We stayed at Tala Salay during two nights in mid-May. Upon arrival the staff greeted us with cooling drinks and wet towels - which we thought was a very welcoming gesture. Throughout the entire stay every single member of the staff was thoroughly dedicated and provided excellent service. We were upgraded to a pool access room which we were at first cautious about - as everyone on the pool bank could see directly into our room this proved to be less of an issue as the hotel had only guests staying is such rooms. However during the high season with the pool area packed this could be a privacy issue for some people. The rooms themselves are well equipped, the style is minimalistic (we found the style to be scandinavian) and may not suit everyone. The pool area is excellent, long and deep enough to swim in it, and the guys at the pool bar serve excellent drinks during the daytime. The breakfast is served on second floor, in an open space above the lobby, and was of high quality and vast selection of items. However there is one issue we did encounter at the hotel restaurant when we had dinner. The portions of food the present are miniscule - even a frenchman would stare in disbelief at the plate. We ordered ravioli and gorganzola steak (it is an Italian themed restaurant). The steak was no more than two small mouthful pieces (50gr max) and the ravioli dish contained five small pieces of ravioli -the size of a small appertizer rather than a main course. The food was however cooked to perfection and delicious. Our second night, needless to say, we choose to walk to Ao Nang beach (10m walk) and had our dinner elsewhere.. Overall we highly recommend this hotel for the overall ambiance and service.

We had 6 great days at The Cliff Ao Nang Resort in early 2012. The Cliff Ao Nang Resort is positioned as a beautiful and quiet oasis in the heart of Ao Nang and the hotel is built close to nature and you can enjoy the magnificent views - the mighty cliffs - while the service from every staff member is on the absolute top level. Everything was nice, […] clean and well maintained and the service was very good and unique. We chose to eat at the restaurant at The Cliff Ao Nang Resort every evening during the entire stay and here secured A and Lai an excellent service and the chef delivered the largest positive culinary experience we had in Thailand, and this at a price which was very competitive with the best restaurants in Ao Nang. Hi all, I can highly recommend this place in Ao Nang, it is like an oasis in an otherwise touristy and not very beautiful town. The location is good enough to quickly get down to the beach for taking a boat to any of the surrounding islands. We had a great time there. Adam and Silvia
"Very Quaint and Unique Place To Stay!"
The hotel is very quaint and unique. A bungalow type room with a secluded outdoor shower. The beds are hard, but not uncommon for most hotels in Thailand. They have a great complimentary breakfast and the overall service of the staff is fabulous. We would definitely stay there again!
"Boutique Hotel de ambiente inmejorable"
Boutique Hotel ubicado en Ao Nang a unos 15 minutos a pie de la zona de playa y el embarcadero. La atmósfera interior es inmejorable, el ambiente es tranquilo y relajado. Se puede disfrutar de una pequeña piscina con servicio de bar y con unas vistas espectaculares a uno de los "Cliff" de la zona. Para acceder a alguno de sus Bungalows hay que recorrer […] un pequeño sendero de piedras. Los Bungalows son pareados, el espacio justo pero acogedor. Tienen aire acondicionado y una mosquitera sobre la cama. La peculiaridad es el baño en el exterior. El servicio es super atento, resuelven cualquier duda o necesidad del cliente: organizar excursiones, servicio al aeropuerto, o un taxi, siempre con una sonrisa. Lesa meira

Det är en bit att gå till alla aktiviteter som strand mertalet av resturanger m.m. Dock är det ett litet hotell och man behöver inte trängas vid polen ... dvs man behöver inte boka solstol kl. 6 på morgonen. Personalen är jätte trevlig servicen på topp. Men toaletterna är utomhus visserligen utan insyn med tak men att gå på toaletten mer än 5 sekunder […] på natten utan att dränka sig i mygg sprej och toalett pappret rekomenderas att ta med in i rummet då det är extremt fuktigt av luft fuktigheten.
