"Tahiti Village Las Vegas- Turn Up The Heat!"
The Hotel is amazing and I will stay there again if given the chance... But my whole party was extremely disappointed when the " heated pool and lazy river" was ICE COLD! This was the one feature that sold everyone on the idea of staying here. It seems that summer may be the only time to stay here if you plan on using the aquatic facilities.
Have stayed here previously and had a good experience. However, staff was not very friendly or helpful (did get better the next day). Concierge prices were higher than doing it yourself.

"Tahiti"
No room service, is not in the fine print, Same price per night if you saty 1 or 5 night but you would have to check out every day if you want beds made, clean room, towels, etc.
"Think twice."
The resort is placed a little far away from Las Vegas Strip. I had to take a taxi to get Strip early in the morning or late in the night. For example, my conference began 8:00 AM. This increased the travel cost. There is a separate resort fee I was required to pay, even if I didn't make use of telephones nor activities. In fact, I didn't get any notice […] of the duty of paying the separate resort fee from Hotels.com, which is very unfortunate! The cleaning is not based on daily basis. Lesa meira
"Tahiti Village"
No luggage carts. We were on the 9th floor and had to make multiple trips from distant parking. No Wifi . Had to go to the lobby to get internet service. Come on. .The lowest of the low have in room internet service The hallway had snipets of paper on the floor for 3 days. This is just not a good place to stay.
"Quiet, clean, and great handicap access"
My husband has mobility issues so we took our own scooter to help him get around. The hotel has excellent handicap access and were very accommodating. The room was excellent. If you prefer a quiet location off the strip, I recommend it. The free shuttle van to the strip is also handicap-equipped. The only complaint is that the pool hours were 10-4. […] Checkin is 4pm, checkout 10am, so if you're only spending one night, forget it. But you still pay the "resort fee" for it. Lesa meira
"Hotel LV Tahiti Village"
I booked this room during CES, the cost was quite high compared to the normal rate. The hotel was supposed to have WiFi available and since I was on business it was a key attribute, however, it did not work very well. In fact the front desk clerks knew it did not work well and directed me to certain parts of the lobby that "kind-of" worked. I explained […] that many of their guest that week needed internet and were on business and they said they would work on it. I tried this internet for four days in a row and it was never improved. One other key issue was the lack of cleaning. The hotel increased their rates for CES, but did not increase any of their service. Once you check in the hotel tells you that they will only clean your room once a week! They also tack on a resort fee to the amount you have already paid. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone on business or who wants to stay in contact with the outside world. Lesa meira
It was really nice and clean! Hotel staff was Amazing and upgraded our room, pool looked so fun but it was to cold to swim. I would stay here again and my kids want to go back in the summer!!
"Extra Extra fees hidden"
They charged me an extra $12 or so fee that they said was manditory that I never agreed to pay but they already had my credit card.
"Tourist Trap"
The room was decent for the type of resort it purported to be, but it was not entirely clean. At checkout we were told we had to pay a resort fee. There was nothing on any paperwork we signed at check in and since we prepaid at hotels.com where we booked the room, it bugged me. It was a small expense, but the fact that it was a fee tacked on to our […] stay with no explanation and no upfront warning ticked me off and I refused to pay it. The manager waived the fee, but the whole thing seemed shady to me. I won't stay there again and doubt I would recommend anyone stay there. Lesa meira
"Great experience"
I really like that there is no Casino and it doesn't smell like an ash tray I like that you don't need to walk 5 miles to your room through a smoke filled Casino I found my new favorite place to stay in Vegas

"Tahití village las Vegas"
Great hotel if you are going to visit Las Vegas with your kids. The kitchen is stocked with bowls and plates so up can make your own cereal and sandwiches which saves money. Located next too good cheap resturants. The weather was to cold to enjoy the pool but it looked like a lot of fun. Store was nice you can pick up your own bottle of wine to enjoy […] in your room The best thing ever is the free shuttle and the cheap tickets. Moorea room was great for two young kids but I would stay in the larger room when I stay again. Lesa meira
"NOT BAD FOR PRICE COMPARED TO ALL OTHERR PLACES"
NEEDS A CASINO THO
Nice Hotel, more like an apartment or Time Share. Great for big families who want to be together in the same space. They only clean the rooms every four days and we did not like that very much. Have a nice Pool and BBQ for those who want to cook outdoors. A little bit far from the Strip. All in all we enjoyed our stay and we would definitely stay there […] again if we are with a big group. I love love this resort- only a few miles from the strip, no casino - my sister and i are planning a family reunion and we intend to stay here again--absolutely recommend tahiti resort
"Service? Not Really. Tahitti Village LV Nevada"
The reservation thru Hotels.com was perfect. Everything went very smoothly. All down hill after that. The bellman was very helpful. Our room was okay. Blankets, scratchy. DVD player only in room with pullout sofa. No option in bedroom & we had two rooms. Both the same. The internet was only in the front lobby and we were two or three bldgs away. We […] had 3 and 5 yr old little girls and when we asked directions they were vague. Very vague. frustrating when you have to carry one or both kids just to get to the lobby to try and squeeze some information out of the Concierge. And who has a 10am check out time? Housekeeping came to our door 3 or 4 times between 10 and 11 (which I thought was check out) but NEVER once came and cleaned our room in three days! Had to go swap out dirty towels for clean ones. "Nice place in Las vegas - close to everything!!"
We stayed here for 2 nites. We did hear some airplane noise 1 morning as this resort is within 1/2 mile of McCarran airport. It was not a problem. The room initially smelled a little musty but we reported it to maintennce and they promptly put an ozone machine in the room for an hour or so and we did not have any more odors after that. The staff was […] very helpful. Rooms were spacious and clean. Bathroom and kitchen were also clean and well stocked. Coffee supplied in the rooms would have been nice since we were only staying 2 nites we did not expect to have to go out and purchase grounds and filters for that short of a stay. The rate for the room was very reasonable and no resort/pool taxes were charged. We would definately stay here again. We came out for the NFR rodeo - this resort is very close to the Southpoint and also to the Thomas and Mack center. Directly across from Boot Barn & the outlet mall for any last minute needs. We also ate 2 mornings at Denny's restaurant for breakfast which is located on the property - food was good and service was fast. NICE!! Lesa meira
"Family Thanksgiving"
We flew our two sons and thier wives and our grandson to Las Vegas for Thanksgiving. We booked the Tahiti Village becacuse of the large suite. This is a great place for families. The 18-month old grandson had plenty of room to run around in the room, plyed in the pool and was exhausted each and every day. Shuttle to the Strip is a plus as well. We ate […] Thanksgiving meal at Tahiti Joe's and my compliments to the chief and his staff. Everyone was pleased and overstuffed by the meal. Lesa meira
"Ash"
Clean hotel, Worst service ever. Rude staff, they don't know what is customer service. No valet service, they don't clean room on a daily basis
"Tahiti Village in Las Vegas"
An added plus to staying at this hotel is the complimentary shuttle to two locations on "The Strip" that runs conveniently every 30 minutes.
"Close to Everything, Perfect for Families"
By far this is the most family friendly place we have been to in Vegas. We have a two small kids and we spent three nights here. Room was comfortable, staff was super friendly and helpful, location was perfect. Close enough (one mile) from strip that if you wanted to drive it was super easy. The hotel shuttle to the strip ran every half hour, and there […] was also one to Fremont Street (which was amazing, a must see). Pool was large and great for kids, hot tub was most welcome. They even have kids activities and games scheduled each day! If you like to shop, location was right in the middle of the outlet mall and the Town Square. You can walk to the shops at the outlets and there are lots of chain restaurants there too. With the price we got on a room, no reason to look any further if you have kids or want a nice, relaxing stay away from the Strip--but don't want to be too far from the action. Will stay again, for sure. Lesa meira

"Great place"
Does not have daily maid service!!!
"Would not stay again"
We had hoped this would be a nice getaway for us this past weekend, but we were let down. The most horrible part of the stay was a cold shower every day! And I'm serious when I say cold I got our shivering and miserable. We were staying with another couple who had their own room they also experienced the same cold showers. We spoke with many other guests […] during our stay and they too were taking cold showers. If you ask me a resort of this size should be prepared to serve the entire place with hot water not matter what the weather, the amount of people etc. We won't be coming back. Lesa meira
"Thiti village, Las Vegas"
Hotels .com did an exceptional job handling the reservations and explaining what the hotel had to offer. I should have realized there was a problem when days before I could never get anyone at the hotel to answer the phone. I called Hotels.com and they said as long as information that was emailed was correct not to worry. I still tried even the day […] of departure to contact Tahiti Village and still no answer. Not only were the two rooms not adjoing as I requested they were smoking rooms as well and they smelled horrible, they were so bad you could not even walk into them. Back at the desk I was told they were over booked and the only room available was a ADA compliant room that had an adjoining room. So short counters and a wheelchair friendly bathroom (shower only) where the water goes everywhere. and made for a huge slip hazard. We ended up using our towels as a dam to keep it mostly dry. This is the only place I have stayed where you had to ask for towels which was wierd as we were told to leave the dirty ones in the hall on the floor and they would be replaced by clean ones which did not happen. I was also told it would be an extra charge if someone did come and clean the room. I travel about 12 times a year and was disappointed by how we were not taken care and kinda of got the "sorry were are slammed" and be glad you got a room. Lesa meira

"Tahiti Village"
I would recommend anyone and their families to stay. I would stay here again.
"Tahiti Village"
Really liked that there weren't any casinos on site-was very family friendly. The pools were great and there were a lot of attendants and lifeguards watching the kids. Negatives-No natural light in kitchenette and poor artificial lighting in area, drain was clogged in bathroom and front desk said they would fix it but never came to do it.
"Tahitti village Las Vegas"
Tahitti Village surprised and surpassed my expectations. About one mile past Mandalay Bay on the strip was a little oasis in the desert. Very clean very friendly location with very spacious rooms and well presented hallways. The pool and Lazy river were a great addition to the hotel. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who goes to Las Vegas.

"A Do-It-Yourself Resort"
When I first booked for this resort, I was expecting it to be like any other hotel where someone comes in every morning to clean the room for you. Not this one. They only clean once if you stay for 7 nights. We stayed for 4 and were in need of towels and we had bugs crawling around. But to ask for room maintenance costs extra. And the lights in our […] room were very dim. My toddler was scared throughout our stay. The good thing about the place was that it was quiet, had friendly staff, wasn't crazy smoky like the other hotel casinos on the strip and they had plates and glasses for you to use, a good fridge and microwave. But we of course had to clean the dishes ourselves. Another thing was the shower door came off when I was trying to leave the shower and before we left, a car got vandalized. Maybe it was just a coincidence. But I think our family will stay at a different hotel next time we visit Las Vegas. Lesa meira
"Nice hotel, bad service."
Very nice rooms, lobby and pool area and would be a great stay if you can predict that will not need anything to do with customer service. The location is very convenient, it is also very loud because it is so close to the airport. Our room was very nice, the only down side was that it was such a long walk from the car, inside to the elevators and then […] back down to our room on the 4th floor. We at times (bringing in groceries, loading and unloading would prop the fire escape door open and just use the stairs, it saved us 10+ minutes. Also after checking in you have to go obtain a parking permit in the concierge line, I stood in line for about 10minutes and finally left (the guy at the check in counter said someone would be at the parking lot checking permits) for a Monday through Friday stay we never saw anyone, ever checking parking permits. Also if you want access to the internet be prepared to pay, and it is expensive 10$ a day? My vote is if you stay here it will be okay, but if it is between this place and the other place, choose the other. Lesa meira
"Tahiti Village - Great place for families"
My family (7 people from 3 households) stayed here in a 2-bedroom suite. Very large, spacious, comfortable, clean. Pools and lazy river were great for the kids. Grocery delivery service was wonderful. Close enough to the strip to use the shuttle or a short cab ride. We were all pleased with our stay and enjoyed it very much. Would stay there again for […] sure. Recommend it to anyone. Lesa meira

Great place to stay. Highly recommended.
"October 2011 stay @ Tahiti Village"
If you're looking for nice and quiet this is the place to go. Not so far off the strip to make seeing shows inconvenient but we loved having about half the hike to go down the pool and not having to wade through throngs of drunks. The downside is that if you are a true gambler Tahiti's definition of "gaming" is the few games available at the bar. No […] late night gambling unless you plan on a taxi or have a car. We stayed in the Bora Bora suite for 6 days. No sign of housekeeper, but they were very prompt about exchanging out towels. The suite, which includes a kitchen, is well appointed with most everything you'll need. Lesa meira
"Nice Place Not so Nice Check Out"
I really liked staying at the Tahiti Village Resort in Vegas. The positives were definetly the pools and the lifeguards especially the one young man with the long hair, he was very polite to pool guests. I had a few issues which are noted below. 1. Room was not cleaned daily like a hotel. 2. No shampoo was in the second bathroom so we had to switch […] bottle between both rooms. 3. Had to call for more clean towels and it took a while finally went to pool area and used those for shower. 4. When checking in I asked about late check out and was told call the morning of check out and that the latest would be 11:00 am. versus 10:00 a.m. I called and was told they do not have late check out on Sunday. I told them I felt they should have told me that upon check in and not wait till the day I want to check out. Lady on phone had an attitude so I politely said thank you and hung up. Overall I would give this resort another try :) Lesa meira

"Tahiti Village Resort Review"
We came here for something a little different for the family vacation. We searched on yahoo for someplace in Las Vegas with neat pools that's family oriented, and this place came up. Didn't want the big "casino" feeling. Read other reviews of this place and it sounded good. We rented a room with a balcony and a separate bedroon. It had a full size refridgerator, […] microwave, built in dishwasher (with soap), toaster, coffee maker, (with coffee). The place was very clean, and the rooms were well stocked with all the items needed for the kitchen, (plates, silverware etc.). There was an inroom washer/dryer with soap. They also included soap to wash the utensils and kitchen towels. There was an ironing board with iron in one of the closets. There's a big screen tv complete with a dvd player in the living room, as well as in the master bedroom. Also a stereo in the living room. The bathroom was pretty big, had two sinks, a jacuzzi tub and a shower that could also be used as a steam room. There's seat in the shower to sit on while "steaming" should you wish. The BBQ area was cleaned daily, and utensils were provided by the front desk. The pools were clean and heated, and the kids loved the "lazy river". Our biggest "complaint" (such as it is) was that the mattress in the master bedroom was too hard for our liking, (a personal issue), but by no means a bash against the place. This is a time share place that operates as a hotel as well, so there's owners mixed in with "hotel guests". There's no daily "maid service" if you stay for less than seven days, but if you're there for seven or more days, then the maids come in every third or fourth day I think they said. It's a couple of miles south of the "strip", so you're away from the hustle and bustle, but not too far should you want to go. There's shuttle busses from the Tahiti Village to the strip, but we didn't use them. Some of the reviews mentioned the noise from the airport, so that was a concern. Well it seemed that the fli Lesa meira
