Starfsfólkið lagði sig allt fram um að aðstoða mig eins og það gat. Einnig var jákvætt hversu auðvelt var að bóka á netinu. Það sem mér finnst að mætti bæta er að hægt sé að láta hótelið vita að maður þurfi transport frá flugvelli og að hægt sé að panta skutluna fyrirfram. Þurfti smá leiðbeiningu um það hvar ég ætti að hringja á hótelið og hvert ég ætti að fara til að hitta á skutluna.

The Eixample suburb was created 1860–1920 and consequently holds the city’s finest Modernist buildings. The Passeig de Gràcia is the main artery, its wide pavements lined with designer shops and chic cafes. It is also home to Gaudí’s two fairy-tale masterpieces, Casa Batlló and La Pedrera, plus many other architectural gems. The undoubted star of the Eixample is La Sagrada Familia, Gaudí’s fabulous unfinished emblematic church.

We only spent one night here while we were in Barcelona, but we loved this hotel. They let us check in early (we arrived from the US on a 9 am flight), took care of our luggage, and even upgraded us to a nicer room. The bed was very comfortable (and we were very tired). But the best part of the hotel is its location. This street is a great launching […] off place, and much quieter than the Passieg de Gracia, which is just one street over. Lots of shops (although most are on Gracia) and restaurants with outside seating all along the tree-covered walkway in the middle of the road. I would stay here again in a heartbeat. Lesa meira

Well located boutique hotel with a relaxing, modern atmosphere. Exemplary service that made us feel comfortable and welcome. "Decent Hotel"
We stayed at the Murmuri for in August for 3 nights during our honeymoon. The hotel was clean and nice, but our room was a bit small. The hotel was a bit of a walk to the main strip, but was still a reasonable walking distance. BEWARE: Do not use the lock on the bathroom door! I made that mistake and was locked in the bathroom for 45 minutes! Had to […] wait until the maintenance man came over from another hotel and broke the door down. Lesa meira
"Great hotel for comfort and sights"
Away from the constant swell of people on the Ramblas south of Pla Catalunya this hotel is convenient placed close to metro Diagonal on the Rmbla de Catalunya (~10 mins walk). Very convenientty placed for the Manzana de Discordia, Casa Batló, La Pedrera, Sagarda Familia, Tapiés museum, and also the less well known but highly recommended Fundacio Godia […] (Carrer Disputacio). Francesco on the front desk was very helpful and knowledgable; if you require suggestions for things to do he is your man. Rooms are large and comfortable and bathrooms are well designed, clean, and showers have a good strong jet. We ate in the restaturant ajoining the hotel one evening and were pleasantly suprised by the food quality. All in all a very enjoyable stay. Lesa meira
"The Murmuri in Barcelona - a wonderful experience."
We arrived early in the day and our room was not yet ready, so had to check our luggage with the desk clerk. When we returned later and rode the glass elevator up to our gorgeous room, our luggage was there, the bed was turned down, and chocolates were waiting. This hotel is a class act from start to finish. The room was well appointed, the beautiful […] bath room had a shower large enough to dance a waltz in, and the whole feel was of understated elegance with modern lighting controls (Welcome, Ambience, TV Viewing, Night). The staff is knowledgeable and gave us directions to train connections and the names of restaurants for the best paella. Our wakeup call was on time and our taxi was ordered and waiting for us. If we return to Barcelona we won't shop for another hotel, the Murmuri more than satisfied all our needs with style. Lesa meira

"Location, location, location - At a price"
Nice boutique hotel in a prime location in the Example. However, the quality and size of the room was somewhat lower than what I expected at the price. While the room was clean, it was beginning to show some signs of wear and tear (soiled carpets, some worn surfaces). The quality of the fixtures and fittings were very high. What you're primarily paying […] for at this price point is the location. You're right in the middle of the Example's high-rent district, with all the name brands to prove it. If that's important to you, this is a great option, as other hotels in the immediate area have much higher rates. However, if you want to travel outside of the immediate neighborhood to visit the tourist sites, or spend extensive time south in the Gayxample, then there are less-expensive options with similar or higher quality. "Murmuri Hotel is a real jewel in Barcelona"
It was easy for our taxi driver from the airport to find. When the desk clerks saw us opening the front door they literally ran to get our luggage. They spoke very fluent English, showed us our booked room (the less expensive "design room", and when we inquired about a balcomy, found an available superior class room with a balcony right on La Rambla […] Catalunya that we upgraded to for a modest additional price. They were helpful with maps and directions during our 4-day stay, and made sure our taxi was there early for our 6:00 AM departure to the airport. The room was large, extremely comfortably appointed, with a huge modern bathroom, extremely clean, and the balcony was a really neat touch. The bed (two twins together) was very large and extremely comfortable. The lights system where you put your key card in a slot and the lights all come on (or go out when you leave it) took just a bit of getting used to, but was a neat touch. The location, just a block from Gaudi's Mila building, and quickly walkable to Las Ramblas and Sagrada Familia, was perfect. We loved the Murmuri and highly recommend it to anyone going to Barcelona. If you like staying in nice hotels, this is really one of them. It is a very strong 4-star, and deserves its top rating. We did not use the restaurant or bar, as we were out touring and ate at local places or had wine in our room, but they both looked very nice. I much preferred the Murmuri's location to hotels on the old quarter's Las Ramblas, as it was a more upscale neighborhood, quieter, but with still enough going on. It was just steps from the subway, and a block from the 24 bus that takes you to Parc Guell. Very convenient location. The Murmuri is an attractive hotel and looks better than the little icon you see with its top floor windows. We highly recommend the Murmuri, and if we ever get back to Barcelona, will absolutely stay there again. Lesa meira
"A nice hotel in a good location"
The Murmuri is located on the Rambla De Catalunya. We found this a very convenient location. In two and a half days we easily visited the major sites, ate out at good restaurants, and did a bit of shopping, all either on foot or hopping on and off the tourist bus which stops a block or so from the hotel and allows you to get a good overview of what […] the city has to offer - a lot! Our room was very comfortable, certainly large enough ( 4th floor superior level room) and with large french doors opening ontoviews on the street in front of the hotel. When open you could enjoy the street scene, when closed, most noise was eliminated. The room was very well equipped. We did find the lighting system a bit confusing at first, but there are several options to play with and individual lamps available as well. The bahtroom had plenty of space and everything worked well. One issue - getting into and out of the bath is a bit tricky as the side is quite high and the opening in the glass sides is not that wide. The shower is in the bath, so if one has mobility issues, taking a bath or shower could be a bit difficult. That aside, my only problem with the hotel was its internet policy. There is a charge for internet access and a Byzantine system with half-hour, forty-five minute, and 24 hour options. Only the 45 minute option allows you to stop the time when you log in and out (if you are careful to follow the instructions) and the charge for those 45 minutes is nearly 9 euros! Apparently this is a policy of the hotel group. We stayed in 10 different hotels on this trip to France and Spain, both more and less expensive, and all the others had some system for accessing the internet without charge. I was not the only guest complaining about this policy and when we checked out, the morning manager said he had spoken to his superior and that they hoped to be able to provide free access in the future. "散歩気分でバルセロナ！"
ホテルムルムリは、バルセロナの中心部で地下鉄ｄｉａｇｏｎａｌ駅から名所巡りにも便利。 ホテルの前はランプラス通りでオシャレなブティツクや沢山のバル・・・・早朝は素敵な老夫婦が散歩しながらベンチで寛ぎ、夜は若者が夜明けまで盛り上がる街の様子が楽しめるホテルです。ホテルのスタッフの中に、沖縄で仕事経験のある方がいらして、日本人を快く受け入れてくださいました。ただ、初日ベットメイクにチップをおかないで、外出したら、シャワージェルやテッシュの補充がなく、翌日から枕にチップを置きました。「サービスはチップしだい！」スペインはチップの必要性はアメリカほどではないと認識していましたが、心がけていたほうが無難ですね。

Hotellet ligg veldig sentralt. Du kan gå til det meste. Likevel merka vi ingen støy. Det var kjempehyggeleg og roleg å bu her. Fantastisk hyggeleg og hjelpsamt personale. Nydeleg rom med koseleg terasse. Supert reinhald og kjempebra roomservice. Vi kjøpte mat ute for det meste, men hadde ein fortreffeleg middag på hotellet også med nydeleg mat og flott […] service. "Absolut opholdet værd i Barcelona"
Hotellet ligger i den fine ende ar Ramblayen som er gågaden i Barcelona. Selve gågaden hedder La Rambla og Hotellet ligger i den rolige ende hvor gaden ændrer navn til Rambla De Catalunya. Hotellet var meget flot indrettet med en dejlig seng og kæmpe gulv til loft vinduer. Stilen var moderne og placeringen suværen i forhold til byen. Alle seværdigheder […] er tæt på hotellet. Der var slet ingen larm, at høre fra gaden og vores vindue var mod gågaden. Servicen er helt i top og værelserne ligeså. Der ligger utallige cafeer, restauranter og shopping muligheder lige udenfor døren. Bussen som ankommer fra lufthavnen standser ved Placa De Catalunya som ligger mellem Ramblaen og Rambla De Catalunya hvor hotellet ligger. Ca. 10 minutters gågang. Parallelt med selvsamme gågade er Boulevarden Passeig De Grácia som er ekstrem bred med luksus butikker næsten hele vejen. Værelset vi havde var et superior room med skrivebord, tv, 2 skabe, seng, sofastol og cafébord. Badeværelset var stort med badekar og masser af hånd- og badeklæder. Hele oplevelsen vil jeg bedømme til 10 ud af 10. Ved næste ferie i Barcelona vil vi helt klart uden, at tvivl vælge selvsamme hotel. Det er nyt og man hører ingen larm inde fra hotellet heller. Hyggelig Lounge café er der også i hotellet. Vi nåede aldrig, at spise på hotellet og det skyldes, at vi var ude det meste af dagen. God oplevelse. Lesa meira
