Overall, I was pleased with the Hotel and what it had to offer. It was very clean, the staff at the front desk were very nice, the beds were very comfortable and it was convenient to have breakfast right at the hotel. A couple of noteworthy points though. If you are going on a weekend, be prepared for kids...lots of kids! The 1 night we stayed there(Saturday), […] my 2 kids were unable to swim as there was an outside birthday party happening at the same time and the hot tub was not so hot, it was more lukewarm. I have stayed at this Hotel very friendly clean staff are very helpful and despite being full never seems busy love making my own waffles for breakfast will always try and stay at this location first

We loved our stay at the Hampton Dartmouth, we have two young boys and they thoroughly enjoyed the pool and waterslide. The beds were comfy, the room was clean, and breakfast was great. It will be our choice from now on when we are in the area!

The one thing on the negative side is that they would not allow a cot for the room we stayed in (two queens) for our four year old but Dennis working the front desk (with a broken arm) did everything he could to get us some extra linens to make due. He did a good job of making us feel like someone cared. cheers

for business this is a good hotel, obviously popular with families so it can get noisy sometimes, but very quiet at night

Our stay was awesome. My only concern was that we booked 2 queen size beds through Expedia.ca but the beds were not queen size - I think they were doubles. Not sure why we were offered queen size beds when that wasnt an option. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Overall we had a good experience at this hotel. The staff were friendly, helpful and knowledgable. The foyer was expansive, yet welcoming; the pool was clean and warm; the breakfast area was huge which easily accomadated all the people particpating in the excellent complimentry breakfast. Our room was clean , but the TV was not working nor was the main […] bathroom light. Three times we ask the TV to be repaired and each time it was temporarily fixed - until the next time we tried to use it. - very annoying and we were not offered any consessions for this annoyance. Our room was well appointed, but we would like to have had a fridge. The wifi didn't work in our room with either the ipad or iphone. The desk clerk got it working in the lobby, but it would not work in the room. We liked the speed and frequency of the elevators. The location was very convenient, good parking and clean.

Staff. Hotel. Location. All Superb! Very Clean. Excellent Breakfast. I guess if I could find one fault, I strongly believe every room should have a small fridge. I will return! Have stayed here many times :)

This was one of the nicest, cleanest hotels we have had the pleasure of staying at. What made our stay all the more enjoyable was the detail paid to the little things. Went to the hotel not expecting much, but the location was great and the staff is great. IF there was something to complain about, and this is just nit picking, would be the breakfast. its a simple breakfast .. nothig bad ... but nothing special. But enough to get your day going. Not much else, Comfy bed, nice staff, clean rooms.

Service was great from the time I booked on Hotels.ca. We had specifically asked for a highest floor possible room, away from the highway. I find typically, hotels will ignore requests and even give substandard service to customers who book on discount sites. We got a top floor room and away from the highway! Amazing. We got upgraded to a suite for free! It was so clean, and the room was massive. The free breakfast is also great to be able to wake up to and go downstairs and get.

We booked our room here last minute, and had to pay a little more than we usually pay at another hotel in the city, because that one was full. The extra cost was definitely worth it though. The room was great, breakfast was excellent, and the kids couldn't get enough of the water slide.

Awesome spot. Excellent Breakfast - couldn't be better. Will def stay again. I will go out of my way to book here rather than other spots The kids LOVED the waterslide - very safe for smaller kids - doesn't go directly into pool. The kids had a blast!

Nice clean room, very comfortable bed, but not so quiet. Kids running and yelling in the halls well past 11pm and the screeching in the pool was just ridiculous!! We would definitely stay there again though, despite the noise.

A nice new hotel a bit out of town; sorry Dartmouth but you are not "in town"... the family room was great with lots of space although the sofa bed was a little uncomfortable for my son. Pool was important for us; it was fine but busy on a Friday night. Possibly not big enough for the size of hotel. Free breakfast was...free...which is the best I can […] say about it however. We enjoyed it. The hottub was not working properly,and the bathroom drainage pipe was leaking. All in all ,our stay was comfortable. The staff were very friendly. The breakfast buffet was wonderful. We will return!

What I look for in a hotel first is that it is clean, next would be pleasant staff to deal with and this hotel had it in spades. The beds were very comfortable and the complimentary breakfast was a pleasant bonus. The location was also great for shopping!

Ive stayed at this hotel a few times and I've never been disappointed. I love the location. It is centered in a major shopping area. There are some good restaurants and a movie theatre also close by. The kids love the pool and waterside. The free , hot buffet breakfast is the best I have seen in a hotel that offers free breakfasts with your stay.

The kids loved the pool and we all really enjoyed the Breakfast.Very close to all our favorate stores and Resturants.Close to the Airport and downtown.Theatre is right there also.Great location for sure.We will use this Hotel again.( really like the fact that it was very clean and changes ALL the bedding, not just the sheets)

Friendly staff who were very helpful with information about the city. Softest hotel beds and pillows ever slept on. Loved the buffet breakfast.
