When i confronted 'her', one of the security, (names not allowed here!), on finding out i was a guest of the hotel rushed to assist me confront and apprehended the transvestite. It was not his job as hotel security, but state police's. But if one was doing his normal scope of duties, then one is at most ordinary. This was extraordinary and i need to mention this and commend the security for the extra mile they went for me. Will definitely come back to stay at the hotel! Lesa meira

Stayed here for two nights and was really disappointed with the quality of the hotel for the price. Beds were so uncomfortable and as hard as stone and there was a lot of noise coming from cheap nasty cabaret bands in the bars on beach road.

Overall, very happy with Hotel. Location is very central and though this was handy, became a little annoying as when you step out of hotel on to the street, very busy all the time. Outside of that, very impressed and satisfied.

Right in patong beach, close to everything you need. I was surprised at the beach - it was actually gorgeous even by my standards... The pool bar drinks were quite cheap and the staff were all lovely - especially the pool bar staff! we had the deluxe pool room, but not on the pool 5 steps back from it...The rooms are identical to the ones on the pool […] but if your willing to take 4-5 steps to get into the pool and still have a gorgeous pool view from your room Id suggest paying the 150 a night less and get the 4-5 step to pool, pool room. Close to shopping, a quick walk to bangla road and the nightlife, taxis readily available... Banthai is in a great location, right in the hub of things across from the beach. The Staff were very friendly and could not do enough for you. They kept the premises very clean. The pools were beautiful with frangipanis surrounding them. Wouldn't hesitate to stay there again.

Over all this hotel rates with the best available in Phuket. Central location , Good layout , Clean rooms. The beds are very firm however this is the only drawback.

This hotel was everything we wanted and needed in crazy Patong. Its far away enough from the main crazy street Bangla Rd. The beach is across the road. The pool is great with bar staff who are very friendly and made our stay fun with great drinks and good music at the swim up bar. The funny part of the rooms is that the wash basin is in the room and not in the shower/toilet area so one always have to come out of the loo to wash hands. The location is just fantastic , you have all the major food joints like Pizza company ,Mc Donalds, hagen Daaz, right at the entrance of the hotel.

Hotellet noe slitt ift inntrykket man får fra bildene. Ganske små rom selv ved superior rom. Veldig hyggelig service da jeg fikk oppgradert rom til en rimelig penge. Suitene romslige og fine, men liten balkong trakk litt ned. Mye støy fra pool-barene.

位置方便, 行幾步路就到海灘. 大堂幾開揚, staff非常親切, 叫佢地幫手都好快手, 泳池size一般唔細, 但因為人少, 所以感覺好好. 雖然近食肆, 但隔音幾ok., 訓得好舒服. 房間設施有少少舊, 水少少黃, 但優點好過缺點, 下次黎會再住.

以前このホテルの近くを予約したのですが、値段は一緒ぐらいでしたが、ホテル内が薄暗く、パトンの中心でもあるため騒がしく、騒音はを覚悟で予約したのですが、結構静かで夜のライトアップもなかなかいい感じでした。日本人スタッフも常駐していますので、旅行なれしていない人でも、情報収集しやすいのではないでしょうか。 気になったのが、部屋に入る通路が整備不足かな？おしいな～！

Lot of noice from moing furniture chairs on stone-floor. Cleaning ladies come too early in morning. Bad curtains, not possible to get dark in room. Booked Limo did not come. We booked a car at the Hotel service to Airport the day before we should leave. The car did not come! The reception just told us to wait and be calm, "it will come very soon". […] After waiting over half an hour, we got upset. Then the reception told a bell-boy to drive us.
