We (2 adults + 1 child) stayed here 3 days before our cruise from Rome (Civitavecchia) and 1 day after. Very pleased with the hotel and would come again. Staff pleasant and helpful. Rooms and bathrooms clean, tidy and spacious, high ceiling and interior oozes old classy charm. Free quite fast wi-fi internet for hotel guests. Good central location, close to Terminal station, 15-20 min walk to most of the famous sights. Breakfast buffet quite good and the coffee machine, although automatic, makes an almost perfect cappuchino... for us a BIG PLUS. Some nice restaurants in the vicinity like the Gallo Matto, 5 minutes walk down on Cavour. Just a little minus: Bed mattresses a bit hard for my taste, but slept well anyway.

Pros: - Great location (Colosseum, super market and good restaurants) - Friendly and very helpful staff. - Clean rooms - Computer with internet access in each room. Cons: The only cons that I can think of are: - Very little floor space to store luggage (Minor problem) - Breakfast was only a croissant and a water/cafe at a bakery near by. Would be great if there were some fruits as well. But this hotel is perfect for a couple that are looking for a relatively cheap hotel in a great location! I would recommend this hotel to any couple and if I go back to Rome I would use this hotel again.

Location was pretty good near the city center, about 10 min. bus ride. Staff was very helpful and kind. The room was very nice but the air conditioning was poor. Free internet connection, but it did not work in the room though.

"A charming but old hotel."
This hotel had good service, but our room (wich we ordered because it had a bathroom of its own) was quite small and old-fashion. The bathroom was practical because you could, if you wanted, sit om the toilet while you were showering. In other words; it was too small. But the hotel was central, and and ok plage to stay if you're only interested in using […] your room for sleeping. Lesa meira
"Staff could not have been more helpful"
Bed spread was dirty, toilet was running water all night. The staff, low price , and location (walking distance from train station and metro) were the only good things about the hotel.

Hôtel très propre et avec un bon rapport qualité/prix. En revanche l'isolation sonore était très mauvaise et le personnel faisait énormément de bruit dès 6h du matin, sans aucune attention pour les clients... Autre point négatif : la personne à la réception a voulu me faire ressortir à 1h du matin, alors que je venais de rentrer, pour aller retirer […] de l'argent et payer car "personne ne serait à la réception le lendemain matin", jour de mon check-out ! Un comble ! Je n'avais bien évidemment pas été prévenu avant de ce détail. J'ai du hausser le ton pour obtenir le droit de payer le lendemain matin. Enfin, la page de l'hôtel sur hotels.com précise que les cartes bancaires sont acceptées. C'est faux : seul l'American Express est tolérée (ni MasterCard, ni Visa), à défaut de quoi vous devrez payer en liquide. En soit ce n'est pas très gênant, sauf quand on vous demande d'aller retirer de l'argent à 1h du matin... Plutôt satisfait par l'hôtel compte tenu du prix payé, mais la relation clients laisse à désirer. Lesa meira
