"Nice place to stay"
I enjoy my 5 days recent stay..good location, very helpful staff. Although is within old city wall, but easy to have tug tug travel around town. Good eating places nearby. Hotel staff gave some wonderful recommendation. Excellent massages next doors. 5-10 minutes to Seven Eleven. Many travel agencies around to arrange day tours (had 4) Mini lap pool […] in front of my sun deck. Free internet in room. Lesa meira
"Excellent hotel for relaxing time in Chaing Mai"
Great hotel. Staff are very helpful and very on the ball. All recommendations and advice they gave was 100% accurate and very useful. Great location. Try to stay on a Sunday as there is an excellent Sunday night market on the same street. Lots of local artists selling hand made goods. Will stay there again.

Great location, excellent service with friendly smiles from staff all the time. Cosy atmosphere even just sitting in the coaches by the swimming pool which is really nice. Overall, it is highly recommended to stay in for couples and families.

This is the perfect place to stay if you want a centrally located, romantic hotel in chiang mai. The service was great, loved the "breakfast anytime", and the design of the place was lovely.

"U Chiang Mai Hotel"
The U Chiang Mai is situated in the heart of old Chiang Mai just over the road from the Luang Wat. The road outside is a little busy at peak hours but the hotel bar and restaurant provide a great spot to people watch. The Wat is large and active, so there is a constant stream of monks coming and going which gives the neighborhood an interesting feel. […] There are several restaurants, spas and stores in the immediate vicinity. Most of the city is just a short tuk-tuk ride away. The hotel staff were pleasant and very helpful. They helped to arrange a local driver for us to visit the area who was quite reasonable. The room was comfortable, quiet and had a balcony. Overall, a good spot if you enjoy being in the middle of things. Lesa meira
"U have the choice at U chiang mai"
At the U, I was greet by wonderful staff who took the time to explain the rooms and facilities to us. The pool was lovely and it was a wonderful contrast from the rest of neighborhood. The best part of the stay was breakfast which I had the choice of the timing, location of the meal, and since it was a buffet I could choose what I wanted. But beware […] of tuk tuk drivers outside ready to charge you a higher rate. Lesa meira
