From our arrival to departure the staff was amazing. They were helpful and conscientious to our needs. The Charlie Palmer restaurant on site was magnificent for both breakfast and dinner. Beautiful hotel - great location for any downtown event. Every staff interaction was exemplary. They know how to take care of their guests. Charlie Palmer restaurant was also great. Only issue - hotel.com website stated a superior room, but hotel reserved the smallest room. Hotel did upgrade me, but this must get resolved on the website.

Stayed at this hotel because of the proximity to a party we were attending in downtown Dallas on Main St. The rooms were very small for suites and nothing special for the price. The check in staff were a bit snobby but the valet and bellmen were very nice the whole stay. I wouldn't recommend this hotel in Dallas because there are far better hotels in […] this price range i.e.. ZaZa, W, or Crescent. Lesa meira

The hotel was in a great location. The staff was friendly and the accommodations were wonderful. The tenth floor pool was amazing.

The rooms at The Joule are very modern which I liked. The first room we were given was so small that I requested a different room. It had a round red leather bed! Ugh - can you say Vegas? It was tacky. The 2nd room was nice, spacious and tastefully decorated. The lighting in the rooms is a bit of a challenge since it is all automated. The worst part […] of the stay for me was having to call every day to request Housekeeping clean my room. This seems so Hotel 101 - why should I have to ask? Design of the hotel is very nice. Hotel restaurant has very limited menu and expensive! Room was very small. Pool was disappointing. No loungers, just beds. And the pool is actually small.

I love this place and will come again for a stay-cation! The hotel staff was great, especially the concierge. He was a male working on 7/12, I didn't catch his name, but he was great!

The Joule is great -- we booked after eating brunch at Charlie Palmer and the manager took us for a tour of the hotel. Stayed overnight when we had theatre tickets. Great location, lots going on in the neighborhood and hip poolside lounge.

One end of the pool is clear glass, flush with the side of the building. Really fun to feel like you're swimming off the edge of the earth.

We stayed at The Joule for a night as a last little "baby moon" getaway. The hotel and accomodations were very nice. I wasn't too thrilled about the location. We missed the valet the first time we passed and with all the construction and 1-way streets, it was hard to navigate our way back. Valet was expensive so we tried to look for other places to […] park. Turned out to be a better option to pay for the valet service. Our room had a horrible view. We overlooked the roof of a neighboring building that was under construction - unimpressed. Overall, we enjoyed our night away. Construction around the hotel will end soon enough and I'm sure it will be a fantastic view/stay after that. Lesa meira

Very nice Hotel! Hotel was very accommodating, only concern was the room temperature. It states 65 but felt like 78.

This was a wonderful hotel to stay in while I was in town for a conference. The service was amazing and the room was extremely comfortable. I would love to get the chance to stay here again some day!

The bottom line was that we booked a certain level room ( bigger ) and they gave us the smallest room category in the hotel. When we tried to change it, we informed that the hotel was full. Little was done to try and resolve the issue. They 'claimed' the booking information did not come across as correct from Hotels.com. The was the worst service I have ever had at a "luxury" hotel. It kept being amazed at how bad the service was and I am completely unsatisfied.

This is a luxury hotel, and so your expectations should be raised as well. The staff, room and amenities still were able to meet them. Great property.

Absolutely fabulous hotel! No complaints on anything. Great service from the time you pull up in valet parking throughout check-in to even the people delievering room service. Best place to stay in downtown Dallas.

I found the staff at the Joule to be very courteous and helpful. The hotel is quite nice, well appointed and comfortable. The pool is the center piece of the place although I found its small size somewhat limiting. Overall a great place to stay if your heading to Dallas.

Fabulous Hotel!! Very attentative staff. Upon check-in I asked where the ice makers where and was informed that there were none, however around 6:00 that evening room service showed up unanounced with a bag of ice and chocolates. Charlie Palmers steakhouse was excellent as well as pool side service.

As we got to our hotel it was nearly 40 degrees C (99F), but pulling up out of the cab we were handed ice cold bottles of water by one of the bell boys and ushered in. The lobby looks fantastic and the staff couldn't be more helpful. Our room continued with the amazing top end contempory theme which is then topped off with a trip to the tenth floor […] to visit the pool (which over hangs the street below) and an ice cool beer and mojito to see in the evening. The house resturant is also stunning which boasts it does the best steak in Dallas...this is confirmed!! Over all a stunning hotel in a fantastic location, in a great city. Lesa meira

We recently stayed at The Joule. The hotel in itself is very nice, however we had a bad experience with the reading lamp on top of our bed that would not turn off. One of the lamps would turn off but the one on the left side would not. When we contacted the front desk they said they would take of it, however we had to call the second night again. There […] is a hole in the shower ceiling also. When we ordered room service our fries were burned and hamburger was not good. Prima hotel voor in de binnenstad van Dallas. In de buurt is er niet veel te doen. Terras is prima. Ga niet eten bij de Mexicaan aan de overkant van de straat. Niet te eten. Vet, smerig en alleen met heel veel bier weg te spoelen.
