Ok location. Decor was very old school and the pool was completely in the shade so we made little use of it. The main reason for staying there was that it was a good price for somewhere with a pool but without sun it was useless. The main issue was that there were no safes in the rooms only behind the reception. And these literally consisted of a wooden […] box with a pad lock you would buy for around £2. I had a wonderful experience at that hotel, personnel are great, they don't forget what you like. The food was great with a good variety of choice. The place is good close enough of the beach and Bangala road but far enough to have piece if wanted. Restaurant and bar got a lot of customer so you can meet some one for friendship or more...

This hotel is terrible. The staff was not friendly, the water wasn't working and when it was it came out brown in colour. The hotel entrance had little lighting and was dingy. I wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone.

I only stayed here for one night but i liked it. It was one block from the beach and everyone that worked there was nice. The night crew barely spoke english but understood all my questions. The rooms were clean and my overall experience there was good. For the price you cant beat it

Its a good Inn, with all the Amenities. The rooms were Clean & quite spacious. Also the staff was quite polite & helping which is hard to get in Thailand.The Inn has a swimming pool, sauna & pool table, all of which you can use without paying any extra charges. Also the Wi-fi connectivity is good. It is located just 300meters away from the Patong […] Beach, so can go to Beach anytime ones want. But it is a bit far from the Phuket Bus Station, so if you are coming by bus to Phuket & then need to go to Anchalee Inn, then it is a 25-30mins drive & the Tuk-Tuk will charge around you 100Baht per person, which can be less if you very good bargaining skills. The Taxi's available from Phuket bus station charge 450Baht for 4 people. Anchallee Inn also has a restaurant on the Ground floor. Also there are some good Agents office's near Anchalee Inn from where you can book the tour for phi phi or phang nga bay islands. So all & all its a very good Inn for the price you get. I would recommend this Inn, if you are looking at some cheap places to stay in Phuket. Lesa meira

Clean, nice hotel. Pool is decent and staff are lovely. Its a bit of a walk to Mall and Bangla Road. Would probably stay there again if we were on a budget.

I enjoyed my stay at Anchalee Inn the owner lives there and take pride keeping the place up. You can find cheaper places to eat but for the easy of use and quality of the food I eat at the hotel several time. I booked last minute and they gave me a room without a window and that was terrible for a week but I don't want to say the whole hotel is bad […] the hotel seemed good the staff was helpful. I used the onsite gym several times and the pool walking to the beach was about 5 minutes away and it is at the end of a busy street of shops. Lesa meira

Got to Anchalee Inn, it's OK at best. Location is fine, handy for the beach and Patong madness. Arrived and they walked us down the road to a far inferior hotel, which we found out was much cheaper than Anchalee and put us in a double bed, when we stipulated twin on our booking. The hotel is definitely not very sound proof and one is constantly awakened at night by the youthful visitors who stay out drinking until 4 or 5 in the morning. The wi-fi in the hotel never worked and repeated inquiries about this brought no satisfaction. The swimming and fitness venues looked appalling, as though they hadn't been used for many years […] and no one was ever seen using them. When I upgraded to a better room my balcony allowed me to see the wall of another hotel and the wall of one under construction (I would have changed hotels but most were full at peak travel time). The A/C in the new room was very poor for very hot and humid Phuket; when I inquired about it I was told to wait a while, (a few hours?), and then the room would feel cooler. While this may have been a good hotel 10 to 20 years ago, this is definitely not a place one would want to spend a vacation in Phuket. It is about 15 minutes walk to the beach, but almost every hotel in Phuket is also about the same, or less. The price does not accord with the quality of the hotel; it should be much cheaper. The hotel was in a quiet location about 20 minutes walk to Bangla Road and only 5 minutes walk to the beach. The pool was a little small and due to buildings surrounding it, sunlight only penetrated the pool area for approximately 2 hours a day. While I stayed there, on some days, construction work was being done to the premises next door and it was […] a little bit noisy and discomforting. What a great find! I have visited Patong three times now and found that the Anchalee Inn was a great place for value, cleanliness and service. The staff where extremely friendly and made every effort to ensure I enjoyed my stay. My room was more than adequate for somewhere to retreat to of a night and never once did I feel the need to be critical of […] its cleanliness or comfort. Whilst it was a basic set up of a queen bed with minimal furniture and bathroom, the room itself still provided everything I needed to ensure my needs were met. It also offered a small balcony that although only overlooked the pool, I found that the effort to beautify it with plants was sufficient enough to offer a relaxing place to sit. If you are in Patong to enjoy and explore it, then save your money and support the local Thai's. They will appreciate it and in return make every effort to make your holiday just that little bit better. The Anchalee Inn is a good example of this. Its location let me easily walk to the beach within 5 minutes and Bangla Rd in around a healthy 10 minutes if I was to wet my feet along the beach. 50-60 Baht was also enough on a motor bike taxi in either direction if I took up this option. In comparison to other hotels I have stayed at in Patong, Anchalee Inn matched them all for service and comfort without all the extra bling. With this in mind I found I had more Baht in my pocket for shopping, eating, sight seeing and night life. Well done Anchalee Inn and thank you! Lesa meira

Picked up at the aiport late night without problem, after the long flight and the 45 minute taxi ride, we though we reached heaven. Not so, as the hotel is a simple hotel for budget travellers, but nevertheless our stay there was great. The nearness to the beach and the facility to move around the hotel made as feel as we were in out own rented beach-home. […] The food was fantastic and the cleanliness perfect. Amazing the fancy way they dress the towels everytime they clean the rooms. The cleaning ladies wrere extermely pleasant and friendly, although a lyttle noisy in the morning, but that's fine. Great Staff excellent restaurant n Bar open till very Late . Hotel location was like 10 mins walk to bangla rd and 3 mins walk to the beach . This hotel worked out very well for me as i was solo and single . but the hotel is old with the rooms n everything very outdated but very clean . the mattress however was a 2 pc set which was very uncomfortable […] at times but u get used to it in a couple of days . This hotel is too far away from the main shopping centre Jungceylon and Bangla Road nightlife. Takes about 15 minutes if you walk at a decent pace. The first night was not good at all, the double bed was actually two beds joined together! The center of the bed was rock hard and there was no way you could sleep near it. The plumbing in the bathroom acted like a sprinkler system and that was when there was actually enough water pressure to take a shower! The next morning I complained and asked for […] a refund, but knowing it was unrefundable I offered a fine that I could pay. This was declined. The hotel staff were quite understanding of my inconveinience so they offered me another room. They offered me an upgrade (for an extra fee) and I declined as I didn't know if I was just going to abandon the hotel and get another. So then they gave me the choice of three other rooms and of those, two rooms had a bed that was genuinely a double bed and I could actually sleep on it. I changed rooms and after 1 or 2 nights they gave me a free upgrade to a room that had a window, which was quite good of them, but I have to say if I had to pay the extra money I wouldn't be impressed with the view of the building next door. All in all, I had absolutely no problems after this, the hotel staff were friendly and hospitable, the foyer was comfortable and the food was not bad. Security was good with someone at the front desk at all times. The pool while clean and atractive was only small and I never swam in it. The elevator was good and I thought it was fast enough. As I stayed during the off season I was lucky they could offer me other rooms but if it had of been the peak season....well it would have been tough luck i'm sure. So if asked if I would stay again, I maybe would, but I would have to confirm that I had a real bed and that the plumbing was in good order. I think that when you book a room these are the two BASIC things that are expected when you go for a holiday. Lesa meira

Ligger langt fra vandet. Værelserne er slidte og der lugter konstant af kloak og noget andet udefinerbart. Toilettet stoppede og det måtte vi selv fixe. Der er enormt meget larm fra vejen. Maden er god og personalet smilende.

Opholdelet på Anchalee Inn var en helt og aldeles behagelig oplevelse. Jeg havde 4 overnatninger, mens jeg ventede på min travel partner skulle ankomme til Phuket, og vi sammen kunne rejse videre. Til at starte med blev jeg modtaget med et smil i receptionen, og fik min værelsesnøgle. Værelset var pænt og rent, med en fin billig minibar, samt god og […] gratis WI-FI forbindelse. Rengøringspersonalet var utrolig flinke, og der blev gjort pænt rent hver dag, også selvom der en enkelt morgen blev sovet længe. Det lå 5-10 minutters gang fra den berygtede Bangla Road, som man kan synes om hvad man vil. Personligt var jeg glad for belligenheden lidt væk, så det rent faktisk var muligt at gå på gaden i fred. Stranden ligger 300 meter ned ad gaden, og det er vel at mærke den lidt mere stille del af stranden. Alt i alt var Anchalee Inn helt og aldeles fantastisk, i forhold til prisen, og formålet med opholdet taget i betragtning. Lesa meira

Naast het hotel wordt nog een hotel gebouwd. Deze enorme herrie begint smorgens om 07.00 uur, ook in het weekend. Ook vond de eigenaar het nodig om zijn vrouw te slaan waar iedereen bij was. Bij commentaar kon je meteen vertrekken. Ik ga er nooit meer heen.

Rigtig hyggeligt hotel,god belligenhed,søde og hjælpsomme mennesker på hotellet,altid smilende. Tæt på stranden og i gå afstand til Centrum. Eneste minus er hotellets swimming pool,der er næsten ingen sol,da der er høje bygninger rundt om hele poolen. Man har heller ikke mulighed for at ligge ved poolen og få lidt sol. Budget hotel met alleen de basisvoorzieningen. (Deluxe)Kamer is simpel uitgevoerd maar wel goed schoon. In de badkamer was alleen warm water in de douche, niet in de wastafel. Airco heeft twee standen; aan (standje diepvries) en uit (standje bloedheet). Hotel ligt aan een drukke weg en is erg gehorig. Het stand van Patong is op 5 minuten lopen en het […] uitgaansgebied op ongeveer 15 minuten lopen. Het restaurant in het hotel serveert prima eten voor een goede prijs. Hotelpersoneel spreekt slechts beperkt Engels en is waarschijnlijk daardoor soms erg kortaf en ontwijkend. Al met al een aardig hotel voor de budgetreiziger. L'hôtel gagnerait à être rafraichit, décoration vieillotte mais les chambres sont propres. La piscine ne donne pas envie, limite sale. L'hôtel est assez bien situé à 10min à pieds de la plage, et à 15min de Bangla Road. Beaucoup de magasins et de restaurants le long de la plage.

メインのバンクら通りまでとても離れていて不便。プールはあるが、周りの高い建物に囲まれているので、日当たりは悪いし、小さい。サウナはスイッチが入っていず、使えない。部屋も日当たりわるし。テレビは小さいし、シャワーは湯沸しのものがトイレに取り付けてあり、アンコンフォタブル。インターネット予約のため、失敗した。

Bortset fra at elevator var ude af drift de første 20 dage, og min kone er dårligt gående, hvorfor trapper er ikke lige sagen. Til gengæld er restaurant virkelig god med rigeligt at spise uanset hvad, og familien som lever i Thailand havde ikke noget at klage over hvad angår udvalg og kvalitet. I have been many times in Phuket but last one, in Anchalee Inn, was the best. Not only because Anchalee is very comfortable and clean, with kind and thoughtful service, and has a very good restaurant (best seafood in Patong). Not only for it’s location, near from the city life but quiet and relaxing, just a walk from Patong beach. And not only because […] it’s so cheap for a three stars at the best level, offering swimming pool , Wi-Fi etc.. My last holiday in Patong was the best for all this reasons, of course, and more.
