{couple from US, ages 58 & 67} An easy 5-7 min. walk (at most) with luggage from the train station if you exit the station onto via Marsala. DO NOT EXIT through the front where the busses and taxis are all located. To hotel: Leave the station by exiting onto via Marsala (NOT THE FRONT OF THE STATION), cross the street & walk down ONE block, turn LEFT […] at next street (via Magenta) and hotel is up two blocks on LEFT. Look up and the sign "Hotel New York" is just above the YES Hotel entrance. Ring the bell and they'll let you in. The area is safe, even if you have small children or an elderly person traveling with you. The staff could NOT be more helpful and their English is EXCELLENT! The lift could hold about 3-4 people and was in excellent working order. Free, quick internet in the lobby; must pay if using in your room. The room is on the small side, but has a safe, refrig., GOOD A/C and an adequate shower, although small. (fyi: For those that cruise, the shower is the same size as the one on Allure of the Seas, which means it is not that big. My husband is 5'11 but did ok with it.) The room is very clean, fresh smelling and shower soap is provided. Breakfast is more than enough. Ham, salami, cheese, warm scrambled & hard boiled eggs, yogurt, cereal, juices, milk, coffee/tea, bread, rolls, tomatoes, cucumbers and fresh pastries which are constantly replenished. There is free Americano coffee 24/7. There are good places to eat within 1-3 blocks from the hotel. Lesa meira

Very nice, comfortable hotel. Service was great and very helpful. Breakfast was awful but it is included so no love lost, besides there are wonderful cafes very close by. The location is convenient because it is only 2 blocks away from Termini Station. This makes it very easy to travel to the airport and the metro.

Had an excellent stay. Hotel location superb - minutes from main train Station and most sights within easy walking distance. Hotel itself was great value for money , exceptionally clean and comfortable.Very good breakfast. Would not hesitate to recommend to anyone

I stayed here the last night before my morning flight out of Fiumicino. A two minute walk from Termini station, it is very convenient, although the surrounding neighborhood is a little seedy especially at night (would recommend arriving before 9pm). What a pleasant surprise. We did not expect such a modern and comfortable hotel in that area. The people at the desk we so so helpful and courteous and the location of the hotel just couldnt have been any better. Great breakfast too. Very friendly and helpful reception staff, a good breakfast and a very large room (a quadruple) with full sized bathroom and bath. The hotel is 3 minutes walk from Termini and handy for the hop on, hop off bus. Also walking distance to the Trevi Fountain (about 20 minutes). We lucked out and had a great deal with this hotel. It is by the train station, making it a convenient grounding spot for seeing Rome and even for day trips out of Rome. It's not in the rush of things, which I think helped with pricing. The best part was the breakfast included - it was a very hearty spread (including fresh fruit and salted meats) which […] allowed us to take snacks with us while exploring the city. Wonderful hotel. Location is a block from the train station. Entire hotel is newly renovated in a very modern style. There are many excellent restaurants nearby that the staff are happy to recommend. The staff of the YES hotel were ALL friendly and helpful. We will definitely stay again when we travel to Rome.

We were given a room at the ground floor. Since the hotel is not far from the Roma Termini, it was sort of noisy especially at night or early in the morning. We could hear people walking by with their luggage. The rest was up to standard and the price is very affordable!

Hotel room was recently updated and clean. Room was a bit noisy all hours of the day due to proximity to Termini station. A/C functioned well and blocked out some noise from street. Bathroom was very big and modern. Mini fridge in room was nice.

Great price - any criticisms should bear in mind that this is a brilliantly placed hotel at a price you could not dream of in any other major European city. Only a 3 minute walk from Rome Termini - the railway and bus hub that connects to the rest of Italy and beyond. The hotel could be hard to find as there are none of the usual projecting signs, […] just a glass door with the hotel name. Concentrate on the street address! The room (in an unmarked annexe) was small, but clean and tidy. Reasonably quiet considering that it is in the city centre. The breakfast buffet was really good - both continental and cooked. We were looking for a hotel in Rome for one night after our cruise. We wanted something close by Termini Station (train station) for easy access to the airport the following day. This hotel is only one block from the station. The price we found for this hotel was exceptional considering it's downtown Rome. When we arrived we were very pleased to see […] the condition of the hotel. Everything was very neat and clean and very well kept. The front desk personnel were very kind and helpful and seemed truly happy to greet us. The room was a little small compared to what we are accustomed to here in the states, but very functional. The bath was very modern and clean. The mattress was a little firm for us, but still comfortable. We were able to walk all over the city from the hotel, including a long walk to the Vatican. It is only about 15 minutes to the Colosseum and another 15 minutes to the Trevi Fountain and the Pantheon. All the major attractions are within a reasonable distance if you like to walk, We will definitely stay here on our next visit to Rome. Lesa meira

From the mixed reviews we read about this hotel we were prepared for anything, but were pleasantly surprised. The location is very handy for Termini Station, the metro, and travel to the airport. The staff were all very welcoming and helpful, the room was very clean and comfortable, and bigger than we expected. The breakfast buffet (included) was good, […] and the wifi (2 euros for 24 hours) worked fine. Being able to leave our luggage for the day was very convenient. Yes Hotel was pleasantly surprising. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The hotel is only a 2 minute walk from the Roma Termini which was very convenient to get around Rome and to get to the airport. There were some nice restaurants within a couple of blocks. The neighborhood was a little drab. But once inside the hotel itself we found it […] modern and very secure. The room was nicely decorated, and the bathroom was reasonable although the shower was on the tight side - which was a bit of a problem if you dropped the soap!! Staff were lovely, really helpful and pleasant, nothing was too much trouble. My children loved it and said it was the poshest hotel ever! This was a brilliant family friendly hotel and we would definitely go back there again.

It was very very close to Termini station, not so close to anything else. Rom size Is fine - but 2 people would be crowded if they stayed here for long. Breakfast was better than some, worse than some. The location, cleanliness, and comfort of the bed lead me to say this hotel is above average, but I wouldn't give it 5 stars. Only a one night stay before flying home but it was a good experience. Clean, professional staff, modern and well located near the main train station. The wi-fi policy was a bit goofy. Free in the lobby but 2 euros in the room but per device. Aggravating but no big deal. I overall, I'd consider giving this hotel additional business in future.

We stayed overnight and found this hotel fabulous in every way. We had no trouble finding it, but did take the recommendations of other travelers in helping to get straight there. We would stay there again, hopefully for a longer time.

Clean and modern hotel. Chose it because it was near to Termini. Rooms average size, nice bathroom with proper shower cubicle. No windows in room to speak of. Breakfast was average and the room was very hot and crowded. Apart from the convenience of being so close to the station, would probably stay somewhere else next time.

Without a doubt, the best 3 Star Hotel in Rome. Comparative to many 4 Star Hotels with the price of a 3. Staff are fantastic, at a minimum they speak 4 languages and are happy to assist with your learning and understanding of Italian if you wish. The location is excellent - literally a 3 minute walk to the Termini. However, we walked to everything […] in Rome, even as far out as the Vatican and Trastevere. The complimentary buffet breakfast is as good as any, although it is a little tight for room. There is free WIFI and internet in the lobby, and reception will print-out anything for you. I cant say enough things about the staff, they were awesome! The outside of the hotel is old but don't let that fool you because the inside is very clean and beautiful! It is located very close to just about everything you would want to see in Rome!

Great hotel. Location was superb and the rooms were modern and clean. The only down side was the wifi. It wasn't very stable and went on and off.

Middle of the road hotel. Not great not bad. The free breakfast had a good selection of food choices. The proximity to the main train station is great. A 5 minute walk tops. It's great if you want to take the train from FCO. The neighborhood was not great. A lot of touris trap restaurants, sketchy people & a bit of a distance from all the famous sites […] in Rome. It was also a 15 minute cab ride to the center of Rome where all the best local restaurants are and nightlife. The hotel itself was clean and quiet. Not easy to find if you get lost. No free Internet in the room but in the main lobby yes. The room was just ok. The bed was a bit hard with one pillow. Wow!!! This was the best experience in our 9 week European holiday. This hotel rates like six stars, the staff, hotel, restaurant, pool and especially the view was just excellent. Carmela the owner was simply delightful, greeting us each morning, always asking us if anything else could be done for us, unbelievable service. Carmela even drove us into […] Positano one night so we wouldn't catch the bus, that was a free and friendly service. It gets better, while swimming in the breath taking pool, complimentary champagne was served to all and free ice cream to all the children. I loved the hotels philosophy, that is that each client have the best experience and holiday, to remember it for life, I can assure you travellers that's what happened, it was the best experience ever, we can't wait to go back, thank you Carmela and you beautiful dedicated staff. As others have said, the rooms are on the small side (that is the only reason I gave 3 out of 5 for "comfort of your room"). However, if you are not interested in doing pilates in your hotel room, you should be fine. The rooms are very modern looking, which I have found is very rare during travelling throught Italy. I have stayed in 4 star hotels in […] Florence and Venice which looked like they have not been updated since the early 1980's so this hotel was was pleasant surprise for a 3 star. The hotel is situated on a quiet street, just a block north of the central train station/subway station which I found very convenient. The staff were very curtious and helpful. Stayed in this hotel for one night before travelling on to our destination as our flight got in too late to travel. Thought the hotel was great. Easy to find (though should say street is easy to find but as there is no hanging sign for hotel you need to pay attention to find it). Was not too expensive and the room was very very clean (most importantly!!!) […] Breakfast selection was not the best, but doesn't really matter, you are in Rome so easy enough to find good food. The positive reviews were accurate. The front desk was very helpful and friendly. Contemporary decor, nice breakfast, air conditioning worked well. Hotel offers a quad room for family of 4. A short walk from Roma Termini train station for travellers. Would definitely return.

The hotel seems like it has just been refurbished. Everything is clean and modern - a welcome change from many other Rome hotels. Front desk was very helpful. The location is close to Termini station (but no train noise) and handy to central Rome's attractions.Only slight negative was size of rooms - but this is Rome!

I was in Rome for a conference which had a list of preferred hotels (all within several blocks of Termini). Most of these hotels had a low ratings on the review sites; so I decided to pick one on my own. Have selected Yes hotel after reading the reviews and was not disappointed. I was quite satisfied with my choice; especially after hearing complaints from other conference participants about their accommodations.
