Flott hótel í gömlu húsi en full hljóðbært á milli herbergja. Var með herbergi út að götu og það er slatta traffík þarna hjá allan sólarhringinn. Einnig fór gesturinn í herberginu fyrir ofan okkur að færa til hús gögn kl. 5 um morguninn.

Hótelið er í góðu umhverfi og starfsfólk mjög vinalegt. Rétt handan við hornið eru sporvagnarnir bæði gömlu sem fara upp brekkurnar og í gegnum ítalska og kínahverfið og endar á Market þar sem allar verslanirnar eru. Nýju sporvagnarnir þeir fara meðfram bryggjunum og sjávarsíðunni og hægt er að taka þá eða labba að bryggju 35 að mig minnir þar sem ferjan til Alcatrez er. Eina sem hefði fullkomnað þessa hóteldvöl var ef það hefði verið þráðlaust net upp í herberginu. En það er eingöngu í andyrinu. Mun klárlega gista aftur á þessu hóteli í framtíðinni þegar farið verður aftur til San Francisco

Við vorum að leita að hóteli miðsvæðis í San Francisco og sem væri á hagstæðu verði, hreinlegt. Hótel Diva uppfyllti þessar kröfur auk þess að vera með mjög góða og persónulega þjónustu.

The Kabala is a great place to stay. TVs would have helped, since Half Moon Bay rolls up its streets pretty early.

I'm from Half Moon Bay and it's been somewhat difficult with the changes over the years. I go to HMB about once every month or so and stay with friends, family or hotels/inns. This was my first time at Zaballa house. I was impressed and, the 'Breakfast' appeared fantastic (we had met with family elsewhere for breakfast). The evening wine, crackers, […] cheese, and meats exceeded my expectations. The woman working the desk when I checked in, I think her name is Sue?, was very friendly. She also grew up just a few blocks from me so it was nice to chat about the 'old days' on the coast. I would stay there again and recommend it to anyone. Lesa meira

nice location, nice people, just don't stay on the first floor near the entrance, no tv and you could not open the drapes as shoppers can look into rooms, also the eating area was outside door, noisey.

Pros: great breakfast, inc. perfectly ripe berries and quiche. Close to restaurants. Nice staff and owner. Fireplace. Convenient location to explore up and down the coast, without paying beachfront prices. Cons: no sound proofing between rooms. Wine and cheese Friday night was great. Zaballa lodge is a unique and lovely place to stay. We enjoyed our night there. Service is friendly and the rooms clean and comfortable.

I stayed in room #23 and I could hear the people in room #24. I have never been in a room and had no insulation between the rooms before. We stayed in room #22 the second night and it was better for whatever reason. But, that room had two full size beds rather than a queen. The room was huge and you could have easily put 2 queens. "B&B in Half Moon Bay"
Loved almost everything about our romantic overnight stay here. The fireplace provided warmth and atmosphere during a heavy wind/rainstorm. There was a huge claw foot Jacuzzi tub, big enough for two. (Hot water not always available) The bed was comfortable. Breakfast delicious. The windows shook all night in the storm, which woke us up several times […] - old building needs some updating. "Zaballa House - so close, yet takes you far away"
Zaballa House, one of the original residences in Half Moon Bay, is smack in the middle of a charming downtown. The room was enormous - with a fireplace and a bed more comfortable than my own. And the breakfast (after all, this IS a B&B)......absolutely scrumptious, with homemade quiche, a housemade granola, assorted fresh berries and yogurt.

My boyfriend and I live in a very noisy part of San Francisco and decided we needed a couple of nights of peace and quiet. Zaballa House was just that place. We had a large room in the building adjacent to the house itself. It was very quiet, and the room, while nothing fancy, was very comfortable. The breakfast was wonderful. Homemade quiche and cereal, […] lots of fresh fruit, etc. Main Street and the surrounding area were perfect for a long stroll, and there were some nice restaurants. Do not stay here unless you are in the one of the actual bed and breakfast rooms with nice furnishings. We were put in the annex, which was just like a plain old motel room, which we could have gotten cheaper at a Holiday Inn or Best Western. This looked to be a converted office. Easy chair was dirty, deck had cigarette butts on it, fireplace did not […] work. Front desk woman was very unfriendly and put out when we arrived for breakfast a few minutes early; we were greeted with a stern "breakfast is not ready." We told her we would read the paper in the parlor. There was no wine and cheese as stated. Breakfast was its only redeeming factor. If you are looking for a true bed and breakfast, pay more and stay down the street at the Mill Rose Inn, which is beautifully furnished and has a wonderful staff. Lesa meira

Delightful hostess and lovely room. Missed the tv but it gave us an opportunity to walk around Half Moon Bay and we found fun shops and restaurants. The breakfast was outstanding.

"Convenient and Historical Experience"
My wife and I booked the Zaballa House through Hotels.com because of the price and convenience. The hotel sits on Main St, which was the best aspect of the hotel. We simply walked across the street to the Pasta Moon Italian Restaurant. The food was excellent there and required a 30 second walk. The specific room we stayed in was #20 and it was very […] spacious, but the decorations were lacking. The room still had a VHS television, so you can get an idea of the environment. There was hardly anything on the walls and no window treatments so the room felt colder than it should of. If you can look past the blandness of the room, it was comfortable. Breakfast was fun because it was like a B&B. We sat at a table with other guests, so this caused us to engage in pleasant conversation with them and the staff. I did research the history of the hotel and found out that it was one of the oldest buildings in town. If you like the historical experience, this may be up your alley. I can sum it up by saying that the price was $20-$50 cheaper than competing hotels in the area and the location made it extremely convenient. "Nice location, Very outdated."
This hotel was a nicer price than the other hotels, however, it reflects the outdated and poor comfort of the rooms. The beds are extremely hard, the walls are paper thin, the floors creaked everywhere. The nicest parts about our stay was the bathroom had a very large nice tub with jets, and the breakfast was good. "GREAT VALUE!"
Great location, on the main street in Half Moon Bay. Many great beaches within 10 miles. Wonderful breakfast, with fresh fruit, quiche, etc. The suite was really one HUGE room... ideal for a family, just bring an air mattress. We enjoyed the complimentary glass of wine in the afternoons, too. The staff was friendly and helpful.

Great for the price. We were upgraded to a suite room for some reason. Very comfortable and clean. Breakfast was great. Front desk person was friendly and personable. Recommended a wonderful spot for us for dinner. As expected in a Bed and Breakfast, room was a bit older, but nicely decorated and pleasant. We really enjoyed our stay.

Very close to everything, so that's convenient, but the rooms need work. Carpets dirty, towels very thin,the room was too hot. This is August and I think the pilot light was on in the fireplace keeping the room too warm had to keep the door open sometimes. Breakfast was the same for two days. "Lækker morgenmad"
Når vi ankom kl 21.00 var der ingen i receptionen og alt var låst, vi blev kun ved tilfældighed lukket ind på hotellet hvor der indenfor låg en besked til os med nøgle osv. Ellers var værelset glimrende, rent og komfortabelt, morgenmaden fantastisk.
