Staff very accommodating and helpful, especially the day people at the reception desk. The room is very clean but AC is not maintained properly and not cooling the room well. Otherwise, Le soleil is great to stay.

Our family of four stayed here in November 2012 and enjoyed it a lot. It was extremely reasonable and the hotel's front doors open up to White Beach. It was an ideal family hotel for Boracay. Not a very big party scene within the hotel, but very close to the action. Definitely would stay again.

We said hello at the reception two days in advance of our check-in, asking for a quiet room, and we were told the room was in the pool area and was not noisy. After my wife and I had checked into this hotel, she started complaining about everything of the room, small room and space. And I tried to coax her: let's not expect too much. It's Station 2, […] good location, close to D'Mall, and besides it's just a sleeping place. It's just a sleeping place. That's how we persuaded ourselves into everything whenever the hotel frustrated us: - The water coming off the tap and sprinkler was not stable, it almost trickled out. The water pressure could change three times throughout a brief shower. - The air-con reminded us of itself every minute it's on. - The only bed in the room gave a creaking sound with every turn I made. We thought we could handle it until we found out that the "no loud music after 12 o'clock midnight" rule never worked. The bass from the sub-woofer continued into morning. At 2 o'clock in the morning I dashed to the front desk to complain and check if I could move to a quieter room. (I found my room was the closest to the beach despite the arrangement we made earlier). The receptionist asked my room number and never followed up. They sort of gave you a feeling "we're sitting on a gold mine, so we don't need to worry." Although we had paid in full for four nights, we gave up our last night to escape that place before we went mad. Lesa meira

Very nice hotel and located right on the beach. The staff is helpful and courteous. We book our ticket for the supreme room and we got the upgrade for the best in the hotel including the jaccuzzi. Our stay was very good and I will return anytime to this hotel again.

This was our first time in Boracay. This beach-front hotel is in a convenient location, right in the middle of everything. Close to DeMall shopping centre and walking distance to Station 1 where the boats are located that take you to your excursions. The room we were in fit a family of 5 comfortably with a nice balcony that overlooked the swimming pool. […] Bonus was the complimentary full breakfast buffet. Upon our check-in we were greeted with shell necklaces and a nice cold drink which was a nice reception since we were so hot from walking to the hotel. Be prepared to walk about 100m with your luggage along the beach path to get to the hotel as there is no road access for vehicles to bring you directly to the front entrance. Overall this hotel was a nice hotel to stay in for a family. Customer service was good, drinks at the bar during happy hour was cheap, my kids loved the Ube shakes! Leave your workout clothes at home, the only disappointment was the fitness room. Fitness equipment were all broken, the only functioning things were the weights. fantastic! Best location- quiet and in the middle of everything. We have been there for 3 nights in late September - the pool was close for renovation so they upgraded our room to a 2 floor suite - it was amazing!

andthe hotel is ideally located in stn. 2 so it is near to where the beach, restaurants, shopping mall. breakfast is also very good I lke the congee although they could have put some chicken strips and century eggs on it then it would have been the best , the staff were very freindly and accomodating. If you are looking for comfotable beach front hotel yet affortable, this would be it. The room was fairy big and bed was very comfortable. a minute walk to D mall and party places...beach is just in front of hotel. You could use beach chairs and the hotel provides beach towel as well. I was surprised that I was upgraded to a suite when I checked in. It had three rooms and a jacuzzi, which heated after five hours. The hotel is old, but well maintained and the staff is very friendly. The beach, however, was a little crowded for me.

With no entrance accessible by car, you have to drag your 20kg luggage through the crowds & up the sand to get into your hotel. That's after they leave u at the airport stranded with no transfer that was organized with two emails detailing arrival time!! And then no apology! Also no welcome drink arrived at our room after the huge saga to get there. […] No hand towels, WORST SHOWER I've ever used!! Worst buffet breakfast we've ever had too. This hotel is located in the middle of the party area of Boracay. I have two very different experiences of this hotel: The first is a good location friendly day personal and I must say the rooms are good. The second is a night reception that first night harashed us in a very racistic way. I complained the morning after, and I thought that was it. […] Then one of the persons is doing a similar stunt the night after... And I must say that I was amazed... We have been having friends and relatives stay in the hotel for the last 10 years. The location is as good as it gets. Unfortunately, being in the middle of all the action makes it very noisy. The bands in the vicinity do not stop playing until 5 in the morning. If you are after a restful stay, this is not the place for you. The management has also […] replaced old lights in the hotel with LED lights for energy savings. This fine in line with energy efficiency. The problem is that they did not compensate for the lower light output by adding more fixtures. Many areas are poorly lit including the breakfast area. Another complaint is the poor breakfast offerings. The management should invest in a decent cooks to plan meals. They have always had mediocre breakfast and has not gotten better through the years. What a pity. It is a good thing the location gives you many dining choices around you. What a pity, we used to really love this hotel. just a view steps to the famoust white beach... the rooms are nice and good sized... the only thing i was not satisfyed is the breakfast... entrance and breakfast room are too close... and the buffet is not on the level of a 4* hotel... at night you can hear the beat of the disco nearby till 3 am... but isnt that bad... only if you dont have a deep […] sleep... the internet connection in the public area is too bad... but they offer 2 computers in the business center during 24 hours good: the d-mall with lots of shops is close, also many restraurants. if somebody likes good steaks: the steakhouse offers delicous beef. I had actually stayed in Boracay an extra day and moved from a penthouse suite to this place so I might be a bit biased, but the penthouse suite cost the same amount since I was travelling with a group. The hotel is located right on the beach, and the service is good, but I think my main problem was that the hotel is trying to be something it's not. […] First off, it's very boutiquey, and I didn't even know what that meant till I got there. It's like it tries too hard to be all modern and cool, but under the facade, it's actually in disrepair. I know that's difficult to convey so let's get to a few specifics. * wireless didn't work from my room, had to go to the lobby * bathroom smelled bad, not that it was unclean, probably just bad sewage control * it rained, there was major flooding in the ground hallways of the hotel In summation, it wasn't bad, I just feel you could do more with your money in Boracay. Originally looking to book for 2 nights but took a chance and made it a 3 nighter - should have extended for a week! The hotel was literally steps away from the beach, and the location in the middle of boat station 2 was ideally situated for those wanting to bar hop. Considering the close proximity to the restaurant bar next door, our room was very […] quiet! But if we had anything to complain about it was the very loud music in the upstairs lounge, where our ears were assaulted when we wanted to watch the people strolling by while we sipped our drinks. The hotel staff were very helpful in attending to our needs, and responded rather quickly if we needed something. Here's a tip that we try and practice wherever we go and it usually works - try to learn the names of the staff and treat them with courtesy and respect and you'll be responded to in kind. Hotel staff are not slaves, no matter who you are or how much you think you've paid for the accommodations... It's not only you get what you pay for, you get back what you dish out too. Singles, couples and family friendly. We would definitely consider choosing this hotel again when we go back to Boracay. Reasonably priced, we got our money's worth! Lesa meira

Negatives: bed comforters a bit old & should be replaced, no slippers provided, pool could be cleaner, horrible alcoholic mixed drinks (pretty much sugar water), slow beach towel service, a bit on the expensive side, but it's Boracay, and an outdated gym. Everything is excellent except the loud music coming from the bar across our room. Maybe because we are close to the music bar. Staff are very corteous an the ambience of the room is a sure winner. The pool is nice and my son really like it than the beach water. Definitely i will go back again soon.

The hotel staff are amazing. The location is great. The rooms are nice. The pool is pretty. The brunch is not half bad. Actually, it's better than most places we stayed on our trip. That being said, DO NOT stay on the second floor of the main building unless you plan to be out until 2 am every night you visit. The loud noise of the bar makes it IMPOSSIBLE […] to go to sleep until after 2 am any night of the week. Don't get me wrong, when it was Friday night, and we were out anyway, it was no harm no foul. But, on a Wednesday, it's nice to get to bed before 2 am so you can get in a nice dive (which there are so many cool ones to do) or boating or something else fun in before lunch and sun time... and, if you can't fall asleep until 2:30 you can't do that. The "thunk thunk thunk" of the bass of the bar sound system is enough to drive you over the edge at 1:45 in the morning.... the hotel is beautiful, and, aside from this one issue (and the fact that there was day time contruction by the pool which was annoying unless you tuned it out via headphones and some good tunes) we very much enjoyed our stay.
