I'm not very picky, but this was not a good place. The front desk was not polite, I got my room and opened the door and the room smelled musty. Along the bottom of the walls and the wood that held the bed up you could tell that there had been water damaged so there must have been a flood of some sort. The bathroom was so small that when I sat down my […] legs were under the sink. The towels felt almost like sandpaper. I took a video of the place and sent it to my wife and she said that she was so glad that she wasn't here with me. The only thing that I can say is that when I left in the morning there was a construction crew here working on other rooms upstairs so hopefully they are updating the place. This place was a joke. It was left behind in the 50's The towels exfoliated me very well it is a shame I didn't want exfoliation. No tissues in the room, coffee was dish water, even when I used half the water to make it.

I booked this hotel for a group of roofers who work for our company. They would not even stay there the first night but immediately left for a hotel down the street.

bathroom was too small . just to sit on the toilet, you had to get your knee under the sink. the heater in the room is too loud when it on.

This motel is perfectly fine for what it is. A cheap roadside motel. Which is what we were looking for. Neighborhood is perfectly fine. Its not bad at all. Just old. Its an old building in an old part of town. Everthing worked perfect in the room. Fridge was turned off upon arrival. Theres a knob on the inside to turn it on. Gets really cold really […] fast. AC was fine. Yea bathroom is very small. When your on the toilet the sink is pretty much in your lap. Shower looked smaller than it actually was. Plenty of room in there. Took a minute or two for water to heat up but once it did, it was really hot! And the pressure was pretty good. Our room was clean. Just old and the looked well used. Thats not a horriible thing. Of course its not a five star resort. Its in town. Not right next to the touristy areas. I was say if you take this place for what it is, and dont expect the Hershey Hotel or anything fancy, its a nice, quiet, affordable little place. We were pleased with it. Lesa meira

Terrible smell both in the room as well as the check-in office. Mold on walls, ceilings and bathroom. Carpets need replaced, stained. Beds were not comfortable.

Don't stay here. Showers were dirty, sink was dirty, and no mattress pad on the mattress. I work at a hotel and I know that if we let one of our rooms look like that we would be fired.

It was supposed to be a non-smoking room but there was a heavy stench of cigarette smoke. The neighborhood was dark and seemed dangerous. It was a very quiet place and poorly lit. Service was horrid from the rude counter.

Website said only 2 rooms available, yet when we pulled in to the parking lot there were only 6 cars parked by the office and the rest of the motel looked vacant. Staff was polite, but tiny office smelled. We were given our choice of top or bottom floors, we chose bottom and were given a room at the other end. No one around. I immediately checked for […] bedbugs, all clean! However mattress pad was stained and decided I would bring our own pillows and blankets from car and then wash them when we returned home. Duct tape on the shower door due to cracked glass. Had a nice small fridge and a coffee maker. Soap was so small it was only good for one use and towels were tiny and not enough for everyone staying in the room. This room was the cheapest room around. If that is all that matters, this is the place for you. It is not in a nice neighborhood, but KFC nearby for snacks. Within easy driving distance to Hershey Park, but further than most other motels and you will be jealous as you drive by all of the nice ones. Lesa meira

Rude, nasty and disrespectful desk staff / owner. Due to a road closing becasue of ice and snow, my wife and I decided to stay the night at the nearest hotel and the dreaded Travel Inn was it. When we made the reservation online we had no idea what we were getting into. The outside apperance of the hotel is dark and menacing and after waiting roughly […] 10 minutes for someone to come to the plexy glass window, we knew we made a mistake. The hotel room was very cold and when I called the front desk to ask for another blanket, I was asked, "Why do you need it?" After roughly twenty five minutes, I walked to the office to get the blanket and was told, "I'll bring it!" When the front desk/owner arrived in our tacky wall papered covered room he said, "it's not cold, did you turn the heat on?" I replied, yes. He then walked over the heater/air conditioning unit attached to the wall and said, "come over here, the heat is on high and it should be on low, it's only blowing air not heat". He then without explanation, turned around and walked out of the room. Just the disrespect he showed us as guest was outrageous, it was as thou he was doing us a favor by allowing use to stay at his hotel. We checked out a little later and found a Holiday Inn, where the customer service was a alot better. F.Y.I., the bathroom faucet water took over 10 minutes to become luke warm and the shower curtain was stained, dirty with mildew and brown substance. Lesa meira

still had to cut on our own heat. no heat was on. bathroom so cold couldnt take a shower, so dirty , wouldnt have wanted to. sheets on bed have human hair on them. we didnt unpack anything, the drawers we nasty.

It's ok for the price, I guess, but on an overall level, it was uncomfortable and the heater was loud and eliminated all air out of the room (I'm exaggerating but I woke up dehydrated). I have stayed in many worse hotels and by the previous reviews I was a bit worried but upon arrival it really wasn't as bad as all the other reviews said granted its not a place for children pregnant women or really any real expensive vehicles due to the neighborhood. But if your like me and you work a job were you are the road 3/4 of the year and work […] up to 20hr days 7days a week and your looking for a cheap easily accessible more of a motel then hotel to half way sleep this would be the one for you. The hotel was good for what it was- just a place to crash for a few hours in between days at the Renaissance Faire. The room was decently sized and was clean. The only bad thing I could say is its not in the best of neighborhoods and its right by a train station so you hear the train coming and going all night.

I know the price was cheap so we didn't expect much. We only needed a motel to sleep the night and shower in the morning. Room was disgusting, floor was so sticky, wouldn't let kids take off their flip flops. Was supposed to be 'non-smoking' room, but had terrible smell of smoke. This was a basic hotel. Fairly clean and had all amenities. A good place to stay overnight, but not a place to stay with kids or with other family members.

Hotel is nearby train tracks and horns go off all times of the night. Bathrooms are cramped to say the least. No fitted sheets on the bed. Office isn't open 24 hours. the hotel was not really convenient to Hershey Park and there were lots of lights on the ride. The room was clean and looked freshly painted but the shower door was cracked and had a piece of duct tape on it. Over all the place served its purpose which was a place to sleep.

I took a short notice trip and used the website, which has worked extremely well for me in the past. Unfortunately, this was an epic FAIL. THe owner, front desk clerk had nothing to support my reservation but went ahead and checked me in. The room was horrible. I used industrial air freshened to over power the musty (and cigarette smoke residue). The […] shower had mildew growing all over the tiles (I have pictures). This was the worst motel I have ever stayed at. Bathroom was discusting mold all around the shower stall. Bathroomso small you could barely sit on the toilet without bumping into the sink no hot water to take shower not that I would have used it anyway.peeling paint on inside of door dusty no alarm clock. I would not reccemend it to my worst enemy.

I was a little apprehensive about staying here at first based on the other reviews. What those reviews said may have been true then, but it was not what I found this weekend. It is an older motel, but the owners have apparently made a lot of improvements. My room was on the second floor. It was spacious, had new carpeting, new matress, new clean linens, […] and was recently painted. There was a microwave, refridgerator, coffee maker, iron and ironing board, hair dryer, and larger screen tv with cable. Yes, the bathroom was small, but how much time do you really spend there? And yes, you could hear the train, but it is a quaint old town with a rail road that runs through the middle of it. The hotel does not sit next to the tracks, and I doubt there is a single place in town that you would not hear the train when it comes through. My only negative comment would be the small, rough, towels. I have stayed in better places, but have also stayed in much worse at a much higher price. Lesa meira

This was a decent hotel for a brief visit. My only complaint is that the bathroom was very small, and had only a small soap dish for placing one's soap/shampoo/etcetera in. The baseboard heater was on the blink as well, but the air conditioner at the back of the room also provided heat, and sufficed for one night. The location is excellent, as it is right along the main road just before entering the downtown area, and there is a nice looking restaurant right next door as well as a pizza chain right across the street. This was a very old motel. Needs lots of updating. Looks like the type you'd rent by the hour! If you'd look at the back of the building.. you probably wouldn't stay here. Bathroom so small with close quarters that it makes a cruise ship bathroom look huge. You hit your head on the sink when to get up from toilet. There was mold in the grout of the […] shower.
