Ponte Vecchio Suites & Spa – Flórens

Awesome suite! it locates at the centre of Florence where close to Ponte Vecchio and everything. All the restaurants are nearby. I highly recommended this lovely suite to others!

We were delighted with this hotel. We were able to walk everywhere. The outstanding component of this stay was the attentiveness of the hotel staff. The manager ensured our stay was perfect, from confirming tours, suggesting tour ideas and making sure it was a home away from home. The hotel has been refurbished in a modern comfortable style.

It's very nice to have a suit with a little efficiency right in the heart of the city, next to the Arno. A small street, one way street, some taxis may have a hard time to find. I was in Room 106 which was clean and well appointed but the layout was disappointing: the TV was in the efficiency table area while in front of the bed was an open closet space […] with no doors! Other than the wonky layout of the room, Larissa, when present is a nice inn keeper and tries to be helpful. However, no one is on premises at night, so if you need help, i.e. calling a taxi or other there is no conceriege or even front desk service here. Thus if you are out all day, Larissa cannot help you ;-( Lesa meira

Ponte Vecchio Suites is an apartment hotel with comfortable accomodations and limited hotel services. Desk is staffed only during day, and there are only internal phones in the rooms. The location is a short block from the Ponte Vecchio, on the Oltr'Arno side, but out of the heavy pesdestrian traffic. The windows block noise effectively. There's a limited […] kitchen (and a very nice new supermarket nearby!). The rooms are stylishly decorated, and space is excellent, in light of the highly desirable location. First of all, Florence is a great place in Italy. It is not too big, but it has everything including its best people; and Ponte Vecchio Spa represents the best of Florence. It is not really a hotel with full staff, but has all the necessary functions needed---after all, who wants to pay more. The room is big and spotless clean with modern furniture […] and all you need like a well furnished apartment. Its location is supurb as it is just next to the Old Bridge and great restaurants are nearby. Cammillo is supposed to be the best restaurant serving authentic Tuscany food; Buca Lapi is undoubtedly serving the best Steak Florentina; Harry's Bar is a classy dated back since 1950s; and Saint' Agostino, though less well known, serves the equally excellent Tuscany cusine with the most reasonable prices. Thanks to the staff of the hotel, who kindly recommended the four must-try restaurants. The hotel was in a wonderful location with many restaurants and shops nearby and lovely streets for walking. Right across the bridge from many major museums and churches. The suite was large and sparkling clean and the women at the front desk were very helpful. We stayed at the Ponte Vecchio suites for 4 days and it was the best place we stayed all over Italy. The suites are large and modern. The staff is extremely helpful especially Larissa who was amazing, and best of all the location is perfect walking distance to everything you want to see in Florence. We were very happy with this hotel. The staff was pleasant and helpful. We received an upgrade to a suite (due to the time of year perhaps). The suite had a separate bedroom. All was very well furnished. It was great to have a small kitchenette. We were very close to everything in the center of town.

I can't say enough about my stay at the Ponte Vecchio Suites. Larissa & Tatiana were so incredibly helpful and gracious! Our room felt like a little appartment and was so comfortable! I wouldn't stay anywhere else in Florence!!

This was a great experience for us. Small but beautifully decorated and incredibly friendly and helpful staff. I felt like we had our own personal concierge/travel agent. The hotel has modern decor. The hostess was very welcoming and very helpful with (very good)recommendations on food and attractions which we can visit. As we were there on a honeymoon, we appreciate the help on directions and ideas on what we can do over at Florence without having to plan much ourselves. Also, the room (junior suite) was spacious, clean and very quiet for a good […] night rest. The location was superb as well- we could walk to Firenze SMN, and all the main attractions and shopping areas from where we were within 10-20 mins! Classy, hip and a great location!

I booked this hotel as a last minute because my other travel plans had changed due to a landslide. I didn't have time to research it, but it was one of the BEST places I've stayed while in Italy! The staff was more helpful than I could have ever dreamed of! She showed me where to eat, where to hangout, a shortcut to the train station, offered to call […] a cab, gave me a map, spent a ton of time answering any questions I had and even walked me around to show me a few room options. She was delightful! My room was clean and huge! The bathtub alone is a reason to go back! The sheets were soft and there were even slippers in my room! This hotel is a modern and comfortable place to relax amid the tourist frenzy of Florence. It was quiet and yet conveniently located to all the places we wanted to visit, Our hostess was very helpful with directions and recommendations as well as ticket bookings. This trip was a getaway for three of us prior to a business conference and there was plenty […] of room in one suite. Since there was a kitchen in the rooms, we purchased food from the local markets and made our own breakfasts - greatly enhanced by the esspresso machine that actually worked! This hotel was within 200m of the Ponte Vecchio bridge and is well recommended. Reception was only open from 10am till 8pm but were very friendly & helpful at all times. It was one of the most quiet rooms I have stayed in as the street outside was so narrow no cars could come down it. We spent 2 nights for a short break and it surpassed expectations. I think the website does not do justice to the size and quality of the apartments. We reserved a superior Junior Suite and were given suite 103. It has a hallway; a large bathroom with a whirlpool bath and rainforest shower;a good size living room with sofabed, TV, dining table with4 […] chairs and kitchenette with dishwasher, fridge, hob,sink and nespresso machine (you buy nespresso tabs at reception). The bedroom has a second TV and there are separate good a/c units in each room. I asked for an extra pillow which was brought immediately. It was both quiet and had good blackout curtains - so we slept really well. The location is fantastic- really close to Ponte Vecchio and Pitti Palace but in a very quiet side street. If you are looking for a more private suite, rather than a busy hotel then I would definitely recommend the Ponte Vechhio Suites. The hotel location is very good. Staff was very nice.

It was wonderful having the kitchen in Florence....the rooms were lovely and the sofabed was very comfortable for the kids. Fantastic location! I missed having the Italian breakfasts in a communal setting, though breakfast were quick and cheap in our room after visiting a market down the street. This is a very quiet, private spot...was bummed there […] was not a computer to use in the building...bring your laptop or visit a local internet cafe. The hotel is a very modern simplistic design reminiscent of a Swedish hotel/hostel. It appears to be relatively new or remodeled and because of that there were certain details in the finishes that appeared to still need attention such as some loose floorboards, molding and lighting. The hotel does not have a phone in the room or any sort of concierge. […] You are met on arrival by a very courteous person that explains all the features of the room and security, however, she is not present the remainder of the time and as such the location feels more like a rented apartment with daily room service. As such, if you are need of anything, or have an emergency there is no one to contact. For us, this was not a problem as we spend very little time in the hotel and rarely use the amenities, however it should at least be explained on the website to warn those that need special considerations. The location is very close to the old bridge and within a reasonable walk will take you to all the landmarks. The rooms were very clean and properly furnished. They were also much larger than the typical European hotel as they were divided into two sections consisting of a bedroom and a separate living area with a kitchenette. I would recommend the location for anyone that does not desire the amenities I mention above or a family that would like the feel of a rented apartment with very little interruption or activity by other guests. This is more like living in a suite/condo than a hotel. Very nice contemporary decoration just like the way it shows on the website photos. Has stove and pots & pans for light cooking. The only drawback is that there is no or minimal service. Looks like it is owned by a young stylish Italian couple. They look very stylish but not very available or helpful […] in terms of providing services. Most of the time no one is downstairs at the front desk. They just locked the front door and only guests can enter and exit with key cards. If you expect a lot of service, this is not a place for you. If you just want nice contemporary, spacious suite with nice and clean facility, this is perfect for you. Very spacious compared to other hotels we have stayed on the trip. Lesa meira

The residences are in the best location. It is like living in your house, there is almost no reception person but you really don't neded. You come and go as you plese. The rooms are spacious and brand new. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Know what you are getting into before you go. This is more like renting an apartment than a hotel room. Absolutely no services are provided other than housekeeping (which does a great job). A "desk clerk" arrives at 3 to do check-in, but other than that no one other than the maid who is there in the morning and early afternoon cleaming is on the premises. […] At check-in we received a stern briefing on the electronic key cards, stressing that any problems we encountered were due to user error. Unfortunately, I beg to differ--while the key card to the main door worked flawlessly, our room key would take 10-12 attempts every time we tried to get into the room. Upon check-in, I also asked the same clerk about the "in-room safe" which was listed on the website as a feature but was nowhere to be found. She brusquely informed me that there was no safe and that I, like other Americans, did not need to worry--she and her staff did not care about stealing our passports. When I pointed out that the safe was listed on the website, she replied that just because features are listed they don't necessarily have them. (So if something is a dealbreaker for you I suggest you call and confirm its existence in advance). Which brings me to a MAJOR issue with this property. There are no phones anywhere on the property and no staff. I am not sure what we would have done if we returned to our room and couldn't get the temperamental key to work at all or how we would call someone if there was a plumbing or maintenace emergency. There was an "in case of emergency phone no." posted outside on the front of the building (not sure if it was intended for guests), but unless you travel with an EU-comaptible cell phone, you have no way of accessing the number. The lack of a phone also meant there was also no way to call a restaurant for a reservation, etc. On the positive side, the location is fabulous and the room--a Deluxe Junior Suite-- was extremely spacious and apt-like. Great Hotel!!! We absolutely loved it. The hotel was clean and comfortabe. The location was great. Very easy to find. The surrounding neighborhood had great little shops and a coffe spot and supermarket nearby. The location was an easy walk to all the important sights in Florence. I would absolutely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Florence

We just returned from our wonderful trip to Italy and I feel obligated to at least tell others about this wonderful boutique hotel. The Ponte Vecchio suites were fantastic and a perfect fit for us. My whole family loved our stay and if location is important to you this is your place -hands down. Plus, it was VERY large which we loved since we were traveling […] with our teenage daughter who was wanting her own SPACE.... (and we were wanting ours too. lol!) The air conditioner was the best I have ever experienced in a hotel either stateside or abroad. So, if you are like me and ALWAYS run HOT - this is your place. We loved having our own mini-kitchen and kept our refrigerator stuffed with yummy food from the stores around the corner. The staff was wonderful and quickly learned our names and helped us when we needed it. They are not there at night but you have a phone number in case something comes up. They are very quick to correct any problems. I highly recommend this property and WILL stay there again when I return to Florence. Believe me I wish we were back in that beautiful city right now - as Florence was our favorite city in Italy. Lesa meira

Great location a few steps from the Ponte Vecchio, the hotel is modern and stylish. There is usually nobody at the hotel but there was the manager waiting for us upon our arrival and warmly welcomed us. He give us a key card to enter the hotel at all times. We were 4 adults in a suite and were really comfortable in the spacious suite. We had been last […] year in a different hotel but didn't have such a nice room. We definetely reccommend the hotel if you are not looking for extra services (room service, info desk, etc) as there is no staff, but if you want a chic place to stay in the heart of Florence. The hotel was an apartment style room which included a kitchenette, living/dining room with pullout sofa, bedroom, and a bathroom accessible from both rooms. Around the corner from the hotel, there was a mini supermarket with economical prices which made cooking in the hotel easy. The kitchenette provided pots/pans, dishes, silverware, etc. as well […] as a dishwasher. The location was great for sightseeing with Ponte Vecchio, Uffizi, and Pitti Palace just blocks away. We stayed in hotels in Rome, Florence and Venice and without a doubt the most spacious and most comfortable was the Ponte Vecchio Suites. Now this isn't your normal hotel, it has only 8 rooms and when the person manning the front desk leaves at 8 pm that's it. You have a card to get in your room and one to get into the hotel. There is no bellhop, no […] free breakfast, no maid service, but it was nice to have big beds, a kitchen, two televisions and a HUGE bathroom with jet tub, shower and plenty of towels. The hotel is a stones throw from the famous Ponte Vecchio bridge so location is great. We loved the hotel maybe because it was so different. Lesa meira

Vi nød Ponte Vecchio Suites, fordi det var smukt istandsat indtil mindste detalje. Værelset var stort med en afdeling til at sove og en til at være i med bord, stole og sofa. Det var rigtig fint at viselv kunne lave morgenmad - der var det man behøvede. I receptionen sad en meget hjælpsom person som fik os til at føle os hjemme og godt tilpas og som […] gav os mange gode oplysninger om seværdigheder, koncerter, restauranter mm. ポンテベッキオからすぐの立地はとても便利でした。お部屋も広く、ミニキッチン付が有難かったです。昼食は軽くサラダなどを食べたいとき、買い物して帰れますし。ただ、スパホテルなのに別料金で60€くらい／一人追加しなければ利用できなかったのが残念です。

Asuimme hotellissa viikon kahden huoneen ja kylpyhuoneen huoneistossa. Huoneet olivat siistit ja tyylikkään yksinkertaiset sisustukseltaan, Vuode oli mukava ja riittävän leveä. Siivous toimi loistavasti ja oli ensilukkaista Keittiönurkkauksessa riittäväat välineet mm. aamiaisen valmistukseen. Jääkaappi oli iso.Hotellihenkilökunta aulis palvelemaan mm.lippujen […] ja retkien varaaminen toimi.Englanninkielentaito heillä on hyvä. Das Personal und der Service sind absolut hervorragend. Immer hilfsbereit. Die Auskünfte z.B. Zug und Busverbindungen sowie Vorschläge für Ausflugziele waren top. Die Wetterverhältnisse waren extrem (39 Grad ) und die Klimaanlage hatte keine Aussetzer. Wir werden auch in Zukunft hier buchen!

Pæne små suiter, 2 værelser og stort badev. m. jazucci kar. Pænt, nyt og rent. rigtig god beliggenhed, I minimal gå afstand til alt relevant. Med lukkede vinduer er der ingen nattestøj. IKKE et hotel du skal vælge hvis det er roomservice, bar, picolo m.m. du søger. Du skal klarer dig selv. Vi oplevede et meget vidende, hjælpsom og interesseret personale […] når vi spurte om noget. Résidence très correcte. La chambre studio est de bonne taille, la salle d'eau assez jolie et confortable. Les savons proposés sont de qualité. Le coin cuisine est suffisamment équipé pour pouvoir prendre le petit déjeuner sur place, ou réchauffer des repas (traiteur et supérette au pied de la résidence). Petits bémols, le studio n'est pas très lumineux […] et il est difficile de laisser les rideaux ouverts si l'on ne veut pas être vu depuis l'immeuble en face. Je ne vous conseille pas le petit déjeuner de l'hôtel, il est de bonne qualité mais pas à la hauteur du prix demandé. Lesa meira

We stayed 4 days/nights at this place and everything was perfect. Rooms were in good condition and well equipped. Only thing we missed was some place to hang our coats and some basic kitchen stuff e.g. soap and brush. We didn’t use the spa in the ground floor because we found it too expensive. There was no-one to clean on the Sunday, nor was there a concierge. There was no room telephone. Generally, room cleaning was a problem. The building and room were nice.
