vantaði heitt vatn á baðherbergið hjá okkur í 1 og hálfan dag, herbergið fljótt yfir litið hreint, en þegar maður var á klósettinu sá maður mikið ryk bak við hurðina og horfði á handklæðaofninn sem var allur í ryki á milli rimlanna

"Novotel Muenchen City - besti morgunnverðurinn"Metið af Auður Ester G G frá "Kópavogur, Ísland" þann 8. okt. 2010
Við fjölskyldan gistum á Novotel Muenchen City í september 2010. Erum með 2 lítil börn. Hótelið var í alla staði glæsilegt og aðstaða fyrir börn góð en þeir eru með leikherbergi í andyrinu með leikjatölvum og fleira dót. Herbergið var mjög fallegt og hreint. Baðherbergið var með bæði baði og sturtu en það kemur sér vel þegar maður er með lítil börn. Morgunnverðurinn á hótelinu er hreint út sagt frábær og langar manni að sita þar endalaust og borða. Það er hægt að fá nánast allt og svo stendur kokkur og býr til eggjakökur og pönnukökur fyrir þig eins og þú villt. Hótelið er í gögnufæri við bæinn og einnig er Munchen safnið í 5 mín göngufjarlægð. Hótelið er með sér bílastæðahús svo ekki þarf að leita að bílastæðum ef maður er á bíl. Einnig er lestarstöðin rétt hjá. Ég mæli því eindregið með þessu hóteli.
Mögulegt er að gjalds verði krafist fyrir aukagesti. Slíkt fer eftir stefnu hvers hótels fyrir sig.

I stayed here for one night early in December. Although there isn't a great deal going on directly around the hotel, it's not a far walk to take-away shops, resturants, bars etc and the main train station too of course. The hotel itself was very clean, very warm and defintetly great value for money. I would have no hesitation in staying here again.
"WALKING DISTANCE FROM THE CITY CENTER"
Hotel was quite clean, but needs renovation (old furniture and poor decoration). Except receptionist we havo not met anybody. Breakfast was also poor, because we were the only couple accomodated, staff wasn't willing to cook for us and therefore we could pick only cold food from a buffet. "Clean and comfortable"
We stayed here one night, were passing throug Munich quickly and it did the trick. Our flight arrived early but it was no problem checking in at 13:30. Very close to the ubahn and only 5 min walk to the Haiptbahnhof. Breakfast was expensive so we grabbed coffee and sandwiches at a nearby deli. A great choice if you're looking for something basic and […] clean. This hotel was nicer than most European hotels I've stayed in. Would totally recommend. Lesa meira
"Great hotel, location and staff"
we ended up in Munich after a long trip around Europe and we loved this hotel! It was so convenient with a subway line at the end of the block that takes you everywhere in the city. The staff was also very helpful and polite and the rooms were nice too. Our room was right by the elevator but it was totally quiet.
"Close to main train station, not a great n-hood"
My husband and I stayed here for 1 night. The room was clean and the hotel was about a 7 min. walk to the main train station. The immediate neighborhood was not that nice, but not bad either. For the price, I would recommend this hotel.

"bells"
Nice hotel but very near to St. Paul's church. Loud bells every morning at 7pm and all day Sunday. Windows closed shuts out much of the sound but then it gets hot in the room.

"Basic hotel definitely not for families"
First of all, the service wasn't good - I even got some stupid remarks regarding the wear and tear of my passport (why is that even of interest, I wonder?). The room was reeked of smoke, although I had requested a non-smoking room. Moreover, the window looked out over the back yard, which got quite noisy at night even though I kept it closed. The neighbourhood […] is rather dodgy, although not necessarily unsafe. You can quickly reach the city centre, however, I would recommend all families and women travelling alone to look for accommodation further to the East of the train station - I definitely wouldn't want to walk around the area alone/with children after dark. Breakfast seemed quite overpriced for what it was, and you can get better deals in the neighbouring cafes. Overall, it was acceptable, but I wouldn't recommend it to my friends. Lesa meira

"Good for the price!"
The place was clean and well kept, and the service was wonderful. Literally the only bad thing about this place is the neighborhood. if you're a woman traveling alone you might not want to stay here, but if you have a companion with you it's no problem! My friend and I stayed here and had no problems at all but were glad we had eachother when walking […] back at night. Clean, and comfortable and not too expensive too! Lesa meira

"GHotel - nice base for those in transit in Munich"
This GHotel is located near the central train station in Munich and about a 15-20 minute walk from the Marianplatz. We arrived late Saturday evening and were greeted by a helpful staff member. Our room was simple, clean and fairly spacious. The bathroom was clean and the shower was great! We only spent one brief night in this hotel and it was convenient […] as we were coming and going from the train station but if you are exploring the city, I believe the GHOTEL hotel & living München-Zentrum is a better option. "Nice hotel for great price"
We enjoyed the stay here, the room was comfortable and the bathroom was clean and pleasant (good shower!). The staff were friendly and helpful, and there was off-street parking that we took advantage of, since we didn't drive at all during our stay. I appreciated the small gym provided (very small and not much equipment, but enough to get a quick workout […] in. It's usually hard to find hotels with gyms, so I appreciated that there even was one). We were a little farther than hoped from central downtown, but it was an easy 4 block walk to the Hauptbahnhoff (main train station), and we could take the trains anywhere if we didn't feel like walking. (we did bike rentals one day there, too, definitely recommend it!) Overall I'll probably stay somewhere closer to downtown next time/in a different part of the city just to explore some other areas/museums more, but I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a good price and a nice, clean, pleasant hotel. "Bad smelling rooms and very unpleasing hotel"
Don't book and dont stay even if you booked. It smells. Either smoke smell or rotten smell. There are much better hotel around this area than GHotel. I made a major mistake.
"The Ghotel - Munich"
This hotel was a little to far away from the centre of Munich. Not a problem if you like walking or can understand the u-bahn system. We were a little disapointed with the hotel, it was showing signs of age and our room needed modernising. Also there was an overwhelming smell of stale tobacco, even if it was a smoking room, we were not given any option. […] However breakfast was plesent on the little roof garden and the staff were friendly and polite. So if you like to smoking and walking this is the place to stop. Lesa meira

"OK hotel, in shady neighborhood; no AC"
The hotel is close to the main train station and that makes it a good option. The lack of AC and the overpriced internet (only available through T-mobile in either 1-hour or 30-day increments?!), plus some noise coming from the street are a drag. Also, the neighborhood is somewhat "shady", so I would not encourage you to walk around alone at night. "Gute Lage"
Das Zimmer war eher klein aber sauber und sehr ruhig. Das Hotel befindet sich in unmittelbarer Nähe zu einer U-Bahnstation, zudem ist der Hauptbahnhof auch zu Fuss gut zu erreichen.

"Super schönes Hotel in zentraler Lage"
Direkt an der Theresienwiese, das Zentrum erreicht man in ca. 10 min gut zu Fuß!!! Sehr schöne und saubere Zimmer, netter Service, einziges Manko ist die Tiefgarage sehr enge Parkplätze.... Und mit eng meine ich extrem eng wenn zwei Autos neben einander stehen kann man nicht mehr aussteigen!!!

"GHOTEL Münchenissä - lähellä Octoberfest aluetta"
Hyvä, rauhallinen hotelli keskustassa aivan metroaseman sisäänkäynnin lähettyvillä. Hotellilta myös lyhyehkö kävelymatka päärautatieasemalle ja Octoberfest -alueelle. Ympäristö oli Octoberfestin jälkeen todella rauhallinen ja hotellissa siksi myös paljon tilaa. Vastaanotto siisti ja palvelu kohteliasta, hissi ja kerrosten käytävät hieman kuluneita. Das Hotel liegt nahe dem Hauptbahnhof und ist zu Fuß gut zu erreichen. Gleiches gilt für den Weg vom Hotel zur Innenstadt (ca. 10 bis 15 Minuten). Zimmer und Hotel waren sauber. Alles war zu unserer Zufriedenheit, so dass der Service nicht bewertet werden kann. Ein- und auschecken waren problemlos. Uns ist nichts negativ aufgefallen, so dass wir das […] Hotel zumindest für einen Kurzaufenthalt weiterempfehlen können. Abgeschreckt hatte uns der hohe Preis für das Frühstück. Lyhyellä varoitusajalla varattu pieni, edullinen , viihtyisä hotelli, kävelyetäisyydellä päärautatieasemasta, josta helppo tehdä tutustumisretkiä julkisilla kulkuneuvoilla. Hotelliketjulla on myös toinen hotelli Munchenissa, hieman tasokkaampi, kalliimpi.

Sehr freundlicher und zuvorkommender Service an der Rezeption, ebenso beim Frühstück, das eine sehr gute frische Auswahl bot. Die Dachterasse war ein "Sahnehäubchen" beim Frühstück. Die Matratze und das Kopfkissen hatten eine sehr gute Qualität. Man konnte schon deshalb gut schlafen und trotz der Stadtnähe war es ruhig, sodaß man das Fenster öffnen […] konnte. Direkt an der Theresien U-Bahnstation und auch direkt an allen anderen Orten. Man kann eigentlich überall zu Fuß hinlaufen: Theresien Wiese (2min) Englischer Karten (20min) Hauptbahnhof (10min) Von der Lage her nur zu empfehlen.

Hôtel avec des tarifs raisonnables, et très bien situé par rapport à une station de métro. Par contre, tarif exorbitant du petit déjeuner pour la classe de l'hôtel (12€ par personne !). Très appréciable et surtout très rentable, le parking souterrain privé de l'hôtel est à 9€/j seulement. L'amabilité de la réception est fonction de la personne qui s'y […] trouve. "Wochenendurlaub"
Meine Frau war mit dem Preisleistungsverhältnis sehr zufrieden. Gute Anbindung U-Bahn. Wichtig vom Hauptbahnhof in 5 Minuten zu erreichen. Nicht weit zur Theresienwiese. Alles in allem eine saubere Sache für denjenigen der das Hotel nur zum Schlafen benötigt.
Excellent localization, 15 minutes walking from Karlsplatz, and good service. The room is quite small, but very well distributed and clean. Small kitchen helps when you want to avoid spending money in restaurants

"super Preis-Leistung"
gepflegtes Hotel mit sehr netten und hilfsbereitem personal. Lage des Hotels zur Straßenseite ziemlcih laut, aber die Möglichkeit im dunkeln zuschlafen, da es super Rolläden gibt. Die kleine Küchenzeile war sehr praktisch und wurde gerne von uns benutzt. Es gab einen Wasserkocher, Spüli, einen Kühlschrank, 2 Herdplatten, eine mikrowelle! Toll! Zimmer […] war sauber, Bad auch. Die terrasse zum Essen ist sehr schön und ist wesentlich größer, als auf dem Foto. auch im innenhof gibt es eine sitzgelegenheit. Wir würden dieses Hotel bei einem Aufenthalt in München wieder wählen, da das Preis-leistungsverhältnis gestimmt hat. :) Lesa meira

"Parkmöglichkeit"
Bei unserer Anreise war leider die vorhandene Tiefgarage mit Duplexstellplätzen außerbetrieb sodass es uns nciht möglich war dort zu parcken, da es unmöglich erschien auf die Stellplätze mit einem normalen Auto aufzufahren. Dies ist ein Manko das leicht beseitigbar gewessen wäre, jedoch laut Personal nicht möglich war, sodass wir für die Dauer unseres […] Aufenthalts am Strassenrand Parken mussten. Lesa meira
Negativ: Leider muss für W-Lan sehr tief in die Tasche gegriffen werden. In der heutigen Zeit muss W-Lan kostenlos sein. Positiv: Fitnessraum

Das Hotel ist sauber, die Zimmer sind einfach und praktisch eingerichtet. Die Sauberkeit entspricht der Preiskategorie. Die Lage ist sehr dicht zum Zentrum (Hbf, Wiesn, Einkauifen ...) trotzdem kaum Verkehrslärm. Dafür ist die Hellhörigkeit des Hauses (besonders im 4. Stock, unter dem Frühstücksraum) etwas lästig. -> Ohropax Wer das Auto nicht draußen […] stehen lassen möchte (ohne Parkschein gibt es Strafzettel) kann in der TG parken. Die Hubsysteme (in einer Stellung arretiert) sind jedoch nicht für tiefe Autos geeignet, da recht steil. Meinen Windabweiser unter der Stoßstange hat es abgerissen. Lesa meira
"Quiet hotel, nice location, close to Hauptbahnhof"
Everything was as it should be, no more, no less. No mini-bar in room, but room was neatly equipped with refrigerator, microwave oven and stove, plus dishes and cutlery, so one could make small meals in the room. Breakfast buffet was not fancy but satisfactory. Only annoyance was the noise from the church bell from the nearby church. Staff at reception […] was kind and helpful and everything regarding check-in and -out went smoothly. All in all, a relatively cheap hotel (in late october at least) considering it's relatively high standard; well worth recommending, at least for shorter business trips. Lesa meira
Nahe zum HBF und U-Bahnstation Theresienwiese, 2 Stationen bis zum Stachus. Umgebung multikulti (türkisches Viertel) > war für mich überraschend, aber überhaupt kein Problem. Gutes Frühstück, sehr gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. Sehr empfehlendswert
