Á baðherbergjum eru baðker með sturtu, hárblásarar og snyrtivörur án endurgjalds. Til viðbótar eru í boði straujárn/strauborð og opnanlegir gluggar.

Flott hótel í gömlu húsi en full hljóðbært á milli herbergja. Var með herbergi út að götu og það er slatta traffík þarna hjá allan sólarhringinn. Einnig fór gesturinn í herberginu fyrir ofan okkur að færa til hús gögn kl. 5 um morguninn.

Hótelið er í góðu umhverfi og starfsfólk mjög vinalegt. Rétt handan við hornið eru sporvagnarnir bæði gömlu sem fara upp brekkurnar og í gegnum ítalska og kínahverfið og endar á Market þar sem allar verslanirnar eru. Nýju sporvagnarnir þeir fara meðfram bryggjunum og sjávarsíðunni og hægt er að taka þá eða labba að bryggju 35 að mig minnir þar sem ferjan til Alcatrez er. Eina sem hefði fullkomnað þessa hóteldvöl var ef það hefði verið þráðlaust net upp í herberginu. En það er eingöngu í andyrinu. Mun klárlega gista aftur á þessu hóteli í framtíðinni þegar farið verður aftur til San Francisco

Við vorum að leita að hóteli miðsvæðis í San Francisco og sem væri á hagstæðu verði, hreinlegt. Hótel Diva uppfyllti þessar kröfur auk þess að vera með mjög góða og persónulega þjónustu.

Some of the leading biotech and Silicon Valley companies are within minutes of the airport.

Loud, angry, swearing folks lamenting about life right outside my paper thin wall till past 11PM. Felt like I was auditioning for a role in "Rent". The "advertised brkfst" turned out to be coffee and oat meal - a total joke. Clean enuf if run down; but, otherwise, […] OK if you bring ear plugs (maybe a knife, too!) and are looking for cheap digs. Wouldn't bring my wife tho EVER. Lesa meira
"Don't even think of it"
Disgustingly filthy, holes in carpet and drapes, not vaccumed. I can't believe anyone would actually stay here. I didn't - how can Hotels.com recommend this place.

You get what you pay for. I felt like I stayed in the projects, this hotel doubles as an apartment complex. It was absolutely disgusting.

Booked with Hotels.com and when we went to check in, the person behind the counter said there were no rooms available, he had attitude and basically couldnt help us at all.

"good for a one night stay"
was not too impressed... the WIFI only worked up to 8 rooms from the office... there was powder and sticky gunk on the carpet ( i left my shoes on) and the shower was rusted

pros: dive bar right on site with pool and shuffleboard + cheap drinks convenient to freeway cons: dirty carpet, dirty bathroom floor, holes in the bedspreads, no AC, generally sketchy room

"Hillsdale Inn - Not so good"
I am from canada and the hotels are here are really royal. The reason I chose Hillsdale Inn was because it's location was very close to the place from where my tour started. But the room had stink of Ciggarette ash and Curtains had hole in them. I spent a night in that hotel but may not visit it again.

We were one of the 10 rooms the hotel overbooked. Hotels.com lived up to their promise and booked us elsewhere. The Hillsdale is a great hotel if you don't want anything other than somewhere to sleep. The hotel is clean, friendly and has a great sports bar attached.

When making my reservation, I was given a choice about breakfast - if included, the cost was $10 more. I chose to include it, only to discover the next morning that breakfast consisted of coffee and instant oatmeal - that's it. Nor did complaints result in a refund.

It was hard to find. It was very dirty, our room wasn't even vacuumed. It was very hot that evening and there was no AC in the room. And the stairs to go upstair were either lose or broken.
"Big Mistake"
I knew this would be a bad experience when I could not even find my room door. After walking around with a full bag and cooler for about 10 minutes I finally discovered that my room was only accessible from the pool area through a sliding glass door. Unbelievable that IO was not even warned about this poor design setup. I have NEVER seen a room entrance […] like this. I was greeted by a hole in the carpet upon stepping in but that was the least of my concerns as I familiarized myself with the shabby accommodations. The bathroom sink faucet was literally hanging over the sink and was probably the victim of some altercation or good times gone bad. The room had 2 tables and 4 chairs, all below thrift shop standards. The soap dish in the shower actually had a hole in it from ? The bed was large enough but so was the huge sag in the middle. Don,t look at the ceiling unless you want 2 big stains to leer at you all night. When I finally accepted my fate and took a shower in the cracked tile shower I went to turn on the TV but could not locate the remote and was told that it was gone and did not leave a replacement. I should have known something was up because when I first opened the door to my room the TV was already on. This was a first. Very loud sports bar located in hotel which is OK if you like screaming all night but I do not. I would positively absolutely never ever stay there again and would not even stay for free as I heard noises all night as if someone was quietly trying to access my room through the walls. VERY restless night which I have never had in my numerous hotel stays. Lesa meira

The hotal is Ok for one night stay. It is in a convenient location and with little noise at night but apparently safe.

Hotess is extremely nice, I book a room with 2 beds, when I arrived, they rent it out so they gave me 2 rooms each with on bed. One room is very good, the other is not so good but it has no vacancy, so they gave me what they had left without extra charge

The front desk closes at 11pm and on the night we decided to stay it closed at 10:30pm so we ended up at the Best Western across the street.......so if your planning on staying here make sure you get to the hotel before 11pm and if you get stuck in LA traffic your toast.

"Hillsdale Inn"
Although it is on the inexpensive side, and a little older, the staff are very nice. Access from the freeway is easy, and the PD is across the intersection. The sports bar attached has great food and is inexpensive. If vising San Mateo and you just need somewhere to sleep - this is your destination.
i have ever stayed terrible hotel like this before . pay little moreand stayed another hotel better , very cold over the night. terrible smell in the room al night .

"Descuidado"
La tina de la ducha sucia, el cifon tapado, lo destaparon al dia siguiente y dejaron los elementos como tarros y basura sin recogerla. El aseo dos dias consecutivos sin realizarlo, que por que se habia tomado por una semana el cuarto. La picina no le hacian mantenimiento. En general el hotel esta descuidado. Se solicito un cambio de cuarto y no fue […] posible. Todo parece que radica en la administracion, ya que las personas que lo atienden son formales. Yo llevo viajando 30 años y no me habia tocado esto, el hecho de que un hotel sea un poco economico no implica que no le hagan aseo, que es lo mas importante. Lesa meira
