The staff here were aiming to please, the hot breakfast had a great variety and was fresh. The room was big with a luxurious feel. And the price is right!!!

When we initially walked in to check in, I knew that we were going to be pleased with our stay. The service we received was nothing less than personable as well as professional. We were totally pleased with the hotel and it's staff. The room was spacious, clean and very nicely decorated! The front desk area also looked amazing and spacious....loved […] the floor plan and decor!! We dined for breakfast and the food was DELICIOUS and FREE!! I would highly recommend this hotel for anyone who wants a great stay and great service while traveling. Location is right off the freeway...easy to locate and around other businesses. "holiday inn denton tx"
the hotel was nice on the inside. it is in a rough looking part of town. the room was small. we went so the kids could go swimming. and they did have a good time and i must say i enjoyed the hot tub. so our over all experience was alright.

The hotel staff were pleasant enough and the hotel was very clean. However, we stayed 4 nights and had to ask for additional towels 2 of the nights because there were not enough supplied in our room. We used the hot tub one night and there were NO towels in the pool area. The breakfast was good, however it was exactly the same food all four mornings. […] It could be jazzed up a bit with something different, such as waffles, at least once. Also, the food was hot, but plates were very cold and the food was cold by the time we reached our table . Myself, my wife, and both of my young daughters stayed here on an overnight trip to Houston. We were very pleased with the condition, service, and overall hospitality of this hotel. We will DEFINITELY be staying here again.

Holiday Inn was very lovely to stay in. I was there over New Year's Weekend and pleased to see Christmas decor still up and Christmas music still playing. The beds were super comfy and the shower was incredibly relaxing. I was dissappointed by the breakfast buffet. There were eggs to order, but either fried or scrambled. Would have been nice to have […] other options like omelets, eggs with peppers in them, etc. There was also the same pancakes and biscuits and gravy. Variety would have been nice like waffles, french toast, or other breakfast options. Service was great. Also would be nice if Holiday Inn had the option to reuse towels to save on laundry. I stayed for 4 days and they changed my linens everyday. It wasn't necessary. Overall, I will stay there again. Lesa meira

"Our second stay this year"
This is a very nice hotel. It is pretty new. The street is new enough that it was not on my car's navigation (had to use my phone's NAV ). Everyone has been nice both times we have stayed here. My two complaints from the first time we stayed here were: 1.) no free breakfast 2.) the WIFI did not work very well. It bairly worked in our room the first […] trip. Both of the above complaints were resolved by the hotel this trip. The free breakfast was very good. The chef even made some items especially for us. The pool / workout area is nice & indoor, so good for December weather. We definitely will stay at this Holiday Inn the next time in Denton. Lesa meira

I tend to be a little bit of a clean freak so when I say a hotel is clean, it's usually extra clean. The Holiday Inn Denton is clean. The only negative to my stay was a noise issue due to a party on the thrid floor. I called down to the front desk twice in the span of an hour and a half. Finally someone went up and asked the party to be quiet. Denton […] itself is a quaint town with some fun shops. The only problem is, everything closes at 6. Lesa meira

"Getting Breakfast can be confusing"
The hotel is nice really nice, with an onsite restaurant. My kids found getting breakfast a little confusing as they give out paper tickets based upon the age of the child. I dont understand why they just dont lay out breakfast like there competitors down the street. Without a ticket you are charged for the meal

"Hotel built on the cheap"
We stayed in one of the Double Queen Mini Suites. At first appearance, this hotel was nice. That's because its pretty much brand new. As we went up to our room, the actual building quality was noticeable. I have a light footstep and it sounded like I was stomping down the hall. There seemed to be voids in the subfloor that you could feel under the […] hall carpet. Late that night, we could hear the "conversation" of the couple in the room next to us. Early the next morning, there was the lovely pitter-patter of a family of elephants above us. To top it off, the linens were cheap. If you give us a pillow selection (soft or firm), then give us comforter! All we had were sheets and two thin coverlets. The only bright side to our stay, was the breakfast vouchers we received with our reservation. I'm not too picky about hotels, as long as I have clean, comfortable linens and can sleep without interruption. This hotel failed on both counts. Lesa meira

This is an excellent hotel. My family and I had a great night sleep with continental breakfast included. The room was clean and with good amenities. Becareful when looking up directions as it can be quite tricky finding this hotel.

Comfortable suite, big bed. Very hot water. Good number of UNT fans stayed there for Homecoming and the hotel had the World Series on for everyone in the bar. They were even nice enough to have some UNT colors up in the hotel. Staff was friendly and let us check out a little late so we could attend an event without carting our bags around. "Convenient one night stay"
We stayed here for one night before a competition at UNT the next day. Access to UNT was incredibly easy, and the hotel was a wonderful experience. Quick check-in and out, clean room, no problems at all.
"Great Stay but beware wait staff in restaraunt"
Great location, very clean, front desk was awesome upon check-in and out. The room was very nice and organized, nothing was missing. But in the morning, we had the breakfast buffett and possibly received the worst service ever! And for that matter, it left a sour taste in our mouth about possibly ever staying there again.

There aren't a ton of decent hotel choices in Denton, TX, but this Holiday Inn is almost certainly the best choice available. It is basically brand new, very clean and comfortable, with a decent restaurant and bar inside and a nice lobby. Room was spacious, clean and comfortable, nice bed. Less than great stay. Air conditioning unit was awkwardly placed and very loud making sleeping difficult. No soap tray, pillows were very uncomfortable, and television was a bit antiquated with limited channel selection. Also, no bathroom fan which is pretty useful for a lot of reasons. Staff was pleasant but cursory in their interactions.

I used to live in Denton for years and I can easily say that this is the best place you can grab a room that's worth more than what they're asking. The building still looks brand new inside and out. It's minutes from both UNT and TWU while being tucked far enough away from the highway to make one the quietest places to rest your head in town. "UNT Visit"
Holiday Inn and Suites exceeded all of my expectations. Having visited the area in the past, our hotel experience before was not great (Not a Holiday Inn). This hotel was full service (restaurant, bar, room service). The rooms were spacious and clean and the beds had tons of pillows and good linens. We had room service delivered early the next morning […] and the food was delivered in a timely manner and was surprisingly good. Due to Inclement weather some of the water pipes burst and the water had to be turned off. We didn't have water back until 3am. Dispite this the staff was still very friendly.

Only problem with hotel is that you can hear every door in hall slamming when shutting. Woke me up starting at 5AM. Very loud!!

"Denton's hotel-on the outskirts of Dallas"
This hotel was very clean and elegant for the price. I have come here before and plan to return in the future because my stay has been very comfortable and quite. It is not close to a noisy street either.
