Frábært hótel í alla staði. Mjög kurteist og hjálpsamt starfsfólk, mjög hreint og snyrtilegt. Skipt um handklæði á hverjum degi.

Going to Bangkok as two semi-budget travelers, we didn't consider this as cheap, but as many hostels were of the same price range, we decided to take the hotel, mostly for the chance of a good bed, more security and proximity to Khao San Road. Apart from the WiFi being a bit shaky (but to same level as many other hotels in South East Asia) and dirty slippers in the bathroom, everything was pretty much sufficient to our standards. The bed was comfortable enough, the hotel staff was friendly and more than ready to help with anything, a convenience store was in the same street and also an Internet Cafe. No problem finding it coming from Khao San Road, going up the street from KSR (western end), the hotel being placed on the opposite bank of the next canal - merely a five minute walk. Only downside was, being a backpacker, we missed staying with all the other backpackers on Khao San Road, but returned anyway for a second stay a week later, equally as enjoyable.

Nice staff - skytrain is just 3 mins away, so the location is solid. Breakfast was just fine. Good price. So, I'm pretty happy after that one night stay.

"Hotel is not as good as described or reviewed"
It was my first ever booking with Hotels.com but was sorely disappointed with quality of hotel. Bedsheet looked worned out and with old stains, shower area is cramped, lighting is poor and tiles looked yellowish. I called the reception and asked if the room is Deluxe, he said yes. I asked if I could upgrade to a Superior room, hoping things will be […] better. The staff asked me to meet him at the reception as I have asked to view a Superior room. At the reception, an unhappy looking female staff tried to tell me that my room was already a Superior room - nice try. When I was brought to another room, it was clearly much better, TV, shower, etc. However, I found a small bug crawling on the bed and decided to change to another hotel. "Regent Suvarnabhumi - well located and connected"
I landed in Bangkok on March 31st and had pre-booked the Regent. The airport transfer took around 10 mins (there was a 20 minute wait for the cab). The hotel is located in a good area, around several other hotels. Connectivity with downtown is also easy thanks to it close proximity to the Latkrabang sky train station. The hotel was well maintained […] and checked me in without any hassle. The room was clean and was as described online. A decent place to stay if you need to get to the airport quickly. Bare necessities, but good for travelers.
I would recommend this hotel for people who also have a very brief need for a hotel and appreciate the proximity to the airport. The pick-up and drop-off at the airport was very convenient but the people at the front desk could have been friendlier. The room was nice but the sink in the bathroom didn't drain.

We picked this hotel because we need to sleep somewhere before traveling again in the morning. For that purpose, it was good enough hotel. The staff carried our luggage to the room so that was nice. Food was ridiculously expensive for Thailand and that level of hotel.

"Great Value"
The Regent hotel might be rated as a 3 star hotel, but offers great value. Location is close to airport (8 min.), shuttle was perfect, and free. Room was large, clean, and quiet.

Did lots of research to find the right hotel that was close, clean, excellent value & had free early am airport shuttle and would definitely choose Regent again! "it meets my requirement"
I booked this hotel because it is close to the Airport. The staffs are friendly and helpful. I rate the hotel facilities as basic, and value for the money. It serves my need as I am only staying over for one night and to catch an earlier filight in the next morning. And shuttle bus service is available.

We needed to be at the airport at 4 am. The hotel runs a shuttle every hour on the half hour. We were there in 8 minutes. The hotel offers functional rooms with a little kitchen to make snacks and tea. A shopping center with Mc Donalds and a coffee chain is a 5 minute walk. The hotel has a restaurant that fed the 4 of us 5 Thai dishes..

"A bit pricey for a BKK Airport overnight"
I have stayed elsewhere, just as close to the BKK airport for about half the price, and thus I was not impressed with the Regent. Nothing wrong with the hotel and/or staff, just that there are cheaper options available.

We got stuck in bangkok due to a full flight so I just randomly booked this online. It turned out to be a really nice little hotel to spend a few nights. It was a very good hotel for being close to the airport. Very clean and comfortable, but not much to do in the area. there is a plaza shopping mall but its small. its a good hotel to stay at if you need to stay near the airport.

Cheap and nice hotel. Pick-up service - perfekt. Quick and easy check-in/check-out. The waterpressure however, as many has mentioned, is not good enough for a proper hairwash. I came in late and left early. Had a shower but could not wash my hair. If you need a place to crash during two flights, this place is ideal.

Hotel staff were very friendly, room was comfortable however bed was quite sweaty as mattress had a plastic covering. Location excellent for brief stay close to airport however surrounding area has not much to offer. Hotel can call taxi to bring you to city centre and also provides free shuttle to airport.
"Regent Suvarnabhumi Hotel - Great for Airport"
2 of us stayed here for 1 night in June 2011. It was a great location for the airport and a shuttle bus took us to the airport for our early morning flight. However, it was a little far out from the centre but I guess you can't get both. Unfortunately the area is not well known to taxi drivers and so coming back from Bangkok took quite a while to find […] it. The room was really big and in good condition. There was a kitchen and good sized bathroom and the condition was good. I would recommend to those wanting a bed for a night stopping at Bangkok but I wouldn't recommend if you want to spend time in Bangkok or for anything more than 1 night. Lesa meira

2 bottles of water are complimentary, which is nice. The rooms were impeccably clean. I stayed 2 nights and would stay here again. No alarm clocks in the room, but you can schedule a wake up call for your early morning flight.

Very nice, clean, comfortable, large room with wonderful staff. Stayed there before early morning flight. Only problem was cab driver had a problem finding it.

The Regent Suvarnabhumi Hotel was perfect for what we needed: a cheap hotel close to the airport for a layover between flights. Not close to downtown, I wouldn't recommend staying there if you are visiting Bangkok, but the proximity to the airport and the free shuttle made it very easy for us to get a few hours sleep between arriving on a domestic flight […] from Krabi and an early morning international flight. The hotel room was nice, almost a studio-style apartment. The hotel was fairly clean and fresh. I was disappointed in the location to other things (other than the airport), the staff was not very welcoming or accommodating, and the hotel just had a cold atmosphere.

Not sure if the horrific staff or the smelly, unclean, mildewed bathroom with random water temperature and pressure are the worst of it. Certainly, no better than a 2 star. PLEASE stay elsewhere. You absolutely get what you pay for. This is a dump. Easily the worst hotel we stayed at travelling around the world.

I booked the Regent Suvarnabhumi Hotel online late on as it was cheap and convenient for the airport. All I wanted was somewhere within a short distance to the airport, clean , and hopefully quiet, which it was. For the price I paid, you don't expect anything grand. Great place to stay for a night after long flight close to the airport. I all ways stay here on my first night. Very good comfortable rooms at a good price. Shuttle bus from airport for free. Would highly recommend to anyone especially if getting in late at night.

Pros: 1. Close to airport. 2. Friendly staff at the hotel. 3. Decent wireless Internet for being free. Cons: 1. The shuttle guy at the airport was distracted talking on the phone, and didn't notice us when we arrived. 2. Shower drain did not work correctly, toilet seat was loose. However, they do not tell you that the "free transfer" is only one way, i.e. airport to hotel, and you have to pay for the return trip.
