We (2 adults + 1 child) stayed here 3 days before our cruise from Rome (Civitavecchia) and 1 day after. Very pleased with the hotel and would come again. Staff pleasant and helpful. Rooms and bathrooms clean, tidy and spacious, high ceiling and interior oozes old classy charm. Free quite fast wi-fi internet for hotel guests. Good central location, close to Terminal station, 15-20 min walk to most of the famous sights. Breakfast buffet quite good and the coffee machine, although automatic, makes an almost perfect cappuchino... for us a BIG PLUS. Some nice restaurants in the vicinity like the Gallo Matto, 5 minutes walk down on Cavour. Just a little minus: Bed mattresses a bit hard for my taste, but slept well anyway.

Pros: - Great location (Colosseum, super market and good restaurants) - Friendly and very helpful staff. - Clean rooms - Computer with internet access in each room. Cons: The only cons that I can think of are: - Very little floor space to store luggage (Minor problem) - Breakfast was only a croissant and a water/cafe at a bakery near by. Would be great if there were some fruits as well. But this hotel is perfect for a couple that are looking for a relatively cheap hotel in a great location! I would recommend this hotel to any couple and if I go back to Rome I would use this hotel again.

Location was pretty good near the city center, about 10 min. bus ride. Staff was very helpful and kind. The room was very nice but the air conditioning was poor. Free internet connection, but it did not work in the room though.

We were made to feel very welcome and the staff were helpful and allowed us the use of the room on the last day as it was not needed that night. A table and a couple of chairs would have been helpful to eat our breakfast at but that might have been because we had a triple room as that was all that was available and there was not enough space with the […] third bed. "Very pleasent stay"
I really had a very pleasent stay. The room was very clean, silent, well decorated, spacious and the bed was very good. The owner is a very nice and helpful women. The downside is that it is not very close to the main attractions of Rome. However, it is 50mt from a metro station and a little bit more from the bus station. "Just Fine"
The B&B is fine for the budget minded traveler who doesnt mind a good walk. The room and bathroom are both nice and clean. The B&B is a brisk 10-15 min. walk from the Colosseum and about 20-30 min. from Rome's historic downtown area. There is a metro stop just outside which is very convenient to Vatican City, the train station and to the upper end of […] Rome's historic center. Very clean Bed & Breakfast! A week before arrival we got an e-mail from the owner (Johnny) and he gave us information how to get there from the airport. We choose to get there by taxi and Johnny arranged that there was a taxi waiting for us at the airport. Fixed price. When we arrived at ten o'clock in the morning Wilma was there to make us at home […] and we could get in to the room right away. She showed us the best things from Rome on a map and we took that with us all days. Clean towels every day. Breakfast in your own room, simple but good (make your own toast and tea or coffee). Very good bed (XL) and everything very clean. Only 50 mtrs from the Metro, 10 minutes walk from the Colloseum. We would reccomend this B&B to all our friends and if we ever go back to Rome will stay there again. Lesa meira
"In Rome- perfect for site seeing"
We rented two rooms at In Rome for two nights and really enjoyed our stay. The location was excellent with the Colloseum just a five minute walk away. We came by public transport and metro station is just outside the door. The breakfast was a range of sweet breads provided in room and great expresso coffee and perfect for our needs. Absolutely loved In Rome B&B. Hidden in an apartment complex in Viale de Manzoni, you couldn't but feel safe. Breakfast is a DIY affair, but that suited us perfectly, the room is equipped with a kettle a toaster and a little fridge full of breads, and always topped up each day. The room was very comfortable and had an adjoining spotless en-suite. We […] were given fresh towels every day and the rooms were always aired but never cold. Chara, the lady in charge gave us great advice and restaurant recommendations as well as an easy to read map of the city! Perfect location, just 10 minutes walk from the colluseum! Lesa meira

Very impressed with our stay at 'In Rome', very reasonable price, room and ensuite were always clean (cleaned every day), great location next to metro stop and down the road from the colloseum. Breakfast was simple but always enough to keep you goin til lunch. Would recommend for people travelling to Rome on a budget.

Meget venlig og imødekommende velkomst af Johnny, der tog sig god tid til at fortælle om nærliggende restauranter, transport muligheder m.m. Vores specifikke spørgsmål om fodboldbilletter forsøgte han også at besvare og sendte samme aften sms med yderligere information. Dejligt med køleskab og kogeplader på værelset, så vi selv kunne klare morgenmaden […] og supplere med det vi fandt nødvendigt. Virkelig fin rengøring dagligt. "Hyggelig lille "lejlighed" lige ved metro"
Dette B&B ligger i et lejlighedskompleks og har 4 værelser i lejligheden. Beliggenheden er rigtig god. Lige ud fra Metro Manzoni og lige ved bus 3 som kører dig til den romerske del af byen. Coloseum ligger også i gåafstand. Den italienske kvinde som dagligt står for dette B&B er super flink og hjælpsom men kan ikke engelsk. Hun kan dog ringe egeren […] op som kan engelsk. Grunden til at vi ikke giver mere end 3 i samlet vurdering er fordi vores værelse nr. 3 stank af kloak hele tiden. Hvis dette havde været i orden var karakteren nok blevet 4. "Morgenmaden" er færdigpak som ligger i skab og køleskab så ikke noget at skrive hjem om. Men fint lille hyggeligt sted som ligger rigtig godt og er et godt valg til prisen. Lesa meira
"Tæt på Metroen og tæt på Coluseum"
Vi havde et dejligt ophold. Det var et stille hotel, med et dejlligt værelse. Når vi kom trætte hjem fra seightseeing kunne vi straks lave os en kop kaffe og lægge os og slappe af og læse. Om morgnen var der en kurv med forskelligt brød, så vi kunne starte dagen på fuld mave.Værtinden var sød og hjælpsom, og hvis vi ikke kunne forstå hinanden ringede […] hun til Johnny, en engelsk talende herre. "Fast im Zentrum Roms"
Personal sehr zuvorkommend, hilfsbereit und freundlich. Absolut ruhige Lage und doch mitten in Rom gelegen. Die Zimmer sind sehr gemütlich und sauber, ebenso das Bad. Das Frühstück kann man sich auf dem Zimmer selbst zubereiten, für frische Milch, Gebäck, Toast und allem was dazugehört wird täglich aufs Neue gesorgt, und in dem kleinen Eisschrank befinden […] sich auch Mineralwasser und Fruchtsaft. Toaster und Wasserkocher stehen ebenfalls zur Verfügung. Wir haben nur bedauert, dass es trotz der vielen Satelittensender im TV keinen einzigen deutschen Kanal gab. Tram-, Metro- und Busstationen befinden sich direkt vor dem Haus und bis zum Kolosseum sind es genau 2 Stationen - zu Fuss an die 10 Minuten Gehzeit. Mr. Johnny spricht perfekt Englisch und steht mi Rat und Tat zur Seite, organisiert Flughafentransfer und wir haben nur gute Erfahrungen gemacht und positive Erinnerungen behalten. Sehr zu empfehlen! "Qualité/prix exceptionnel"
Nous sommes partis fin février. L'hôtel est à 30secondes de la bouche de métro ce qui est très pratique pour l'arrivée et le départ de l'hôtel ainsi que pour sortir le soir. La dame nous a accueillis avec sourie le jour de notre venue et nous a donné une carte en expliquant et marquant quels lieux de la ville étaient incontournables. Chambre impeccable […] , salle de bain pareil, personnel agréable, la situation de l'hôtel est très bien, de plus notre chambre donnait sur une petite cour intérieure ce qui était fort agréable au levé. Le personnel est absent la soirée et la nuit mais vous aurez le numéro de téléphone du propriétaire en cas de problème et sinon il y toujours les voisins qui peuvent aider ;) En bref aucun point noir sur cet hôtel plutôt le contraire ! "Lille billigt hotel."
Flinke og rare mennesker. I gå afstand til colosseum ca. 10-15 min. Fine små værelser. Morgenmaden var en smule kedelig. Den stod man selv for på sit værelse. Der var lidt larm fra vandrørerne på vores værelse, når andre tændte for vandet. Men jeg ved ikke, om det var generelt eller kun for vores værelse. Alt i alt et godt sted til prisen.

Bed & Breakfast muito bem localizado, silecioso, atendimento muito bom. À noite a área é meio deserta.
Il faut savoir que ce n'est pas un hôtel au sens propre du terme, il n'y a pas de service d'accueil en permence et le petit dej se prend dans la chambre ( d'ailleurs la table est petite pour manger à 2 hihi) il aurait été cool de le savoir à l'avance! Sinon, niveau situation, il est un peu excentré, il faut prendre les transports pour visiter.

Very nice B&B in Rome, on walking distance to the Colosseum. Entrance to the subway on 50m. The rooms are clean and have their own bathroom. A kitchenette is present, so meals can be cooked if wanted. Personell is friendly and helpfull. I can recommend this B&B to everybody.
