"Map to motel is incorrect"
The online map to the motel is incorrect. It is located on Dean Martin Dr. south of Tropicana, not south of Blue Diamond as indicated on the map.
"Stay Suites of America Las Vegas"
I did not receive room service for the entire time I was here. When I went to go get some fresh towels from the front desk they did not apologize and gave me excuse after excuse as to why my room had not been serviced. The bathtub was so dirty and rusty that I wore shoes when taking a shower. I was very pleased with the location of this motel. The people who work there were very helpful and friendly. I was told it was not in a nice area. I found it to be safe and did not find anything unpleasant. It has a high fenced in area, which made me feel safe to leave my car out all night. The room was clean and comfortable. "sketchy neighborhood but perfectly good night here"
I rolled into this hotel at about 10 pm on a friday night with a dozen young women on a field trip, and we were a little sketched out by the neighborhood (it is desolated and feels a little sketchy, but you could walk to the strip in about 20 mins from there). "Don't waste your money!"
We arrived at the hotel room to find it dirty, the floor had not been vacuumed, there was mold in the bathroom tile, the drywall next to the bathtub was rotted so there was a large hole where the baseboard should have been. "does not live up to description"
Not a suite hotel - lock to room not secure -previous guest can get into room if they keep the key. hskg did not clean room on 3rd day after 3 calls to office finally was able to get clean towels at 8pm. room cleaaaaaan on check in & beds comfortable . Would not have stayed 3 nites if we had not paid in advance

"Turn around go back dont do it!!"
Upon arrival nasty bathroom......bed wasnt comfortable, hard to get housekeeping to clean room, had to go to walmart to get bleach and disinfect spray didnt trust room.....okay location from strip.
"Absolutely Worse I have experienced"
In an effort to save money, I have spent many nights in cheap motel rooms. Stay Suite Las Vegas South takes the phrase “Cheap Motel” to another level. Here is a list what is wrong with this place: • Smoky Room-I booked a non-smoking room, yet I got a room reeks with smoke smell. Was told sorry but we do not have another room available. • No TV remote-called […] around 5PM right after I have checked in and was told the maintenance man is off work. • TV channel up button does not work-so I am changing the channels manually and discovered the only the down button works and the up channel button does not work. • Lamp was not plug in-in order to plug in need to access AC wall plug behind the bed. So the bed needed to be moved in order to plug in the lamp. • Charged $10 deposit for an old fashion key • No hangers in the entire closet area (not a single hanger to hang my pants and shirt) • No ice machine! Are you kidding me? This is Las Vegas. • Toilet won’t flash-it takes 3 flashes to clear the toilet In all fairness, here is a list of Pros: • Staff was friendly • Nice location • Plenty of parking • Room were clean • Nice microwave and dorm size refrigerator The bottom line: Even though it is budget, cheap room, I still expect some minimal standards. STAFF WAS VERY HELPFUL, ESPECIALLY THE SECURITY GUARD.
"Stay Suites not so sweet"
The mattress is wrapped in plastic, no bedspread, no cover on the light or fan in the bathroom, no TV remote. The location was convinent but definately not a nice place.
"Good deal, close to strip"
I think this hotel is trying to overcome past history. Grand opening had great rates, even if internet didn't work. It wasn't cleaned every day, but was very adequate, nice staff.
Convenient is key but not a three star. No irons or hairdryers. friendly staff for the most part. Its new ownership hasn't worked out all the bugs yet but I'd still stay there again.
"Americana 5 Inn in Las Vegas"
Quite possibly the worst room I have ever slept in. Good points included an okay bed, hot water, relatively quiet. Room was marked up, tiles were broken, absolutley filthy behind the furniture. Daily maid service was only availabe if you asked for it. I didn't find this out until I checked out. Stay away. Far, far away.
"Bad experience"
Our room was not cleaned the entire stay. There were not enough towels, and office would not provide any more. They charge for shampoo, lotion, soap, etc.
"Get what you pay for"
It was nice, the attendent was nice, one problem: There was NO garbage can AT ALL in the motel, not one anywhere. Not in the bathroom or the bedroom. None. Fix that and we will be good! :)
"I feel used."
When we checked in, the clerk charged me another $38. Of all the times I have used Hotels.com, I have never been charged again when checking in. When we checked out, they wanted to charge us another $60. What a scam!! The room at three towels and they would not give us anymore. When we asked for new towels, we were given to wash clothes instead. The […] office charged us for shampoo, lotion, etc. The room was never clean during our 4 night stay. "You Get More Than You Paid For"
This is a cheap hotel with bad reviews. I expected a lot worse than I found. The front desk was very professional, polite and friendly. Second, the room may be a little old and worn, yet it was clean. I'm sure people stay here because of the bottom of the barrel rates. "I did not sleep a wink."
We booked this room on a budget and the same day we left to Vegas. The price seemed fair and the location was perfect bc it was near the strip and near the location for the occasion we were attending. The pictures of the rooms were also very clean and homie, so we thought we hit the jackpot. When we arrived the outside was as in the photos, not all […] that great. We checked in and were greeted by hotel management, very courteous. We went up to our room and when we opened the door it was NOT like the photos, my bed was firm on one side and on the other side if you sat on it you would slide off, the vanity light did not work, it smelled like wet rag and the back board of the bed was loose and broken. I called down and asked to be changed room please, the politely obliged and we were set up in another room. All seemed to work in the new room, it still did not resemble the rooms on the site, but @ this point we didn't care we needed some rest. When i went to turn on the AC the sound it made was unbelievable it sounded like a cat was being murdered with a dash of my fan belt in my car was going crazy! we left it on for a while and to see if maybe it would go away, but then the people to the right of us started banging on the wall, so we turned it off. The next day, Saturday night after we came back from the event we got ready to go to bed about 12am and at about 2am we hear massive fighting, and yelling from the room to the left of us, seems like they decided to have a party and it went sour and they got into an loud verbal argument right outside our window that was opened bc the AC did not function. I am not sure how management did not hear that. The arguments continued off and on till about 5am, we were to scared to call management for fear that they might find out it was us. My heart was racing the whole night and i did not sleep a wink. we left sunday morning half asleep and very tired.
