I liked that you could have great breakfast in good place nearby that was open 24 hours and some pub to grab something to eat late evening. This hotel is great when you are in a rush and need to be up early or come in late.

Við dvöldum hér fjögra manna fjölskylda í 5 nætur. Það fór mjög vel um okkur í herberginu sem var hreint og glæsilegt. Flott nuddbaðkar og góð sturta. Sjónvarpið var stór flatskjár mjög gott. Við myndum velja þetta hótel aftur við pöntuðum tímalega og fengum herbergið á fínu verði.

"Close to Sights and Shopping"
This hotel is in a fantastic location a couple of blocks from the Art Institute and a block away from all of the shopping on State Street. It is very convenient to a number of subway stations and the valet could get us a taxi in a matter of seconds. Our room was clean, quiet, and the bed was comfortable. I appreciated the fill-it-yourself bottled water […] stations (bottles provided). Check-in and check-out were easy and automated at the lobby computer stations, and it was no problem for us to check our luggage when we arrived early on check-in day and were leaving town later on check-out day. The extra small room has a double, not a queen bed as advertised. We stay here often, but haven't reserved the extra small room, before, and we won't, again..

We arrived on the train, so it was important that we be close to the station. This hotel fit the bill! We were also close to public transportation, so it was very easy getting around the city. The hotel room was very clean and very comfortable.

"Affordable, quality lodgings"
Very convenient location. Clean and comfortable stay. The price is great for the downtown location. Perks such as the gym and free coffee and printing in the basement lounge make it even more pleasant. The only downside is that it's in the business district and some restaurants and stores are closed on the weekends, but there are plenty of options that […] are open. "Great place to stay"
The room was very pretty and very comfortable. We enjoyed the free water bottles on our floor. Very close to lots of shopping, restaurants, and theatre. My only [extremely minor] complaint was that there was only a bedside table on one side of the bed. Overall, great place to stay.

"Great stay!"
Location was perfect, 2 minute bike ride from Metra station and from Michigan Ave. Rooms were really nice, enough space, very well decorated and clean, updated. Service was friendly, luggage check prior to check in and bike storage as well. Security of key required elevator and doors was a plus.
"Excellent basic accommodations"
This hotel is part of the Club Quarters group, and anyone familiar with Club Quarters will know what they're getting. The room was basic but not ridiculously small, and all the normal hotel amenities (TV, free wireless) were fine. Lots of extras (blankets, ironing board) were available in a separate closet down the hall—a neat idea to save the hotel […] space and money. The walls were a little thin when the couple next door decided to have a loud argument at 1 a.m. On the other hand, the management sent someone to stop the argument right away when asked. "Great Location, Price, Hotel"
I think this hotel is a great bargain when compared to the other hotels near by. And, I mean near by like a block or two away. The W. Adams Street location really couldn't be better. Just a few blocks to the Art Institute of Chicago, the Willis Tower, Michigan and State streets. Moderate walk to Big John. Lots of places to eat. Try the Marquette Inn […] for breakfast. A little diner with good food, friendly staff and inexpensive. The hotel has very accomodating staff, clean, quiet and comfortable. The Irish pub in the lobby is great with a nice atmosphere and food. This is our downtown Chicago hotel from now on. Lesa meira
Great price for a downtown hotel. Close to the areas and things we wanted to do. Friendly / helpful staff and baggage service. Free bottled water. Wish it had a hot tub. We do recommend.

"Central Loop Hotel in Chicago - convenient & clean"
I stayed at the Central Loop Hotel for 4 nights while working at a trade show at McCormick Place. It's reasonably close to McCormick, and very convenient to downtown Chicago, museums, parks, shopping, etc. Not too much in the immediate neighborhood open on Sunday, though. The food and drink at the Elephant & Castle pub off the lobby is reasonably varied […] and good. Plus, the Central Loop is very close to the W if you're looking for a hipper lobby bar, and Miller's Pub if you want old-school Chicago vibe. The staff were very courteous and helpful. The room wasn't fancy, but clean, comfortable and very suitable for this type of trip. Decent, free wireless internet service, plus a 24-hr business center were also very useful. Lesa meira

The staff was very, very helpful with check-in, room cleaning, and luggage storage. Hotel is located in great location for theater, symphony, art institute, restaurants, and financial district. Central Loop Hotel location is good with easy access to most must-see destinations by walking, short cab ride, or the "L." The rooms are small yet serviceable, if somewhat threadbare and in need of a facelift. Staff service was good. The inclusion of a chilled and filtered drinking water machine with bottles for guests on all floors was a very nice […] idea that was much appreciated and should be adopted by more hotels. Very affordable and comfortable hotel near the museum, parks and Loop stations. Rooms are clean and service is terrific.....bar and gym downstairs. Can't beat the price for this product

rooms are small but smartly outfitted. comfortable bed, clean room. location is perfect for access to amtrak station and local public transport. and it is walking distance (straight walk down adams) to the wonderful chicago art museum! recommend. have stayed there before and will book again.
"Decent hotel, Good location"
I recently stayed here for 4 nights. The room was pretty standard, nothing fancy. The hotel didn't have a single microwave or fridge but it was good enough and at a good price.
My boyfriend and I stay here a few weekends ago. We had a standard queen room. Even though it isn't a huge room, it was definitely enough space for us. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The room included a microwave and small fridge. Location is pretty convenient and within walking distance to a lot of things! We choose to self-park at […] the parking garage a couple blocks away. Be aware that the $20 for parking only applies if you are in the parking garage for less than 24 hours. IF you go over 24 hours, you will be charged the regular rate of the parking garage. Lesa meira

"Central Loop Hotel - Very Convenient to Downtown"
I needed to be in Chicago's downtown "Loop" neighborhood for business and this was a great find. I liked the free wi-fi and use of a computer and printer. The room was clean and cozy. The staff was very friendly and even offered to give me a calculator when I thought I had forgot mine. Just a few blocks from the Art Institute and Symphony Hall at Michigan […] Avenue. we have a suite but it look like the smallest room at the hotel. there was a fire on our floor in one of the rooms, and we heard no alarms, or anyone came to our rooms to inform us to exit the building. we had to walk through water for two nights. they gave us one face towel, and house keeping did not do a good job never changed the sheets, or blanket. "Location, location, location"
The location of Central Hotel/Club Quarters blocks from the Metra/Union Station make it an ideal spot for a weekend getaway to attend theatre and the many Chicago museums and concerts.
"Was woken up in the middle of the night"
I only stayed at the club quarters for one night, and at about 4 AM I was woken up from loud machinery out in the hallway. A lady went out into the hallway and ask the staff to stop making so much noise, and whatever they were doing wasn't important enough to continue. They did indeed stop finally, but only after waking up the entire floor

"Central Loop Hotel - Fuss Free!"
Location was great - near the subway lines - so it was very easy to get around. Just two stops away from the Greyhound station! Personally didn't fancy the Chicago subways so we walked A LOT. Walking distance to Millennium Park, Navy Pier & entire Michigan Ave, though it's not advisable to walk back late at night because the hotel is situated in the […] business district & is pretty much a dead town at night. Loved the free wifi & purified water with bottles. Checking in and out was totally fuss free and settled in less than a minute. Lounge was great as well - comfortable sofas and lots of power sockets. Best thing ever was the free printing of documents in the business centre - used it to print maps and information of places of interest every morning before setting off. Perhaps my only gripe would be the quilt, which was too light & flimsy that it often slipped off the bed halfway through the night... and the gap between the door frame and the door which let some light from the corridor in once the room was dark.
