We really enjoied our stay Cellai Botique. The hotel has a very plesant atmosphere. Our room was rather small, but tastefully decorated, - the bed vas comfortable, and the bathroom was great. Just look at the pictures on the homepage - they tell the truth.

"A bit dated"
This was the old Swis embassy building converted into a Hotel. The room was large but dated. The wood floor had shrunk so the herring bone pattern was loose to walk on. The bathroom was large, clean and comfortable. The ventalation system has the odd ability to transmit sound from the room either next to or above you. We were able to listen to some […] real performers while we went to bed. She was really entertaining and he was a machine!! The breakfast was very good. "Laura bed and breakfast"
The room we got for our first night was very small and ugly, no windows ( only a small one covered with a plastic layer, not at all as you see in the pictures. So the next morning we asked to be changed as we realized all the other rooms rooms were much bigger and nicer. If you stay there, avoid room 19, the first one on the left. There is only one […] floor for guests rooms as this is a student's house. It was quite noisy. Internet was 1 euro per hour and it only worked next to the reception on the first floor.Breakfast was very modest. The location was good though, walking distance from the center. Lesa meira

My bf and I spent two night at BB, overall it was good, espeically the owners are quite friednly and can speak well english. The room is clean but the bathroom is quite samll. But overall Italy hotel rooms are the same. In florence, you might need the hotel to help you call for taxi.
"5 nights at Soggiorno Laura B&B"
We had a great stay at that B&B. It's about 10 blocks from the train station (SMN). At first, we were a little bit shocked because it is an old house, very big, with many rooms that are rented, which had a weird smell. We were nicely welcomed by Mr. Giovanni, who seemed to be the owner with Sra. Marinella. He was in the front desk in the afternoon until […] night, and she was who served us breakfast. Both of them were super nice, and sweet with us. We really felt great staying there. Mr. Giovanni gave us a map and told us different things to do and how to reach a couple of the Tuscany cities. Every morning we had breakfast, which was simple but enough. The room was really clean, and comfortable. Kind of big actually. It was sometime kind of cold, but we were told that that was the season where the heater could not be on because of the State decision. But, the feather cover on the bed was super nice and kept us warm enough to have a pleasant rest. Also, we had some mosquitos in the room, but Mrs. Marinella gave us the plugs for the mosquitos, and the problem was solved immediately. Location is great, close to everyting. "Great HOTEL .... love every minute of my stay"
This B&B is great, the location is super and the breakfast is AMAZING!!! The Hotel is close to the city center you walk 10 min. and you in the middle of it all. The room was great and super clean and the staff was fantastic. The only bad thing about the room was the bathroom. It was the size of a Cruise bathroom. I will totally stay there again . "Soggiorno hotel - fine experience"
The hotel was very clean and the owners were as helpful as could be without speaking english. They drew out the path to all of the sites on a map right when we arrived, which was very helpful. The bathroom was very tiny and the decor was very outdated, but that seems typical of low priced Italian b&b's. This B & B is a good location, easy walking to the centre of the city and all the main "sights". Black mold in the shower knocked this rating down quite a bit, as did the unhelpful folk running the place. For a place to sleep and tour, this is OK, but not much more.

"Soggiorno Laura: not your biggest b&b"
The best part about this b&b was its location - within walking distance of all the major attractions in Florence. It's in a fairly nondescript part of the city but its position more than made up for this. However, don't come to this b&b if you like a spacious room. Ours was so small that one of us had to back up to let the other pass. We had booked […] for three nights and the lack of space became very tedious.There was nowhere to put our gear except in the space around the bed where we needed to walk. The bathroom, raised a steep couple of steps above the floor of the room, was ridiculously small - no room for anything but bare essentials. However, I know other rooms were much bigger. Communication was also difficult as the owners spoke very little English. I would look elsewhere rather than stay here again. Lesa meira

Great location. Can walk to town square in 10 minutes. Owners speak "some" english. Clean, with a nice light breakfast. They provided us with the internet code each morning without charge.

"A bargain!"
Soggiorno Laura is a great place to stay while visiting Florence. We only had a quick one night stopover, but it would be just as ideal for a lengthier stay. We walked from the main station, however this took about 30 mins with cases, so I'd recommend a taxi if you're not up for a trek. On arrival, the owner took our cases up to the main reception […] for us (a nice touch), and although the owners speak no English, and us very little Italian, the welcome was as polite and friendly as it could be. The room itself was surprisingly beautiful (iron frame beds with lovely white drapes) and most importantly clean as a whistle! The bathroom is a little pokey, but not something that would put us off really. Breakfast is standard Italian fare, sweet cakes and croissants, coffee/tea, breads etc. Not amazing, but sufficient. Without cases, you are only 10-15 mins stroll to the main site of the Duomo and all the other city centre sights are reachable from here. If you are after a clean, cheap and comfortable stay in Florence, I would highly recommend the Laura B&B. Lesa meira

"Soggiorno LAURA Firenze"
Un hotel de gestión familiar muy acogedor y tranquilo, muy bien ubicado cerca del centro y con un personal muy amable. El desayuno variado para ser un hotel pequeño. El único aspecto negativo es la estrechez del baño, aunque es común encontrar ese tipo de baños en los hoteles de Italia. Aún así, la valoración global del hotel es buena.

Čistý hotel v centru města, kdo chce po večerech obcházet hospůdky v centru ideální. Problematické je jako vždycky v centru parkování. Nedaleko podzemní garáže ovšem ne zrovna levné. Lze doporučit
"hyggeligt B&B med søde værter"
Vi havde 6 overnatninger i april måned og vi var meget tilfredse. Værtsparret er meget søde og hjælpsomme, de taler kun meget lidt engelsk men det gik alligevel fint med at forstå hinanden. De var behjælpsomme med anvisning af busruter og andre praktiske ting. Værelset var lille men godt indrettet med bl.a. god skabsplads, og badeværelset også meget […] lille, brusekabinen er diminutiv men vandet var varmt og der blev gjort rent hver dag. Et stort plus var den hyggelige tagterrasse, hvor vi hver morgen kunne sidde i solen og spise morgenmad. Morgen"buffet'en" er ikke prangende men det havde vi heller ikke forventet: yoghurt, meget hårdkogte æg, meget porøst toastbrød i små pakker, smør, syltetøj, nutella, croissanter, små hvide boller, cornflakes, mælk og kakao (samt en underligt smagende juice/saft). Men nogenlunde mætte kunne vi da godt blive ;-) Værterne var meget søde mod min 12-årige søn, som er vild med fodbold hvilket de hurtigt fandt ud af. Så de gav ham hele tiden updates på diverse fodboldresultater og inviterede os ind i stuen for at se kampene (da der var dårligt antennesignal på vores værelse til lige præcis den kanal som viste kampene). Det tog os 10 minutter i rask gang at nå ind til domkirken - det er bare ligeud hele vejen så meget enkelt. Der er direkte busforbindelser til bl.a. Michelangelopladsen fra nærliggende torv, og ligeleledes til den hyggelige lille by Fiesole. Væggene er tynde så hvis man har larmende naboer (som vi havde en af nætterne, kan det gå ud over nattesøvnen), ligeledes morgentrafikken. Men vinduerne er MEGET lydisolerende så larmen udefra var ikke noget problem. Madrasserne er ret faste men meget behagelige, og der var dundyner. Der er kun 13-14 værelser og det er hyggeligt at bo et så lille og familiepræget sted. Hvis vi kommer tilbage til Firenze, kunne vi meget vel finde på at bo der igen. Det er "good value for money". Soggiorno Laura-B&B er et lille hotel midt inde i Firenze. Vi sov der kun en nat. Hotellet er hvad navnet antyder: B&B og ikke mere. Så hvis man vil sove et billigt sted er det et ok sted.
"Soggiorno Laura, Florence"
This charming and comfortable B&B is situated outside the main city center, but certainly accessible by foot. In 15 minutes you are by the Duomo and daily Florence Markets. We also saw buses but opted to walk. The charm of this B&B was it's cozy rooms and breakfast area. The real charm was it's owner (it's a family run business but we dealt primarily […] with the wife) who spoke no English but was always ready with a smile, a hug and the willingness to please. She made sure that "tutto bene!" Make sure you ask for a room away from the main street if traffic is a concern for you. The price can not be beat for your stay in pricey Florence and after a very long day of touring and shopping and eating, it was nice to 'come home' to Soggiorno Laura. Lesa meira
"Hotel Soggiorno Laura em Florenç - bem localizado"
O hotel é bem localizado, dentro do centro histórico, e o casal que atende é muito atenciosos, mas não gostamos do hotel pelos seguintes motivos: .Um quarto tinha banheiro mas era minúculo, tanto o quarto quanto o banheiro, e mal tinhamos onde colocar as malas de tão paertado que era. O outro quarto era maior mas tinha banheiro externo, do outro lado […] do corredor, embora privativo. O site do hotel não mencionava que o banheiro seria externo. Outro detalhe é que os banheiros não têm janela e o hotel não liga o aquecedor então as toalhas não secam e eles não trocam as toalhas diariamente. Pedimos toalhas limpas e eles nao tinham, então tivemos que usar toalhas molhadas num frio de 13 graus. Não pretendemos indicar este hotel para mais niguém. Abraços Eliane e Jorge Lesa meira
