When planning a trip Venice we were advised not to stay in or very close to Venice. So we decided on this hotel only 30 min drive to Venice. And we hit the jackpot. This hotel is royalty. The garden surrounding the hotel is HUGE and very romantic. The hotel is like nothing else. It’s more like a mansion. The room was very big, more like a suite. I could not believe the elegance for this price. The whole time we stayed there I was expecting someone to slap me in the face and charge me three times more. We are still amazed by value for our money. It’s like something from the TV show bachelor. Highly recommended.

The hotel is not in Mestre. We had difficulties in finding the hotel as it is in Marghera. So if you use GPS search the street in Marghera not Mestre. The hotel interiors really need updating, specially the rooms. The bathrooms have been renovated but nothing else seems to be done since the 60's. Good communications to Venezia by bus.
"Hotel Roma"
Hotel was easy to get to from Airport and Staff were friendly and helpful when needing directions to get around the area. Near the Hotel is a lovely Restaurant that Hotel Roma staff recommended and a Gelato shop near as well.... Would definitely consider staying here the next time in Italy!
"Away from the Venice madness"
Upon arrival an older gentleman checked us in, he was not friendly at all, in fact he had an attitude as if he was doing us a favor by letting us rent a room in the hotel. The hotel room was very nice and clean, a bit small and not to many amenities for the price. Access to WiFi is super expensive. The hotel is about a 20 minute bus ride to Venezia. […] The airport is about a 45 minutes bus ride. The area where the hotel is located is a nice suburban community, so not a lot of businesses around. Lesa meira

Excellent value with easy access to Venice by bus. The staff is excellent, very friendly and helpful.
"Un hôtel au prix raisonnable, confortable"
Pratique pour visiter Venise : 20 minutes en bus et on est au début de la vielle ville de Venise (place Roma). Accueillant, propre, confortable, prix raisonnable. Une personne parle un peu français. Par contre il n'y a rien de particulier aux alentours de l’hôtel sauf un très bon glacier et un supermarché.

hotel ist einfach. personal nett und hilfsbereit. frühstückbuffet in ordung. zimmer klein und nicht ganz so sauber wie gewünscht. die lage und der preis sind jedoch die pluspunkte um dieses hotel für einen venedigbesuch zu buchen. in unmittelbarer nähe bushaltestelle mit direkter verbindung nach venedig alle 20 min.

Apesar de ficar em Mestre, próximo do hotel é possível pegar um ônibus para Veneza. O café-da-manhã é muito bom. O único problema foi a internet, que não consegui conectar, mas o staff disponibilizou acesso em um pc da hotel.

Nous sommes arrivés vers 21h à l'aéroport et...plus de bus pour l'hôtel donc nous avons pris un car plus cher qui s'arrête à la gare ferrovière donc après taxi... Sinon le bus pour Venise est direct mais rempli à ras bord ! La somme des prix des déplacements est cher...un hôtel à Venise même vaut peut être le coup...d'autant plus quand on marche be […] aucoup... Lesa meira

"Hotell Rett utenfor Venezia"
Vi var godt fornøyd med dette hotellet. 2 min. å gå til bussen fra hotellet som tar deg rett inn i Venezie på 20 min. Hyggelig betjening og bra rom. Veldig bra rengjøring. Positivt med inngjerdet gratis parkering.
Ausgezeichnetes Preis- Leistungsverhältnis. Freundliches zuvorkommendes Personal. Verkehrsgünstige Lage.

"Hôtel Roma Venise"
Petit hôtel calme. Très bon accueil. Ils parlent un peu le français, ce qui nous a permis d'avoir facilement des renseignements. Il est très bien désservi par les bus de ligne. Ligne 15 pour aller à l'hôtel de la gare de Mestre, ligne 6 pour aller à Venise(10 min). Petit déjeuner copieux et bon en libre-service.

Gutes drei Sterne Hotel ohne Restaurantbetrieb. Von hier aus Venedig zu erfahren, gibt auch ein Eindruck des Festlandes (Mestre, Marghera). Achtung: Für Busfahrer liegt Hotel Roma nicht in Mestre, sondern in Marghera! Wichtig um die richtigen Buslinien zu finden.
