mjög gott og velstaðsett, ganagar herbergið mjög snyrtilegt , kanski mætti hressa aðeins þar sem morgunmaturinn er borin fram en ekkert sem er allvarlegt, þjónustan til fyrirmyndar, takk kærlega fyrir okkur eigum örugglega eftir að koma til ykkar aftur..

Allt viðmót starfsmanna einkenndist af gleði. Það er þetta sem er svo smitandi. Allt var gert af þvílíkri umhyggju að ég mun mæla með þessu hóteli. Þarna er auðvelt og stutt að komast inn til Crawley, sem er sætur lítill bær og þar er hægt að fá ódýra leigubíla með innkaupin heim á hótelið. Þetta er United Cars,,co.uk.. Þeir koma líka til Gatwick Airport, en þá sækja þeir mig þar sem bílaleigurnar eru og kostar miklu minna en leigubílar af flugvellinum. Njótið kveðja, Ingigerður.

We were two women, mother and daugther, aged 82 and 59 staying for 6 days. Arrived 2 hours early for check-in and the friendly staff checked if we could get our rooms at once, no problem. The hotel is beautifully decorated, although not fully renovated. The cleanness is fine. We had excellent English breakfast in the morning and later heard from a taxi-driver that the eggs came from a farm owned by the hotel owners with ,,happy hens" wantering around the estate. Entertainment 3 nights a week was cheerful and aimed at the age group that is most common at the hotel 60-90 years old. The unimportant (for us at least) downsides are that the free WiFi internet connection is at neighbourhood hotel, but it was free and it worked, so this is a minor issue. TV is not satellite, but who comes to Eastbourne for TV? Last the telephone in one room was not working, but the staff did it's utmost to solve this ending by moving my mother to another room. A few steps up to the main entrance may be difficult for some people this age. Overall we had the perfect stay at this pleasant stay, chatting with the ladies visiting and the pianist in the lobby. Had a very good Sunday dinner and if we return to Eastbourne this is the hotel we want to return to. Helpful staff, nice surroundings and cleanness, also nice location by the sea, yet a few minutes away from the more noisy bars, is the reason.

"Terrific Little Hotel"
The Beach Hotel didn't look like much at first. We were expecting a very basic hotel. But, we were floored when we opened the door to our room to discover one of the nicest hotel rooms we've ever had. The decor was comfortable and modern and there was a terrific view of Regency Square and the sea (and the Pier in the distance) out our large window. […] Breakfast was delicious and truely made the price we paid a bargain. The hotel needs to spend a little money renovating the public spaces as they have the rooms (or, at least, our room), but this place was a gem that we wouldn't hesitate to recommend. We just spent one night there, but everything was good. The hotel is in a great position on sea front and only a short walk from Brighton Centre, Brighton Pier and other main attractions. The bed was comfortable, the room and bathroom clean and the breakfast was excellent: a good selection of cold & hot food & drinks, on a self-serve basis. A friend and I stayed for 1 night last week and really enjoyed it-we could see the sea from our beds, the room was clean and the beds were comfortable. The breakfast was fine and parking in the underground car park opposite-£12.50/24hrs-was convenient. I would definitely stay here again.
"Great Location in need of decorating!!!!"
This could be a fantastic hotel if they decorated!!! We had a lovely room with a view of brighton beach, however it was in need of serious decoration and was very shabby. With some TLC could be fantastic! Walls are paper thin as we heard everyone coming and going through the night (Stag Party) very noisy and kept waking me up. I would describe this hotel as being fine or ok. Nothing really to write home about, as the saying goes, but comfortable and clean with friendly staff. Corridors were a bit bleak, but the room was nicer. Beds not as soft as I like, but not horrible. View from the window was great, and parking was convenient. (The lot costs about £13 per 24 hours.) Breakfast […] was very good. Eggs, bacon, beans, mushrooms...everything one needs for a proper English fry-up. (And cereal and fruit for the less hungry.) "Cheap Accomodation, but no thrills im afraid!"
We arrived on the Sat 5th Feb for an overnight stay at the Beach Hotel. The car park is right next door and costs £12.60 for 24hrs, so that was a good start. Hotel was very tired looking and the hall ways were in desperate need of painting and new carpets. Our room had been refurbished, but was pretty sloppy - although it was very clean and there were […] shampoo, towels and tea/coffee available. Hotel very close to The Brighton Centre which was excellent, but of course means you are approx 1 mile away from the pier/pubs etc which wasn’t really a problem as its nice to walk along the seafront. Breakfast wasn’t anything special, but there was choice and staff provided fresh toast and coffee. Overall - I must be honest, the hotel seemed a little odd! We did not see any other guests until the morning and there seemed to be random people just ' hanging' around in the hall ways. I was a little unsettled overnight and we pushed the chair up against the door as the lock was very flimsy, HOWEVER, the hotel was quiet and the beds were comfortable. ps and resturants. Hotel room was clean in the main, although I got something sticky (possibly jam!) on my legs from the underneath of the consol table. Bed was comfortable. Breakfast good and staff polite and helpful. Communal areas of hotel are shabby with electrical wiring loops visible in several places. Our room was situated between 2 fire doors […] and we were disturbed all night long as the doors were opened and banged shut. Some sort of sort closure mechanism is required. "The Beach Hotel in Brighton UK- good deal overall"
The condition of the lobby and the halls made us believe that we had booked a by-the-hour hotel. The lobby was sparsely furnished and the halls were dark, narrow and needed paint. The carpeting was worn and torn in places. Dismayed, we entered the room. The juxtiposition between the lobby, the halls and the room made us laugh! The room had lovely floor-to-ceiling […] windows and view of the ocean. The furnishings were modern and comfortable.The bathroom was remodeled poorly, but was bright and adequate. Breakfast the next day was buffet-style and would have been improved by different music. The young women in charge were blaring disco and bopping to the beat. The clientel were a diverse group of every age, but not families, just couples. We lucked into a parking space just outside of the hotel, but there's a large underground lot across the street. Brighton by day is a fun beach town where families and children play and by night Brighton is a raucous adult party scene with evident overconsumption of intoxicants. I'm a 22yr old female that was traveling around Europe with a friend. Took a day trip down to Brighton and this hotel was a breath of fresh air compared to the hotel we stayed at in Paris. We got a great view of the ocean, the room was clean, and hotel was on a street that wasn't busy so it wasn't noisy at all at night. They had a great breakfast with […] a lot of variety. It's a great hotel, perfectly placed near the water and walking distance from everywhere. To the main square to the rest of the city. It's affordable and the staff was very nice.

The hotel is extremely well located, with a cheap secure park lot right in front of it. My room had a lovely balcony with views to the beach. Another good point was the well served breakfast, for what I'm used as 'English Breakfast' in hotels. But apart from that, what really pleased me about it was the helpfull crew. "Fawlty Beach Hotel"
Ssdly the 1st room owned up tan unmade bed with towels and sheets from the revious user. The second room had a faulty shower head rendering it unuseable unless you were prepared to put up with it...... The 3rd room was even higher up than the previous 2, acccessed by narrow stairs not suited for a large bag or person. On the first night there was a […] fight between 2 females who had come back to the room of another guest, bringing a baby with them. After being evicted from the hotel thtey continued their 'discussion' on the pavement for a while longer. Unfortunately on another night the fire alarm went off.The member of staff approached had no idea about a fire drill. Guests sorted themselves out: an elderly lady being restrained from trying to use the lift and room occupants being woken up by other guests. No casualties and a false alarm but a somewhat disconcerting episode. I would not recommend this hotel, no matter how close it is to the Brighton Centre, the beach or the car park. Lesa meira
"Cheap and Cheerful"
This hotel was a little run down and could do with a lick of paint but it was clean. Lift was outdated and was worried we amy get stuck in there, but all was fine. If you didn't take the lift and took the stairs from the 4th floor (like we did once and once only) then it was like going through a maze! Breakfast was nice. "The Beach Hotel - enkelt men fullt tillräckligt"
Mycket prisvärt hotell om man bara står ut med alla heltäckningsmattor. Små rum med enkel standard, men rent och fräscht. Tillmötesgående och vänlig personal som fixade fram frukost, trots att vi checkade ut före ordinarie frukosttid. Bra läge nära många restauranger. Hissen dock inget för klaustrofobiker.

"Autentisk gammelt badehotel"
The Beach Hotel - er helt sikkert et sted vi gerne vil tilbage til. Det er ikke luxus, men lille og gammelt. Og så er det utroligt hyggligt, ved vandet, hvor vi havde et stort værelse med udsigt og fint bad. Hotellet er helt centralt ved vandet i Brighton, og har desuden en god og helt traditionel engelsk morgenmad. Uanset om man er rygsæk turist […] eller familie, som os - to voksne og to teenagedrenge, får man rigtig meget sydengland for pengene, på The Beach Hotel. Tip. Hotel bien situé, proche de la plage et du centre. Les locaux ont cependant besoin d'être rafraîchis. Le parking souterrain proche est contraignant car il accepte les voitures pour 24 h maxi, alors, il faut sortir du parking et rentrer à nouveau ( £12.50 /24H) Bon rapport qualité prix cependant pour cet hôtel.

L'imression est très mitigée, nous avons dormi dans plusieurs hotels du Sussex, celui-ci était le plus cher et le moins acceptable. A l'arrivée, le batiment victorien est sympa, le quartier semble calme. L'accueil était un peu froid, peut-être de la fatigue de la part de l'hotelière?(et pas en français comme certains ont eu la chance de bénéficier). l'accès […] aux chambres donnent presque envie de repartir: vielles portes peintes, moquettes usées... . Après plusieurs vielles portes, nous arrivons à notre chambre: Spacieuse pour 4 et bien présentée: Drap de douches et produits de toilettes individuelset les lits sont confortables, et den nombreux produits sont à disposition: Thé, café, sucre... Des fenêtres, la vue ségagée sur un parc un peu triste, mais de côté, la mer s'offre à nous sur quelques centaines de mètres..Pourtant les détails sautent aux yeux: le meuble TV est avancé et cache un immense espace non moquetté avec des traces de peinture. Le long des pleintes, la moquette est mal coupée et remonte - sûr que le poseur n'était pas qualifié. La lumière du couloir traverse la porte, le rideau ferme mal, les fenêtres sont sales à l'extérieur (l'air de la mer?) , une des portes de l'armoir semble enfoncée ou mal réglée. La salle de bain semble récente, mais la fenêtre vetuste semble hors d'âge, les mouettes semblent s'y donner rendez-vous à l'aube... . Le livre d'accueil de l'hôtel indique 8 heures pour le breakfast mais devant le besoin de partir tôt, notre hôtesse nous a gentiment indiqué qu'un petit déjeuner continental était disponible plus tôt (7H), Dans une salle assez bien décorée, et un bon choix sur la table. En conclusion, l'endroit pourrait être très classe avec un bon raffraichissement et une meilleure finition (moquette, vitres, rideaux...), mais ne me donne pas envie d'y retourner, rapport qualité/prix trop moyen. Really nice an spacious rooms. I was pleasantly surprised with this hotel. Not a high end place at all but i will go back there any time. I have no idea how the other rooms are but we got a really big one with big windows facing the front side of the hotel so that we could see the sea. Dirty, messy, confused. The room stank from fish and chips coming from the neighboring restaurant. Morning coffee brewed several hours before serving, served luke-warm.

Vi hadde lest på forhånd at dette hotellet var mer enn en smule nedslitt, men at servicen skulle være veldig bra. Begge deler viste seg å stemme. Heldigvis oppveide de ansattes hjelpsomhet og generelle serviceinstilling opp for slitte omgivelser. Rommet var bra, og badet var greit nok. Beliggenheten er topp, med nærhet til både strand og shopping
