"Residence Inn Amherst"
I reserved a one night stay Feb 11th-Feb12th on hotels.com. I requested a Pent House Suite in which the rep put me on hold called over to Residence Inn to check availability. They told the rep pent house was avail so rep added that to my reservation in which I rcvd email of confirmation in which states wants Pent House Suit. Whn I got to the hotel the […] representative advised me I had a Queen Studio not pent house. I requested that be changed and she advised me I had to cancel with Hotels.Com and redo reservation and pay full price AGAIN and then she said I can get my money back from hotels.com. That is unexceptable!!!! I traveled so far so at this point I just took what I was given. I was recently diagnosed with a chronic disease so I am dealing with a lot so this was my gift to myself and to no evail I was hurt and very disappointed. I want to spend the last days of my life the way I want to and whn I spend my money I expect to get what I paid for... I plan to go to the Public Service Commission regarding my issue....... This hotel is a little far from Niagara falls of the U.S. But, every room and service is clean and comfortable. And breakfast is very good. I want to recommand this hotel for family.

"Relaxing Stay"
I stayed for a couple of nights and enjoyed the peace, especially no disturbing sound very relaxing.
"Best Hotel Ever"
We chose this hotel from a short list of three hotels of comparable comfort level according to hotels.com (don't remember the other two now, but they were all within $1/night of the same price). For the money, the other two hotels did NOT include free internet of any kind, let alone wi-fi, and they did not include continental breakfast - so this one […] ended up being the best value. I'd never been to Buffalo before, so I had no idea what to expect. The hotel was situated on a main avenue, within not-quite-walking distance of everything we could have needed. during our two-night stay, we needed to access the University of Buffalo campus, a Michaels craft store, a grocery store, a liquor store, two restaurants (and there were plenty to choose from - we just only had to find restaurants for two meals), and a gas station. Had we been just a little more organized, we found out that the hotel staff would have done the grocery shopping for us at no additional fee and delivered it same-day to our room! (We just weren't organized enough to make a grocery list, and that's not the hotel's fault at all) Being the only hotel with free wi-fi AND breakfast at its price point, I was prepared to have problems connecting to the internet, or possibly to find out that only the lobby had free wi-fi and the room wi-fi was extra. I also expected the breakfast to be standard OJ-coffee-pastry fare. I was pleasantly wrong on both counts. The wi-fi could not have been easier to connect to, and the room included an ethernet cable in case we'd wanted a direct connection or didn't have a wi-fi card. The "continental" breakfast included fresh hot food such as scrambled eggs, pancakes, and breakfast meats in addition to a waffle iron. No omelet bar (and let's face it, it wouldn't be continental if there was a chef handy!), but they did have a station of ... unusual breakfast toppings that a person could use to make a faux omelet if they wanted to. We were very happy with our stay at the Residence Inn. The staff were very polite and curtious. I would definitely recommend it to everyone.
"Great looking room - but uncomfortable"
The room was very pleasant to the eye and very clean. However, the bed was EXTREMELY uncomfortable and I tossed and turned all night. I was also disturbed every time the heater kicked on because it was so noisy with a variety of sounds. The light under the cabinets in the kitchen area was on ALL night also, with no way to turn it off making it rather […] bright in a room meant to sleep in. To brighten my unrested body in the morning, my shower water temperature only made it to cool. Very excited when I saw the room to only be disappointed by discomfort. Lesa meira
