When planning a trip Venice we were advised not to stay in or very close to Venice. So we decided on this hotel only 30 min drive to Venice. And we hit the jackpot. This hotel is royalty. The garden surrounding the hotel is HUGE and very romantic. The hotel is like nothing else. It’s more like a mansion. The room was very big, more like a suite. I could not believe the elegance for this price. The whole time we stayed there I was expecting someone to slap me in the face and charge me three times more. We are still amazed by value for our money. It’s like something from the TV show bachelor. Highly recommended.

It is an "ok" hotell with nice personell. The room was clean, but we would have prefered carpets to the cold floor. The location is fine, but still could be perceived by some as quite far away from the centrum of Lido where you can take the vaporetto to Venice. There are busses from the hotell free of charge untill 10 am, then you can take local traffic […] which is regular. The pool was not yet open at the beginning of may. Sport facilities - tennis. The beach is not too far away. You can take a walk along the seaside from the hotell location. Lesa meira
"Ca Del Moro - "close", but not quite."
First of all let me say that the staff of this hotel is quite good. Our problems didnt originate with them. For the sake of brevity, our pros and cons are as follows: Pros: - Clean Facilities - Helpful staff despite sometimes patchy English. - generally good looking grounds (See cons) - reasonable rates - limited breakfast included - hotel transport […] van available until 10:30am Cons: - rooms small even by European standards - disturbing shower arrangements (our clear window in the shower was directly facing a stairwell...) - very limited Internet access (no wifi, only one very old computer which is set up in Italian. Prepare to be without Internet until you hit a wifi restaurant) - admittedly we were there in March, but we couldn't help but feel like we were the only human beings in the facility. Think "The Island" meets "I Am Legend". This all changed the last night, however, when we discovered: - the walls are ridiculously thin and any noise made outside by a person ( or, in our case, about 30 preteens) WILL echo into the rooms and you WILL hear it when you are trying to sleep at 10PM ( or, in our case, at 11:30pm with a flight to catch in the morning...) - the location is highly inconvenient. It takes a 10-15 minute bus ride (NOT counting the time you spend walking to the bus stop and waiting for the bus) to get to the vaporetti station where you will spend another 5-10 minutes likely waiting for a vaporetti and then another 10-30 minutes on the boat. Do you really want to do that every morning? - Internet pictures of the grounds are very misleading. The hotel grounds do not convey the feeling that the pictures portray. Also, the hotel is NOT on a beach. The "beach" they will direct you to is about a 10 minute walk away (though a shady neighborhood) and is -not- a sandy beach. It is probably a good 15-20 minutes until you will get to their true sand beaches. ( side note about that: admittedly, we are Floridians and probably spoiled by wonderful sand beaches, but Lesa meira
"An Unpleasant Stay"
Hotel is really far from venice, on the island of Lido. It takes 1.5 hrs to get to this place from venice railway station. You take a water boat which is around 50 mins journey and then 20 mins in the bus. If we include the fare of water bus and the bus add 18euros extra per person to get to the hotel. Its mostly cold in this area and still the flooring […] is tiles and is freezing if you step with out slippers. No tea or coffee making facilities in the room even in cold freezing weather, Not even a full length mirror in the room. We booked a family room for 2 adults and a child and got a twin room with beds joined together very haphazardly with huge level difference between 2 cots, very uncomfortable and then we were also given 2 very thin separate duvets for husband and wife when it was 3 to 4 degrees out side. Air conditioning is a con takes full night before temperature starts raising. oh and the breakfast is a joke, not even a hot toast. would not recommend the please unless its really hot summer and is 30 degrees temperature. "hotel ca d'oro venice lido"
After a couple of nights in the centre of Venice and a 7 night cruise around the adriatic I wanted to end the trip with a relaxing day near the beach so booked ca d'oro because of the excellent price and it had a pool. It worked out perfectly. We spent a day at the beach then stayed at this hotel, checked out at midday but stayed around the pool till […] 6pm before making our way to the airport. I would definitely recommend this hotel. Great rooms, lovely restaurant on site, quiet, great facilities, great pool. Very helpful staff too. My only negative is the location. You news to use public transport to get here from the vaporetto stop at the lido and to get to a sandy beach. This could be awkward for some people especially with luggage. As long as you don't mind the transport (a travel card works out best value) then go for it. A great way to enjoy Venice but get away from the hustle and bustle of the city centre. Lesa meira

This is the second time we have stayed at this hotel. We couldnt fault it, we had the best of both worlds, with in 30 mins you are in the centre of Venice, 15mins you are on the beach and you have your own fabulous pool! What more can you ask for!

We stayed at the Ca' Del Moro hotel in July 2011. The rooms were very nicely decorated and very modern BUT very thin walls. If someone was talking in the room across the wing and it connected somwhat with your room, you could hear it loud and clear. If you are planning […] on staying at the hotel and using the pool (which is a very cold pool, even in July) than make sure you bring your own towels, or be prepared to pay 3 Euros for a towel rental as you are forbidden to bring your room towels to work out or go to the pool. The beach near the hotel is over rated, as it is very rocky and unswimmable. There is a better beach closer to the boat stop. The hotel breakfast was good, offering a selection of pastries, yogurt, boiled eggs, cereal, coffee, juice and apples. Transportation to the hotel is fairly good, as there are two buses from the boat stop that can take your there (Bus A and B), both stop just prior to the hotel. The tv selection was poor, but I guess if you are staying in Venice you are not there to watch TV.... Otherwise, I would say, out of the 4 hotels we stayed at in Italy, this would be my second best one. I would stay there again..... Lesa meira

This Hotel was very nice and comfortable, with a beautiful swimming pool and many tennis courts, food was very good, staff very friendly, the only thing is it is a bit far out of Lido but there is a 24 hour bus service which leaves you to the door of the hotel. Nice hotel with a lovely pool but be prepared to travel to and from the vaporetto (waterbus) stop each day. The hotel runs a minibus transfer for 2 hours each morning which is useful and there is a reliable bus service which is only a few minutes walk away. The staff were friendly and helpful and the breakfast was good with a large choice of items. These apartments look brand new with very stylish fittings and most things you could possibly need while on holiday. One complaint, if you could call it that, was that the only way to boil water to make a cup of tea was in a saucepan. This hotel was fabulous for the price!!! I still can't believe how cheap, and nice it was!!! They have pool, tennis courts, fitness room, playground, indoor bar/cafe, outdoor bar/cafe, very friendly staff. If I had to complain about anything, it would be that they have a shuttle that takes you to catch the boat to leave the lido, the last one leaves […] at 10:30am (or so we were told) the shuttle left at 10:15 and we were sitting there for 30 minutes waiting for it to come get us. Not a lot of choice for breakfast and you have to walk across the complex to get to the hotels restaurant which doesnt have a lot of choice and the food was tasteless. No hotel entertainment at all and restaurant shuts at 9.30pm. From the hotel you need to travel a 15minute bus journey to get to Lido from there its a water bus journey to main part of […] Venice. We found this very expensive and a lot of hassle. Everything in Venice (clothes and food) was very ecpensive, being told we were not being charged to sit and eat, after we have finished our meal there was a charge on the bill. If you want somewhere secluded and out of the way and just want to sit in your room then this is the place for you. If not i wouldnt suggest this hotel or Venice at all. Lesa meira

My wife and I stayed at this hotel in October 2010. We had originally booked 2 nights but liked it enough to book a 3rd night. They honored the price we got from this website for our 3rd night as well. Hotel itself was great. Clean, friendly and helpful staff, easy check-in/out. Wireless internet was only available in the reception area at a cost of […] 1 euro/30 minutes. The only strike against this place was its location. It is a bit out of the way and the area doesn't have much to offer in walking distance for restaurants or shopping. If you're looking for a quiet place away from all the crowds in Venice then you'll be very happy here or if you don't mind some bus trips to get around then you'll be fine too. If you're there for more than a day I would recommend the tourist transit passes that allow unlimited use of the Lido buses as well as the water bus system to Venice. Staff at reception were friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. The bar restaurant was reasonably priced and food good. All staff were very friendly. The hotel has a courtesy bus to the water bus stop, but public transport is also good to and from the hotel. We found the out of city location gave us two quite different experiences […] of Venice and Lido. My two daughters and I felt safe in the area and would not hesitate to book the hotel again. "Great quiet location wih easy bus access"
While not right in Venice, if you get the bus/vaporetti pass for the whole time of your stay you can very easily get to Lido by Vaporetti and take a bus right to the hotel for no additional cost. I do NOT recommend a car with the ferry as you can wait for close to two hours just to get on the ferry. The hotel had friendly help, nice and clean rooms […] and bathrooms, a quiet neighborhood, wifi for a reasonable price in the lobby, and an ok breakfast. My only real frustration was the lack of really hot water but this was fairly standard in Italy regardless of which hotel we stayed in. Lesa meira
"Rude service"
This is not a hotel! but rather a sports dorm which is passed off as a hotel. The rooms are spartan although fairly large. The pool is very nice, as are the tennis courts (which are unfortunately not included and for which the hotel charges quite a bit). The ferry to Lido Island is expensive, as are the Valporetto water buses to Venice and from the dock one needs to take an additional 15 minute bus ride to the Ca' Del Moro. "Ca' del Moro July 2010"
We found this a very pleasant hotel to stay in. The combination of a city holiday (Venice) and Beach (Lido) & Pool (the hotel) was superb. Although situated further down the island (Lido) there are 24/7 bus services (in summer) and it takes about 15 mins to get to the village centre of Lido, from there Venice is a 10 min waterbus journey away. The […] breakfast was simple but very tasty, with warm buns and croissants, the usual yoghurt, cornflakes, etc. We bought a 3 day travel card for use of the bus service on Lido and all the waterbusses around Venice and spent 2 days at the beach/pool. The rooms are air-conditioned and the gym and tennis courts of the hotel were fantastic. From Marco Polo we took a private water 'coach' company to Lido. which at thirteen euros, although more expensive than a normal bus into Venice, was a magical way to arrive to Venice from the airport. This hotel was nice and really surprising with the amount of fitness facilities. If you like tennis, this is the place for you. There are around 14 courts: clay, hard and indoor. There is also a really nice gym. The best we used in Europe. The downside it that the hotel is on Lido, so you have to take to waterbus to the city, but it was not a problem […] for us. Also, the hotel is far down the island, so you have to take a bus to get there. Walking from the waterbus is not an option. There are no places to eat within walking ditance, but the hotel has a pool with a clubhouse that serves food at reasonable to cheap prices. Also, the breakfast buffet was included and it was good. We stayed in this hotel in august for five days, yes Its newly built with a pool and not that far from lido town but the service is really poor and staff wont bother at all.

O Hotel em si é muito bom, boas instalações, ótimo serviço e um bom café da manhã. Porém, fica distante do Centro de Veneza. Apesar disto, o transporte é frequente e 24 horas por dia: o ônibus para o Porto passa de 10 em 10 minutos e o Vaporeto de 20 em 20 minutos. Gasta-se cerca de 30 minutos para chegar a Veneza. Bra frukost med gott kaffe. Lätt att ta sig till hotellet med lokala busstrafiken.En lugn miljö efter flera timmar i Venedig för den som behöver lite avkoppling från alla turister. Bra gym att träna i.

Boun Giorno, vorallem die Lage des Hotel hat uns gut gefallen, 3 Minuten zu Fuss, und man ist am offenen Meer. Allein. Kein Mensch zu dieser Jahreszeit, man kann viele Kilometer auf den geteerten Damm Rennen, oder spazieren. Die Ruhe nach dem lebendigen Venedig. Der Fitnessraum ist riesig und tip top. Es hat auch eine Sauna, die Frau auch für sich reservieren […] kann, wenn sie nicht mit Mann zusammen sein möchte.Das Frühstück ist ok, an der Bar bekommt man auch frischen Capucino. Die Zimmer sind modern und klein. Wer gerne die Stadt vom Wasser aus kennen lernt der Ideale Ort. Vom Bahnhof bis zum LIdo fährt man 1 Stunde mit dem Vapareto. Sehr schön und romantisch. Unbedingt bie Ankunft ein Abonoment kaufen für das Vaporeto, Kinder haben Ermässigung, das ist nicht angeschrieben, die Preise gelten für 24h es gibt Abos für mehrere Tage. Der Bus ist auch inkl. Im Hotel im Restaurant gibt es ganz feinen Prosecco. Zimmer in Richtung offenem Meer reservieren, die sind ruhiger. Viel Spass Pia Lesa meira

notre séjour s'est bien passé. le problème, s'est qu'on a mis 1h30 pour trouver l'hotel! le site nous a mal indiqué le chemin. C'est aussi un peu perdu au milieu de nul part. le buffet du matin est copieux, mais celui du soir n'est pas fameux, mieux vaut manger dehors. Ce qui est bien, c'est que l'hôtel n'est pas trop loin de Venise (bus+vaporetto) […] . Lesa meira

Meget bra hotell til denne pris hvor nydelig frokost buffet var inkludert. Herlig svømmebasseng og fine baner for tennis og fotball for trenerfrelste.Vi leide sykler og syklet til/fra ferjeleiet og dro med sykler på øyhopping da kulturbehovet var tilfredsstilt, fantastisk. Vi kommer gjerne tilbake.

Estuve recientemente en Ca´del Moro y puedo decir que si bien las habitaciones tienen las comodidades necesarias y el hotel es bastante limpio, el mantenimiento de las habitaciones deja algo que desear. Lo recomiendo como una opción económica para Venecia. Aunque está en Lido di Venezia , el camino en vaporetto es corto y Lido es bastante menos agitado […] que Venecia propiamente. Eso sí, el hotel tiene una buena cantidad de canchas de tenis, para quien busque deportes. Si, como nosotros, vas nada más a dormir, pues es una buena opción. Lesa meira

"Pour se reposer après avoir visité Venise"
Un très bel hôtel un peu perdu dans le lido mais très accessible (il faut néanmoins compter facilement 15-20mn de bus puis 15mn de vaporetto pour se rendre à la Place St Marc) Les chambres sont spacieuses et très agréables. Le gros plus de l'hotel est sa grande piscine, très très agréable en été après une journée de visite. Les transats y sont nombreux […] et il y a peu de monde dans l'eau (surtout le matin, un vrai bonheur). Point faible de l'hotel : le petit déjeuner. Le choix est vaste mais la qualité n'y est pas. Pour conclure, une adresse agréable si cela ne vous gène pas de séjourner en dehors de Venise. Les installations de l'hotel font vraiment cadre de vacances et permettent réellement de souffler entre les visites de Venise. Lesa meira
"Avsides på Lido"
To store minuser, begge i motsetning til hva som blir lovet på Hotels.coms presentasjon av hotellet: Det er IKKE internett på rommet, og det er IKKE minibar på rommet. Innholdet i en evt minibar er ikke viktig, men muligheten til å kjøle ned innkjøpt vann o,l. var sterkt savnet. Man kunne kjøpe nett-tid i resepsjonen (1 Euro for en time, men man fikk […] 2 timer så det var positivt). Greit basseng, kjip resturant. Billige greier og ikke spesielt god mat. Ville ikke dratt dit igjen, men hadde et greit opphold. For den som ønsker å oppleve Lido, og kanskje ta daglige båtturer inn til Venezia, anbefales et hotell nærmere S.M. Elisabetta, altså nord på Lido i 'hovedstaden' eller tettstedet hvor det er mer resturanter og ting som skjer. Lesa meira
"Perfekt utgangspunkt for Venezia"
Vi er en familie på 5 som tilbrakte 4 netter på Ca' del Moro i 1 dobbeltrom og 1 trippelrom. Vi ønsket et hotell nær Venezia som allikevel ga oss anledning til å slappe av og la barna få bade etter anstrengende sightseeing i Venezia. Det oppfylte Ca' del Moro. I hovedsak hyggelig betjening, fin beliggenhet og fine lokaler. Den gratis shuttle-bussen […] til vannbussterminalen var dog litt liten, så vi kjøpte periodekort til buss og båt og benyttet offentlig buss. Veldig greit; kort for 24, 36, 48 timer og lengre som ga ubegrenset bruk av buss og vannbuss i perioden. Anbefaler en tur gjennom Grand Canal med vannbuss. Lesa meira
"Hôtel Ca' del Moro au Lido"
Hôtel parfait pour personne étant en vacances (pas pressées) Très bien entretenu, un bus pour aller au vaporetto. Une belle piscine pour se reposer l'après-midi. Enfin pour passer de vraies vacances à Venise.

Nära till Lidos bad. Täta turer med buss. Lungt område En bit till andra restauranger än hotellets egen. Egna tennisbanor (avgift), gym och pool (gratis). Internet wi-fi son (avgift)
"Lyxhotell med Spa vid Gardasjö"
Om du vill ta det lugnt och koppla av efter stressiga dagar är detta hotell verkligen bra val! Det finns bara få rum och inte alls mycket folk. Det finns en härlig och modern spa avdelning där du kan själv utan mycket folk bada och koppla av. (vi var på spa avdelningen alldeles själva!) Det finns även en bassäng ute som man kan använda 24 timmar om […] dygnet- vi badade själva mitt i natten och njöt av musik och fina lampor som lyste hela bassängen. Otroligt trevlig personal! Busshållplats i närheten, som går till Desenzano, Sirmione mm Otroligt bra och fräsch frukost vilket inkl. rumpriset. Allt rent och fint! I rummet väntar badrock och tofflor som du kan använda när du rör dig i hotellets spaavdelning mm Lesa meira

"Kaukana muttei liian kaukana"
Aikuisille kulku keskustaan ok, lapsiperheille hankalampaa kulkea ruuhkaisissa busseissa (vesibussi, bussi). Paikka rauhallinen ja siisti.
"ok hotell, men dårlig service."
Vi valgte dette hotellet fordi det lå greit til på øya lido, like utenfor Venezia. Vi ønsket å kunne spille tennis mens vi var der. Det som viste seg var at tennisbanene var dyre, noe som ikke var oppgitt når vi bestilte hotellet. Selv om ingen andre spilte var det uaktuelt å få låne banene uten å betale mye. Hotellet ligger nært sjøen, men du må et […] godt stykke for å komme til sandstrand. Hotellet kunne ikke gi oss noen informasjon om Venezia. Rommene var bra men, vi kommer ikke til å velge hotellet igjen. Lesa meira
