When planning a trip Venice we were advised not to stay in or very close to Venice. So we decided on this hotel only 30 min drive to Venice. And we hit the jackpot. This hotel is royalty. The garden surrounding the hotel is HUGE and very romantic. The hotel is like nothing else. It’s more like a mansion. The room was very big, more like a suite. I could not believe the elegance for this price. The whole time we stayed there I was expecting someone to slap me in the face and charge me three times more. We are still amazed by value for our money. It’s like something from the TV show bachelor. Highly recommended.

Dorsoduro is home to the great art institutions of the Gallerie dell'Accademia and the Peggy Guggenheim Collection, and the landmark church of Santa Maria della Salute. However those who take the time to explore the area, and particularly the eastern section, will find some of Venice’s most picturesque squares and alleys. The area also benefits from the influence of the university with some lively bars and nightlife (rare in Venice).

"Beautiful hotel in Beautiful Setting"
The hotel is beautiful right on the canal, across the Gritti Palace Hotel. It is very high style and the front desk personnel are not only attractive but also very helpful. The rooms and bathrooms are unique and modern, but for me, the style compromises some comfort, eg, the metal floor tiles were loose and the gold, mirror and glass everywhere in the […] bathroom made it feel too fragile although beautiful to look at. Some rooms are too small. I ordered a hamburger with fries for a child and the hamburger was seasoned with curry! The menu said nothing about the addition of this strong flavor so I returned it but it wasn't as easy to return as it should have been. Very upsetting to the child unable to get a straightforward hamburger. The breakfast which was included, is great, and the restaurant couldn't be more beautiful, especially sitting outside in the morning right over the canal with a delicious cup of coffee. The gym is tucked away and seems like an afterthought with only 3 machines. It seems there should be a spa or swimming pool to give the place some amenities. But if you are looking for a unique hotel where every room and bathroom looks like art, it is an experience worth while. Venice in general is very expensive and this hotel is very costly for drinks, minibar, internet, etc. Lesa meira

Hotel had the potential to be a wonderful experience, but do to maintaince issue with the shower, and attitude of the staff, was not a hotel that I would stay at again. I expected more from this hotel.

Nice hotel. Very modern. Deluxe room was slightly small. Bathroom was also slightly small. Hotel was across the water from San Marco square (main square in Venice). Had to catch ferry to get there each time. Otherwise, staff very helpful. Modern decor, food was good. we had to change room as the first room was obviously design for the look and not the comfort mainly in the bath room. The location of the hotel is on the other side of the Grand Canal and most of the place to visit requires a walk through the Academia bridge or take a cross gondola. "Centurian Hotel"
Room 203 was strange. When you walked in the door the glass shower was right in front of you. The strangest thing was when you sat on the bed you the could see the shower, toilet and the bidet. There was NO way to block the view. The bathroom walls were glass with a glass door into the bathroom so there was no privacy at all. This was not a comfortable […] thing. I don't know why they would make a completely transparent room!!! We had 3 rooms and this was the only odd room. I would not stay in that room again. "Great Location."
I spent 4 nights here. When we checked in the front desk they advised us the the hotel had open 30 days ago and if I had encountered any problems let them know. They gave me very charming room but rather small for the price. We soon discovered that the shower (which was a curved glass stall) had a bad leaking problem. The hotel immediately up graded […] us to a much bigger room. The hotel in very modern Italian within an old venetian palace. It's in a great neighborhood on the Grand Canal. "Lyx"
Perfekt läge. Snygg design i de allmänna utrymmena. Vårt Delux-rum var relativt litet men rent och fräscht, dock ingen kanalutsikt. Bra frukost med allt man kan önska sig. Artig och hjälpsam personal. För den som inte bryr sig så mycket om priset kan jag varmt rekommendera detta hotell

Førsteinntrykket av hotellet: WOW!! Personalet var veldig hjelpsom og servicevennlig! Hotellrommet var stort, lyst og man fikk en varm følelse! Frokosten var super! For 10€ ekstra fikk man maten brakt på rommet (må oppleves)! Taxibåt fra hotellet arrangeres også! Men den offentlige båt-bussen har stoppested like ved hotellet.
