Þetta er fínt hótel, herbegið var kannski ekki það snyrtilegasta en herbergisþjónustan var mjög góð. það er staðsett rétt hjá metro stöð, sem var mjög þægilegt. mæli með þessu hóteli ef menn vilja spara en vera samt á ágætis hóteli á góðum stað.

Átti frábæra dvöl á hótelinu. Lítið og notalegt hótel á frábærum stað við breiðgötu Montparnasse. Góð þjónusta, herbergin falleg og snyrtileg. Góður morgunmatur, ekki innifalinn, en í notalegum litlum sal í lobbýinu. Takk fyrir mig.

This high-rise business city glitters to the west of Paris at the far end of the Grande Axe. Centrepiece is La Grande Arche, a vast hollow cube containing office and exhibition space, an information centre and a rooftop viewpoint. An IMAX cinema and a huge shopping centre with cafés and brasseries attract tourists as well as office-workers. Sculptures, mosaics and fountains add life the skyscraper surroundings.

Great hotel, great location, will use this hotel again
Although it wasn't in Paris, we only had about a 15 minute walk to the metro and another 20 minutes into the city. Hint: get a metro pass for as long as your stay. There are lots of transfers requiring tickets. The kitchenette in the room was a real plus, especially since there was a wonderful food market two blocks away. And it was CLEAN so we didn't […] mind preparing our food there. The staff was very helpful and friendly. We will definitely look for a Residhome for all of our traveling in Europe. Lesa meira
"Great location, very reasonable costs"
I was looking for a hotel on a budget but got a much better standard than expected. Clean, modern, convenient, very comfortable and the only negative was that the directions printed from the hotel website were misleading. Also give the breakfast a miss, its OK but at €16 pp its not great value. The Monoprix around the corner has a hot food counter with […] a bigger, cheaper range. Other than that, everything was great. Very nice area, supermarkets and restaurants nearby and well within 10 minutes walking distance from La Defense Railway/Metro station which gave you easy access to everywhere including the centre of Paris and the main tourist sites ( without the premium price). Also easily accessible from CDG airport with only one change at Chatelet. I'll definitely use this hotel again and would highly recommend it. Lesa meira

fabulous four star luxury, last metro stop at La Defense in modern Paris, great kitchenette and excellent valud for money. Overlooked Millionaires Park.....Heaven
"Incredible Value"
Had an overall great stay!!! Room was clean. Great value for a four star hotel. Quick walk from Le Défense metro station, but be advised that there are tons of stairs down/up between hotel and station. So arriving and leaving with lots of luggage can be tough. There is a Taxi pick up point just outside of the metro station but they refused to take us […] to the hotel as it was such a close walk; a very difficult walk though with our luggage. However, after you settle in, it's only a few stops from main tourist sites in Paris if you take the RER line A (red line) which is very fast, a little slower on the Metro line 1 but still just as easy. Hotel staff were friendly but they suddenly didn't understand English when I needed them to get me a Taxi from the Hotel to Gare Du Nord. They quoted me 80 euro for a Taxi to CDG Airport so I asked for a Taxi to the train Station in stead so that I could get the train the rest of the way to the airport, but they wouldn't call it for me. I eventually convinced them in my not-so-perfect French and they booked that Taxi but it was like pulling teeth. In the end we asked our driver to take us to CDG Airport and it only cost us about 50 Euro. Not Bad! All I'm saying is that the whole incident was rather sketchy and dodgy to me. Otherwise FANTASTIC HOTEL!!! You should stay here. No need to find a hotel in Central Paris. Great neighborhood and our room had a kitchenette which was perfect as there is a small Grocery shop across the street. I would stay here again but bring less luggage. Lesa meira
"Paris Hotel - Outskirts of the Centre"
The hotel is about 15 minutes by cab from Garde Du Norde station and about 10 minutes from the Arc De Triumph. We did walk it once but it took about 1.5hrs. The hotel is within the business district which is a very nice area and well worth spending some time to exlore. We chose this hotel because it offered an aprtment style room for three with one […] double and a sofa bed plus kithenette type facilities at a very reasonable rate compered to city centre hotels. It was clean and reasonably modern, a little cramped but it provided an adequate place to sleep, there is not a bar but there is a store opposite so you can stock up on drinks and snacks to put in the fridge to tuck into at the end of the day. I would definitely recommend pre-registering to use the 'Velib' cycle hire which is similar to 'Borris Bikes' in London. You can then ride free for 30 minutes and would easily be able to see all the sights by bike! There is a 'Velib' bike station within 10 minutes walk of this hotel and would save money on cabs, download the App which gives GPS positioning. Lesa meira

The hotel room was clean, well equiped, not so spacious. Neighbourhood is quiet, cool, ametro is appr. 10 min. It's a good hotel, worth to test it.

We found this Residhomme to be convenient and comfortable during our stay in Paris. It was out of the main tourist area, but with the metro close by - was accessible to the city within 15 mins. I would recommend the management add a direction map from the metro as it was hard to find after an exhausting journey via Euro Rail. "Sad to say 'Au Revoir!'"
The Residhome La Defense was fantastic. Three of us shared the room, which was fine because in the day the sofa bed and the main bed both folded away to allow for more living space. The kitchenette was just the right size to create breakfast each morning and there was a store across the road, which was very handy indeed. Staff were friendly, spoke English, […] and were more than happy to hold our bags for us on our last day, as we didn't leave Paris until night. La Defense is an impressive sight, with shops, restaurants and interesting buildings. A stone's throw from the centre of Paris, we took the Metro around and were able to get to the centre of Paris in about 10-15 minutes. If you are looking around for a great place to stay, I would recommend this hotel. It was quiet at night, we had our own air conditioning and bathroom, and really enjoyed our stay in Paris. This Aparthotel was impossible to locate, too many detours due to road plan. Hotel service, only one receptionist was lousy. Bed sheets were unchanged and staff did not want to make the bed, they just gave us the clean bed sheets to make up our own bed upon arrival. The water pressure in the shower was too weak while the hot and cold temp is impossible […] to control. People with long hair have a hard time washing their hair properly. "A two-star hotel"
I don't understand how this hotel got a four-star rating. The room for three people was small. Once the sofa bed was pulled out, there was no room to move around. There was a window facing the street and buildings on the other side. But there was no curtain for the window. I had been to numerous hotels around the world. And I had never seen a window […] without a curtain. To get the shower working, you had to pull a knob which was a task not meant for the feeble or the weak. I tried to ask the night-shift staff to help but he said he was alone and was not supposed to leave the reception desk. I will not recommend this hotel to anybody. Lesa meira

Very nice hotel - super friendly & helpful staff. 10 min walk to the metro.
Even though the location of this hotel is a bit out of the way, the La Defense is a quiet area of Paris. And the metro is only a 15 minute walk and you can get to anywhere from there. "Nice Place to Stay in Paris"
We stayed at Residhome near La Defense for three nights in March. The apartment type hotel is located less than a quarter mile north of La Defense, and less than 10 minutes walk from the Metro Station. We arrived at the hotel about 11am and was able to check in early. We stayed in the Triple-room which has a queen bed and pullout sofa bed. It also has […] a small, fully-equipped kitchen with all the utensiles. There is a grocery store right across the street so it's very convenient if you would like to cook breakfast in the room comparing to the breakfast at the hotel which cost EUR 16 per person. The room is smaller than the standard hotel room like Marriott or Hilton in the US, which is no difference from any other typical hotel rooms in Europe. With the sofa bed being pulled out, there is little room left. The bed is pretty comfortable and the sofa bed is bigger than a twin bed and can comfortablly sleep for one or possible for two kids. Overall the room is comfortable to stay. We had a problem with the shower the first night as the knob that control the water to the shower head could not be lifted up. As I asked the front desk and was told that you have to turn the water on at very low volume and then lift the knob as the pressure is too much at high water flow. I tried and it worked, but I think this is a design flaw. The room was cleaned everyday but I found it wasn't thorough. This is one area needs some improvement. The La Defense metro station is six stops from Arc De Triumph and takes about 15 mins and then a few stops to Museum de Louvre on the same Metro 1 line (yellow line). In general the location is quiet and convenient, and if this is what you're looking for you can't be wrong to choose this one. But if you don't like to take the metro subway every day to the attractions and prefer to stay in hotels located near busy shopping or nightlife district, this is not the hotel to choose. "Paris Hotel - Not city center but good deal"
All was as advertised. The walk to the train station was a little longer than expected. Ok for me but wife, kids and luggage.... Hotel in great condition, staff friendly, and room was great for the price of what Paris hotels charge. The weekend rate we got at the last minute was great. Grocery store around the coner by the Starbucks. Several restaurants […] close by. I will stay here again!!! Only issue what a taxi to the airport about 65 Euros but the taxi started with 14 on the meter and driver said it was hotel charge. Before going talked to several people that all said the cost would be between 65-70 based on traffic... Just did not understand the 14 Euro base charge when we got in the mini-van. Lesa meira
"Cleaning of rooms"
I was very satisfied with the hotel. The rooms are cleaned everyday if you stay for less than 5 days, but cleaned only twice if you stay for 7 days... My room was cleaned the second day, then not for 5 days, and then the day before we left, this does not make sense.
"Good hotel..nice neighborhood..room not that clean"
It was a good hotel. It was about 10 minutes walk to the train station then about 20 mins train ride to almost all the attractions. There was a grocery store across the street which was very convenient. Beds in the room were very comfortable. Room was beautiful but the floor was not cleaned properly and had dust on it. Bathroom amenities were there […] when we checked in but were never provided again once finished. I had to go to the lobby to get soap and toilet paper. Morning front desk staff was very friendly but night staff wasn't that friendly. We could see the unpleasant expression on their faces whenever we will ask more than one question. Overall I would give this hotel a rating of 3.5... since an option of 3.5 for overall rating wasn't available i had to give it a 3. Lesa meira
"Residhome La Defense"
The hotel was in a convenient location and with easy access to transportation to the city. The rooms are on the small side but nice. The refrigerator was handy to keep cold water and some fruit and othe rfood. There is a small supermarket just across the street. A bus stop is just around the corner and the metro is a 10 minute walk. "Nice, clean and comfortable, but outside of Paris"
Took about 10 minutes to walk to the metro. (It looks a lot closer on the map...) Took about 15 minutes on the metro to get into town. But it was nice and quiet and being in the business district, everyone spoke english. There was not a lot in the direct area, which is nice if you like it quiet. Good value and helpful/friendly staff.
The hotel was OK, clean. But we had very bad experience with the staff upon leaving the hotel. We had to leave very early morning and ordered a taxi previous day at the reception and received booking code. The next morning however the other receptionist ( Henry) kept us several minutes at the reception claiming that we have no reservation for a taxi […] and when we pointed the taxi waiting outside he insisted that this taxi was for other person and even when showing the recervation code he still insisted that we have no order for a taxi.. After we insisted several times he went to check with the taxi driver and returned back advising that yes this is our taxi but we have to pay EUR 17 ,because we delayed the taxi.When we complaint that in fact he delayed us insisting that we did not order taxi he was very arrogant and rude .As we were in a hurry for the airport we finally paid the eur 17 for the waiting time of the taxi but we will never stay in this hotel again. "Superhotel für Paris"
Das Hotel hatte eine kleine Küchenzeile, so daß man kleine Mahlzeiten (Frühstück, Abendessen) selbst zuereiten konnte. Darüber hinaus lag genau gegenüber ein gut sortierter kleiner Supermarkt. Auch praktisch war, daß das Hotel in der Nähe der U-Bahn-Station lag. Das ganze Viertel war sehr sauber (Bankenviertel) und sehr sicher. Sehr schlechter Service im Hotel es hatte keine Decke im Zimmer als wir das Personal baten uns eine zu bringen hies es man schraube die Heizung auf. Geht gar nicht. Und auch am Silvester als wir das Taxi bestellten es hies 10Minten und aus 10 Minuten wurden 45 Minten so das wir Silvester im Taxi verbringen mussten. Keiner vom Perosnal wollte nochmals […] anrufen um nach zu sehen wo das Taxi blieb. Wirklich graussames Hotel sowas ist mir noch nie Passiert. Und das für ein 4**** naja. Lesa meira

"Great hotel... good location for business..."
Located 3 minutes walk from La Defense business complex and L'Arc building, it is a great place for business. For turism the location is also good, if you don't need to return to the hotel during the day. Traffic around the hotel is quite reasonable for Paris. Breakfast is good and staff is very friendly and helpfull...

"Perfekt utgangspunkt for utflukter"
Hotellet lå perfekt til i forhold til metro ned til byen, og dermed et flott utgangspunkt for videre utflukter. Det er et forretningsområde, stille og rolig om kvelden. Kjøpesenter og matbutikk rett i nærheten. Lett å finne når en gikk ut i riktig retning av metroen : )
L'eau chaude arrive dans la douche par intermittence, elle devient tiède puis brulante(ch 1007). Les fenêtres des chambres ne peuvent se verrouiller car elles ont été forcées(ch1007/1008). Le top, le petit déjeuner du dimanche matin.Il faut savoir que les groupes de touristes sont prioritaires,donc ce n'est que du bonheur d'attendre après deux cars […] d'asiatiques et un d'espagnol. Ce n'est pas comme cela que nous avons l'habitude de séjourner sur paris. We stayed at the hotel for 5 nights and it was horrible. 2 nights withouht airconditioning and telephone and 1 night without TV. We changed the room and we got another bad room. It is amzing that a renovated hotel has no maintenace system and almost everything is out of order. The personals are quiet disfunctional and did not respind to our complaints. […] Still I do not know how they run that hotel and just making notes and post poning problems for future. Trevlig personal. Fräscha rum. Lite trångt när man faller ut bäddsoffan. Men inget vi stördes över. Perfekt med kyl och kokmöjligheter. Nära och enkelt att hitta till metron som tar dig direkt till Porte Maillot för bussen mot Beauvais. Eller in till centrala Paris. Linje 1. Mataffär runt hörnet. we waren zeer tevreden met de studio/lkamer voor 3 personen. De hotel ligt in een rustige mooie moderne wijk, het centrum van Parijs is prima te bereiken met de metro. Hele vriendelijke personeel bij de receptie.
