We (2 adults + 1 child) stayed here 3 days before our cruise from Rome (Civitavecchia) and 1 day after. Very pleased with the hotel and would come again. Staff pleasant and helpful. Rooms and bathrooms clean, tidy and spacious, high ceiling and interior oozes old classy charm. Free quite fast wi-fi internet for hotel guests. Good central location, close to Terminal station, 15-20 min walk to most of the famous sights. Breakfast buffet quite good and the coffee machine, although automatic, makes an almost perfect cappuchino... for us a BIG PLUS. Some nice restaurants in the vicinity like the Gallo Matto, 5 minutes walk down on Cavour. Just a little minus: Bed mattresses a bit hard for my taste, but slept well anyway.

Pros: - Great location (Colosseum, super market and good restaurants) - Friendly and very helpful staff. - Clean rooms - Computer with internet access in each room. Cons: The only cons that I can think of are: - Very little floor space to store luggage (Minor problem) - Breakfast was only a croissant and a water/cafe at a bakery near by. Would be great if there were some fruits as well. But this hotel is perfect for a couple that are looking for a relatively cheap hotel in a great location! I would recommend this hotel to any couple and if I go back to Rome I would use this hotel again.

Location was pretty good near the city center, about 10 min. bus ride. Staff was very helpful and kind. The room was very nice but the air conditioning was poor. Free internet connection, but it did not work in the room though.

"Excellent Location"
The location was excellent! But the TV and hair dryer were not working. Room size is quite big. don't expect too much for the breakfast, but the coffee was good.

The room would have been nice enough, but we needed a room for 5. They just added extra beds to the room so there wasn't even enough room to walk around the beds. If wehad needed a room for fewer people it would have been fine. The continental breakfast was OK. Not great, but OK. The location was not bad. If you need to be by the termini it is perfect. "Really good location and comfortable room"
Really good location. Immediately outside termini(main) station. This is especially good as Rome's public transportation is not well connected and can be confusing. Very friendly and helpful staff. Stayed in halifax. Its on thrid floor. No lift. Although from outside the building looks sleazy, room was small, but comfortable and had clean bathrooms. this is second time I have stayed here. accommodation is pretty basic but quite cheap and clean. Across the road from the Termini railway station and metro,it is handy to everything. The airport express train goes directly to this station. Close to restaurants and shops. Is even air conditioned. one receptioon for 2 hotels the Mirage seems a better quality than the Halifax The hotels is central to the Roma Termini Railway Station (main rail & Metro to Roma is good for travel anywere in Rome. Good for a short stay is hard to get into & out of rooms.
only advantage of this hotel is it's nearness to the main railway station. Otherwise I am notat all satisfied with the hotel. Reception,hotel room and breakfast ..all in a separate adjecent buildings.Lift is very small ,very old and stopped working after 10pm.When we entered the hotel room,flush was not working and toilette seat was broken.Breakfast […] was below average in a tiny room. Very good location to metro-Termini. Room was very small and plain. Mattress not comfortable. Okay for one night stay. 2nd shift desk clerk was very rude and not friendly at all. No telephone for even local calls..

Pieni 15 huoneen hotelli keskellä Roomaa, rautatieasema, bussiasema ja metro ihan vieressä. Henkilökunta ystävällistä, kohteliasta, ammattitaitoista. Rakennus vanha kerrostalo jossa neljäs kerros hotellihuoneita. Hinta/laatu/sijainti kaikki ok. Voin suositella
Hôtel très bien situé, à deux minutes de la gare Termini. Très bon accueil, le personnel parle très bien anglais et certain français. La chambre est correct et propre. Suffisant pour un we, mais pas pour un séjour plus long. Ne pas s'arrêté à la cage d'escalier qui paraît un peu lugubre, l'hôtel n'a rien à voir. Seul bémol, l'hôtel est bruyant car mal […] insonorisé. Qui plus est notre chambre était situé juste à côté du lieu du petit déjeuner donc à 7h30, tous le monde debout. Lesa meira

"Das Hotel Mirage liegt direkt am HBF."
Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist sehr gut. Für so wenig Geld kann man keinen Luxus erwarten. Das Frühstück sollte man sich allerdings sparen. Vom Hotel aus kann man sehr gut mit öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln oder auch zu Fuß alle wichtigen Sehenswürdigkeiten erreichen.

Qualité décorative moyenne car ancienne. Acceptable pour un quartier de Gare. Maleheureusement, pas de coffre dans la chambre, ce qui oblige à se promener en ville avec tous ses papiers et argent. D'où le risque augmenté d'être victime d'un pique-pocket dans la journée, ce qui fut mon cas.

hotel situé juste en face de la gare pr prendre le bus ou le metro et aussi pr se rendre à l aeroport! il y a bcp de restaurants ou cafés ds la rue de l hotel c est tres sympa!
