Ákaflega þægilegt hótel til að hvíla sig milli flugferða á Schiphol-flugvelli: fastar rútuferðir af vellinum á hótelið, rólegt, snyrtilegt umhverfi, þægileg rúm og gott baðherbergi. Veitingastaðurinn Nadar var afbragðsgóður og morgunverðarhlaðborðið afar gott. Ég fer hiklaust hingað aftur ef ég þarf að millilenda í Amsterdam.

Amsterdam kom mér svo rosalega á óvart að það hálfa væri nóg. Hótelið er staðsett á albeta stað bæjarins. Held að ekkert hótel sé betur staðsett. Við vorum rosalega ánægð og mæli ég alveg rosalgea með bæði Amsterdam og hótelinu

Rétt eins og venjulega í Evrópu og þá sérstaklega Amsterdam, þá eru herbergin lítil. En þau eru tandurhrein og mjög kósý. Ég hef ferðast til Amsterdam yfir 50 sinnum og get sagt af þekkingu, að betri staðsetningu færðu varla. Það er mjög vont að taka keigubíla í Amster og þarna þarftu þess ekki. Þú tekur lestina frá flugstöðinni niður á Amsterdam central station. Þar gengur þú út og yfir síkið og götuna á vinstri hönd og ert kominn. Ekkert töskuvesen um alla borg, sem er svo sannarlega þess virði að losna við. Góð þjónusta á hótelinu, þrifið daglega, ig bara í alla staði prýðilegasta hótel

I had a really good weekend with my wife and friends at Krasnapolsky as usual. I would rather pay a little bit more for that kind of class and location than other 3 star hotels down town. I have stayed in lot of hotels in Amsterdam but since I picked Krasnapolsky I does not think about others if it is available

"D'Amsterdam - Quiet but close"
In comparison with other hotels in Amsterdam (in the same price range) I would recommend this one. Service was friendly, room was quite big and clean. It is in walking distance from the Center, but still in an quiet area. So thumbs up for D'Amsterdam

Though our room was tiny, it was representative of rooms commonly found in Europe. It was clean, bright, nicely decorated and a lovely bathroom.

Surprisingly quiet. Perfectly clean. Very good location for walking or catching a bus. Certainly an old Amsterdam/European feel. For the price it is fabulous with courteous and helpful staff.

"Great hotel"
Stayed in this hotel for 5 days. The hotel was clean, the staff was super friendly and helpful, and the location was great. Close to museums, the vondelpark, Leidsplein and its coffee shops and lots of restaurants, close to bus stop that leads to the Schipol Airport. The only exception was the size of the room, a bit small, but I guess that is a reality […] in Europe, specially amsterdam, where every square meter is roughly disputed. I guess that for a short stay it isn't a issue, since you spend most of your time exploring around. The front desk staff, especially a japanese lady, was very very helpful, giving instructions and directions everytime I needed. Would definitely come another time! Lesa meira

"A weekend in Amsterdam-Hotel D`Amsterdam"
The hotel is okey for a weeknend with friends, but I wouldnt reccomend it for a romantic stay. The room was clean (but not stylish or cosy..). Location is great! And so was the staff.
"Comfortable rooms & very helpfull reception staff"
We are 3 adults and found are fairly newly renovated room comfortable and roomy, not large but big enough. The bathroom is very small but compact and functionional, most importantly very clean. We dumped our rental car the day we arrived so we didnt need a car park, the only parking was out the front on the street. There seemed to be a few spare parks […] late in the arvo and i think overnight was about 12 euro. I have to make special comment on the reception staff, very helpfull and patient with english and couldnt do enough to make us comfortable. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone. Lesa meira
"Hotel D'Amsterdam"
The Hotel D'Amsterdam was easily found just a short walk from the main square in Leidsplein. On arrival we where welcomed and even though we where early we left are luggage and where told we could we could return to check in before our due time .The room was modern and clean , but did however have a smell of cigarette smoke(even though this is forbidden) […] the bathroom was again modern with a very good shower! Each day the maid came in and tidied / cleaned the room changing towels if required. At night we found the windows extremely flimsy rattling in the wind and allowing the noise outside to wake us , however this was only during a small amount of time and would not deter us from returning as on the whole we found it value for money and a pleasant stay Lesa meira
"Clean hotel near Vondelpark"
This hotel was clean, the staff were friendly they let us leave our bags as we got to the hotel a few hours before check in. It was in a nice quiet part of town but we could get to Vondelpark and the Leidesplain within 5 minutes. The only thing I would say is that if you want to go into the centre of Amsterdam of an evening like Dam Square or parts […] of the red light district it can be a bit of a walk back and the first few times we kept getting lost! The hotel itself though we couldn't fault we were given a room on the 1st floor, the stairs are steep but there is a lift. The bathroom although small was incredibly clean and always smelt nice. Overall for the price we paid I was happy with the choice we had made. Lesa meira
"Small but excellent location"
Spent 2 nights only so did not need anything special. Rooms are small but clean. Amazing location. 5 min walk from museum square... Would recommend it as a base for the exploration of Amsterdam
"GreatCityHotel - Just far enough away from Center"
A modest hotel, but we cannot tell you just how helpful and cheery Dennis (front desk) and the staff were. The hotel was in a rather quiet area, but very close to tram, outdoor cafes, museums, and of course the canals. This was a big bonus, as we would not have liked to be in the middle of the hussle & bussle of the Red Light district or so very close […] to the train station. We opted for breakfast at the hotel which was nice. Rooms were tiny (by North American Standards) but efficient. Small elevator, but this a plus as the stairs were pretty steep & narrow. Especially because of the helpful staff & location, we would recommend this as a great value hotel. Lesa meira
"Clean and quiet"
The spotless bathroom, friendly efficient management and general high standards of cleanliness saves this hotel from dinginess. Only in Amsterdam would such a basic place garner 3 stars, but the location was nice and quiet yet close to Leidsplein and the museums. My room was tiny. The Hotel may not look much from the outside, but I would recommend it. The rooms are small, but that comes with the way most converted buildings to Hotels turn out. The en-suite is small but more than adequate. Staff are very friendly, and go out of their way to help. The hotel is sited about 300-400m from Leidseplein( where there is a massive choice […] of places to eat & drink, the Rijksmuseum, Diamond museum, are only 5-10 min walk. It only takes 30 mins to walk to the station (minus luggage) otherwise take tramline 2 or 5. All in all a very nice place to stop. Lesa meira

The hotel D'Amsterdam in Amsterdam - a cozy, clean little hotel.The staff is very nice and helpful. It is within walking distance to different must- see sights and close to trams to lead you to other sights.
"Does what it says on the tin"
Friendly basic clean hotel, good value for Amsterdam. We only needed to stay 1 night and left early in the morning. Guy on reception was friendly and helpful, got us an early taxi which was waiting for us - they use a good taxi firm with reasonable fixed rates. Only minor gripe would be that there was no milk or coffee in the room only tea bags.Stairs […] are deadly steep (you have try them once for the thrill) but there is a lift so no problem. "Helpful staff and convenient location"
Excellent location, simple modern deco room, neat & tidy, cozy & cheerful breakfast, very pleasant & helpful staff which made our stay in Amsterdam a wonderful experience !

The staff were very friendly, and went out of their way to help us. We must be the millionth guests they've dealt with, but we never felt like it. The bathrooms actually looked like the photographs, and had lovely thermostatically controlled showers in them. The TV in the room was a modern LCD one. The room was quiet. The mattresses were in good condition, […] as was the bedding. Some effort had been made with the decor, and the room had clearly been decorated recently, with a new carpet. The breakfast was what you would expect in a small hotel, but the croissant was crisp and fresh from the oven, and the juices were real. None of the food appeared to have been sitting for long. I don't ask much of a cheap hotel - just the basics: and this hotel had them covered, and had a really good location near to a busy square with shops, cafes and bars to boot! Lesa meira

Good location but upgrade to larger room if you have more than one small luggage and prepare to pay for upgrade as it was not available for free even though we stayed for 4 nights. elevator is great as I can't do too many stairs & they are small and narrow. Dennis was a great help!
"Sentralt beliggende og hyggelig hotell"
Vi hadde et supert opphold på D' Amsterdam. Hotellet lå i en stille gate med gangavstand til sentrum og de fleste severdigheter. Frokosten var inkludert i prisen og var innholdsrik til å være et såpass lite hotell. Servicen var veldig god, vi fikk mange anbefalinger på utflukter og gode restauranter. Resepsjonen så litt sliten ut, og vi ble først litt […] skeptiske, men det viste seg at rommet og spiserommet var rent og fint. Det eneste minuset var at det var veldig lytt mellom rommene. Selv om det var veldig rolig mens vi var der, og ikke noe problem, kan det kanskje være det... ? Uansett - kommer gjerne tilbake! Lesa meira
"Ett Mycket trevligt Hotell!"
Vi är väldigt nöjda med D'Amsterdam. Läget Var superbt, i ett lugnt område men med gåavstånd till allt. Ca 5 min promenad till Lidseplein där bussar och spårvagnar gick till bl.a. flyget, närliggande områden, centralstationen m.m. Personalen på hotellet har varit väldigt trevliga och hjälpsamma, de har hjälpt oss med vägbeskrivningar samt att boka biljetter […] till rekommenderade seevärdigheter. Rummet var litet men mysigt och bekvämt. Nyrenoverat badrum + en liten kyl på rummet så man kunde köpa med sig lite nödprovianter. Vi rekommenderar detta hotell utan att tveka! Lesa meira

"Hotel D'Amsterdam - perfekt beliggenhet!"
Lite og meget hyggelig hotell for noen dagers ferieopphold i Amsterdam. Pent og rent rom i 4. etasje ut mot stille bakgård. Ikke det største rommet, men mer enn stort nok for et par som vil oppleve Amsterdam noen dager. Small og bratt trapp - men det er heis! Meget imøtekommende og hyggelig betjening. Kort avstand til Leidselplatz med handlegater, restauranter […] og severdigheter. Dessuten gåavstand til museer og Red Light District, men bruk gjerne godt utbygget trikkenett. Lesa meira

vennlig betjening, hyggelige om enn noe små rom med grei standard, sentralt. Vi kommer gjerne tilbake!
"Hotel D`Amsterdam, bra beligenhet"
Bra beligenhetenhet, billig og bra service. Rommene er litt små, men funket bra for to personer. Eneste minus er at det var fryktelig små senger, og veldig korte.
"Lav standard syd for byen"
Standarden var lav i forhold til forventningerne, ud fra de bedømmelser der var på Hotels.com. Ligger syd for centrum, og fordi Amsterdam er så lille, var det muligt at gå rundt. Alt i alt en seng og et bad, men næste gang skal vi have et mere centralt sted at bo.

"hotel d´amsterdam: perfecto"
Buscamos muchos hoteles antes de decidirnos por este, y sin duda pensamos que era el mejor, pero al llegar allí, no sólo se cumplieron todas las expectativas, sino que las superaron con creces. El hotel está muy limpio, es pequeño, pero cómodo. Los recepcionistas, muy amables nos ayudaron en todo. La situación es muy buena, enfrente tienes autobuses […] (el del aeropuerto, 197 te deja en la puerta) y tranvías. Se lo recomiendo a todos los que no tengan mucho presupuesto. Lesa meira
Très bon hotel avec des gens adorables a votre écoute a la réception . Le petit déjeuner est copieux et nous vous recommandons aussi le restaurant italien juste en face de l'hotel.

Chambres minuscules (8m²) et aux coloris sombres mais bonne literie et salle de douche impeccable. Notre chambre, au dernier étage et vers l'arrière était calme et lumineuse. Bonne situation car on peut visiter tout Amsterdam à pied. Bon rapport qualité prix mais cet hôtel est en fait un 2 étoiles supérieur: c'est la présence d'un ascenseur qui lui […] a permis de se situer en catégorie 3 étoiles. "Rolig område, små med rene rom"
Greit lite hotell som ligger rett på utesiden av Leidesplein, bare noen minutter å gå til alle butikker og områder... Rolig omgivelser rundt og på hotellet. Førsteinntrykket var ikke all verden, da vi kom midt i oppussing av rommene, men heldigvis viste dette seg å ta slutt samme dag som vi kom. Nyoppussede rom, rent og pent. Små rom, men absolutt […] tilfredstillende for 3 stjerner og for pris. Noe lytt i gangen, mellom dørene til hotellet, men med bare 2-3 rom i hver trappoppgang var ikke dette noe problem. Gode senger. Есть все что нужно (душ, бесплатный интернет, фен, чайник, телевизор) и все достопримечательности в шаговой доступности. Сервиса правда нет (кроме завтрака), т.е ночью позвонить на ресепшн не получится. Там в это время просто никого нет. Ну и не всем это надо.

D'Amsterdam is een eenvoudig net hotel. Onze kamer was prima van grootte en erg netjes. Dichtbij het Leidse Plein, Vondel Park en Museum Kwartier.

"Lækker lejlighed hvis man rejser flere..."
Vi rejste 4 tøser og blev positivt overraskede over vores værelse, som var en lejlighed med køkken og 2 dobbeltsenge. Rigtig skøn beliggenhed nær Leidseplein og søde receptionister. Man skal dog først betale når man tjekker ind, samt medbringe kontanter til at betale hotel-skatter.
Proche des stations de tram donc centre ville facilement accessible. Un accueil très agréable, le réceptionniste nous a demandé si on connaissait la ville et nous a indiqué les bons endroits à visiter et où ils se situaient par rapport à l'hôtel (le tout sur un plan de la ville qu'il nous a remis).
