I would have given five stars, but we made the mistake of taking the tour (sales pitch) for the Welk Resort (timeshare). First and last time we EVER do that type of thing, not even worth the free show tickets we had received to do so. The lodge is beautiful, serene setting, close to the pool area/club house. Room (one bedroom villa) was gorgeous, high […] end apartment living. 2 fireplaces, full dining room table with sitting for about 5, plus bar stools, back deck or patio, table and chairs out there, two tvs, tons of storage space, Provided kitchen basics and extras: salt/pepper, plates, bowls, utensils, pots/pans, bbq equipment, cookie sheets/cupcake pans, blender, coffee maker, toaster, microwave, full oven, full fridge with ice maker, full dishwasher (finish soap tablets) and palmolive too, stacked washer/dryer (one sample box of surf), trash bags, paper towels....the list is endless. We booked thru hotels.com for two days and extended for two more once there, it was that nice. Lesa meira

The condition of the condo was great. But nowhere in any of the reservation process was I informed of it being in the Welk Resort.There is no signage for the "Lodges of Timber Ridge Branson". After driving up and down Hwy 165 looking for it, they Welk Resort was the only place the street address would assoiciate with. By the way, the street address […] number is NOT posted either. The rooms were very nice. We stayed in the hotel for the first night and then we moved to a one bedroom lodge with kitchenette. The rooms were very clean and the beds were comfortable. The location is good for shows as well as easy to get to the lake. The only problems for me was that the fitness room was a little small for the size of the place (only […] 2 treadmills and on elliptical). We did not go during peak times so only had to wait once for the elliptical.The "Splashatorium" is a glorified swimming pool. My 7 year old loved it, but the 11 year old did not. We stayed at the Lodges for spring break and found the place to be nice and quiet. The room itself was spacious and well kept. Unfortunately we had a few issues with a broken TV, a leaky washing machine and no internet half the time. Also my kids wanted to go swimming in the morning but the pool did not open until noon. Room was very clean. Nice to have a kitchenette. The kids enjoyed the water park. The location was convenient for going to either the Strip or Silver Dollar City. Would stay again if we ever go to Branson again.

Enjoyed our stay overall. Room was not showing ready in their computer system upon arrival but it only took a few minutes then we were on our way. Lodges have a nice rustic / modern feel. Great location.

It was a nice hotel with great amenities. They did not tell us that there was no room service in the winter. So we had to leave the room for all of our meals or cook ourselves. The walls are paper thin and we could hear our neighbors talking and snoring. We stayed next to a family who had really loud kids! Splash-a-torium good for kids 8 or under. Only 1 waterslide. Resort had activities to do there if you didn't want to leave resort like their own version of build a bear. Not as fancy as mall build a bear but my kids still had fun with it. Location was beautiful. We would definitely book again

The staff were great- friendly, helpful and welcoming. The lodge was full loaded with everything that we could need and the rooms were designed to inspire family games and activities and be confortable and cozy. Waiting until the last minute paid off for us. We had searched and searched for the perfect room for our annual family Christmas trip to Branson and had been burned many times in the past but this time was a pleasant suprise. We got a last minute deal on hotels.com for a discounted rate. We stayed in a one bedroom with living room and"mini" kitchen. […] The furnishings were in good repair and up to date, check in was a breeze, room was clean and ready early. We stayed in the Pine lodge and had a view of the pond area from our balcony, everything was really great. If I had one complaint it would be the area was a little small, not what we expected from the pics on the website when booking this particular room. The location of this resort might not be for everyone. It is off the strip and a person would never find it if they don't know it is part of the Welk resort, which isn't advertised during booking. All in all it was a good choice and I would consider this location again for my family. Lesa meira

We had a wonderful stay at Timber Ridge Branson. The room was great and the kids had a blast! The beds were comfortable and the room was very nice. The only thing that I would have liked to have had was a full length mirror. :(

Great place to stay for our honeymoon. All the amenities were very nice, especially the full size washer and dryer in the unit. We will be staying there again when we go back to Branson,MO.

It was a great room. Also all the amenities in the room were great. I would definitely recommend this to anybody thinking of a getaway with the kids or with the spouse.

We were on the bottom floor in the Pine Lodge and could hear the people above every time they walked, talked, opened/closed doors, snored and other things grownups do when they are not sleeping! They did this all night long and into the morning hours. My husband called the next morning to see if we could get a top floor room or a bottom floor with no […] one above us, but they were full. We were told to call security the next night if they were loud again. He tried to explain they weren't being obnoxious, talking loudly or playing loud music or tv, it was simply the lack of sound proofing! Additionally, I killed a brown recluse spider in the bathroom, the restaurant is very run down and the buffet was not good. The interior is lovely and unfortunately the quality of sound proofing does not match it. We are not staying here again. Lesa meira

Very upscale lodge at a reasonable cost whether staying a night or a week. All the amenities you could want and more from elevated fireplace between the bed and the jacuzzi to the fully stocked full kitchen to the huge walkin shower with three showerheads. the stay at the lodge was great, but it took us a long time to find it. I pulled it up on the webb and it was the wrong directions. I has no idea it was part of the welk resort. You should let people know this. I finally has to go to the imformation center in branson and they told me to turn in to the welk resort and it was behind there. /A lot of miss […] communication. There was no housekeeping service "because the Lodges are set up for one week stays." You are expected to empty the trash, start the dishwasher, and tidy up before leaving to avoid a $50 housekeeping charge. And to top it all off, there is an envelope in the room to leave a tip for housekeeping. I am accustomed to leaving a daily tip for housekeeping, […] so if there had been housekeeping, the envelope would have been an appreciated touch. Perhaps the Lodges do not have housekeeping because they are actually timeshares that are not yet sold. However, I have stayed in similar timeshares before, and when they are sold as a hotel room, you always get housekeeping. I recommend management change their policy when the room is sold over expedia or other sites as a hotel room. The one bedroom suite itself was beautiful. The walls were thin. The "Splashatorium" that you pay $25 pp for is nothing more than a large pool with a water slide. My kids did have a great time there however. Lesa meira

The Hotel was very nice but the service was slow. We only needed towells once and toilet paper once and we had to call 3+ times to get it. When I moved the sofa in the living room so we could put the sofa bed where we wanted it I found that no one had cleaned under it in a while. I even found a remote control for a RC car. We rented a one bedroom condo (for lack of a better term) that was spacious and more than confortable for our family of 4. There was a queen sofa sleeper in the living room which was handy, as well as a king sized bed in the bedroom. The resort has a nice pool area that is great for kids. We ate at the Stage Door for the breakfast buffet one morning and it was a basic breakfast buffet. We were at the Lodges at Timber Ridge. If you want to spend time at the pool with your kids this is a great place to stay. The room was very updated, functional, and very nice.

Everything was very good at the lodge. We did not stay at the hotel. The only negative I can say is the walls and ceilings were very thin and we could hear other families. We weren't there much, so it wasn't too bad, but hoped it would have been a bit quieter.

The room was beautiful but the floors were dirty and there was a mildew smell coming from the bathroom. Other than that, it was nice and the location and amenities were nice.

Half of the lodges have a view of power lines, apartment complex, and then the hills. The other half has a lovely pond, trees, and hills view. Landscaping around the complex is very nice and makes for some nice picturesque scenes. Our room had 2 TVs with 2 DVD players, washer/dryer, microwave/convection, stove, dishwasher, refrigerator, 4 seat dinning […] table, balcony with 2 chairs, and a couch/pullout-bed and had a nice roomy lodge feel. We stayed at the lodges for three nights. The room we had was beautiful, but the bed was not comfortable. The pool great for the kids. My stay was great until I went to go check out. The lady at the front desk informed me that I have a 5.00 charge on my room that I need to take care of. I ask her for what, and she tells me it was for making LOCAL phone […] calls from my room. I said it would have been nice if they put a sign by the phone that told you they charged for local calls. She replied that there was a black book in the room that explained that, I told her there was no black book in the room,I was there for three days I would have found it if it was really there. She said that I had to pay for the phone calls anyway. .... I know its just five dollars but it really made me mad, I have a cell phone and I would have used it. I dont think that is good customer service. I have stayed with them for two years in a row and now they have lost a loyal customer over 5.00. Lesa meira

Hotel is INCREDIBLY difficult to find. Address will not come up on gps. Also no phone number is available to the hotel if you are outside of business hours. We had a great time, we have an almost 4 year old and 17month old and had a blast here! You don't HAVE to leave the resort, big water slide (which my 3 year old LOVED), indoor/outdoor pool, splash park, putt putt and more! We had 3 small children and they loved the lodge! The lodge was beautiful and nicely updated. We liked having a separate bedroom that we could put the baby in and close the door so she could sleep while we watched tv. The pool/splash area was great! We enjoyed our stay so much we decided to stay one more night. The resort lay out is very family friendly. I would recommend to stay in the lodges. We have an eleven year old son with Autism and a toddler both who really enjoyed the water park! Only recommendation to resort please update the restaurant, a little dated.......

Nice out of the way place (off the "strip") but still easy to get around. Was placed in the newer addition, which meant a walk down the hill or a drive to the pool area, but not bad. The check in was extremely friendly and then they send you to the concierge for your parking pass/ticket sales pitch. Just answer no to everything and you are on your way. […] Had a major A/C leak in bathroom the first night, but fixed promptly the next day. Paid for the larger unit and it was well worth it. Had a difficult time finding the lodge as the address on the website doesn't exist except on the resort property. Booked the jacuzzi suite and the fireplace didn't work. The second night the air conditioning went out and became very uncomfortable. Parking was also very limited and nearly impossible to park anywhere near our room. Lodges at Timber Ridge was a clean , neat , family , oriented lodge. My Wife and I did not use the pool or other amenities but did observe others and they where being enjoyed. Our room or I would say one bedroom apartment was just the right size for us during our one week stay. You do not get roomservice daily like a hotel but it has a washer and dryer […] for you to use if you need to reclean your towels. We where at home and it was quiet at night with security also.
