We (2 adults + 1 child) stayed here 3 days before our cruise from Rome (Civitavecchia) and 1 day after. Very pleased with the hotel and would come again. Staff pleasant and helpful. Rooms and bathrooms clean, tidy and spacious, high ceiling and interior oozes old classy charm. Free quite fast wi-fi internet for hotel guests. Good central location, close to Terminal station, 15-20 min walk to most of the famous sights. Breakfast buffet quite good and the coffee machine, although automatic, makes an almost perfect cappuchino... for us a BIG PLUS. Some nice restaurants in the vicinity like the Gallo Matto, 5 minutes walk down on Cavour. Just a little minus: Bed mattresses a bit hard for my taste, but slept well anyway.

Pros: - Great location (Colosseum, super market and good restaurants) - Friendly and very helpful staff. - Clean rooms - Computer with internet access in each room. Cons: The only cons that I can think of are: - Very little floor space to store luggage (Minor problem) - Breakfast was only a croissant and a water/cafe at a bakery near by. Would be great if there were some fruits as well. But this hotel is perfect for a couple that are looking for a relatively cheap hotel in a great location! I would recommend this hotel to any couple and if I go back to Rome I would use this hotel again.

Location was pretty good near the city center, about 10 min. bus ride. Staff was very helpful and kind. The room was very nice but the air conditioning was poor. Free internet connection, but it did not work in the room though.

"Close to Termini Station"
It was really convenient to be so close to termini station in order to ride the metro to various site in Rome but there was a good deal of noise because of this. Also the building that the hotel is located in is really sketchy (there was a homeless person sleeping in the stair well our first night there) and you have to go up four or five flights of […] stairs to get to the hotel itself. The lady that runs the hotel speaks almost no English but she is very kind. Overall convenient but I don't think I would stay there again. Lesa meira
"Cheap and great location"
Cheap hotel and the owners make you very welcome, like living in a family home. Good for the price but basic. Great location next to termini station, good if you are getting in and out of Rome and want something cheap and cheerful!
"You get what you pay for"
The location for us was convenient beside the train station and buses though the restaurants in the area are expensive and not so good. The room was basic but there was a/c. I only killed 1 cockroach in the shared bathroom. It felt awkward to contact the staff who were locked behind a heavy door and it felt like you couldn't contact them at odd hours, […] they were friendly enough though. Lesa meira

"Right in the middle of everything"
Hotel is old-fashioned and modest but everyhting works : nice old couple runs the place with nice attitude. Two bathrooms for four rooms works ok, we stayed for ten days and never had to wait free bathroom. Rooms open to the backyard so they are pretty quiet even the hotel is right beside Termini station, wtich is a good spot for getting anywhere fast. […] Internet works fine by wi-fi. Nothing luxury (rooms have only bead, writing-desk, cabin for clothes and water for washing hands and teeth). but all that You need if the hotel is mostly a place to sleep and get shower. Nice cafes on the street and lot of restaurants, specially very nice Japanese sushi-bouffet just 100 meters away. We had a good time and if get to Rome again, we try to get the same hotel :) Lesa meira
"Bon rapport qualité/prix"
Ce n'est qu'un hôtel 1 étoile mais la propreté des lieux compense le confort relatif. Par contre le service gagnerait à être amélioré : impossible de payer par carte bancaire (cash only...) et la gérante ne parle pas anglais. Cela étant, le faible prix et la situation de l'hôtel (à 50m du point de chute de la navette entre Ciampino et Rome, si vous […] volez avec RyanAir) font qu'il est incontournable en cas de budget serré. В целом от гостиницы остались хорошие впечатления.Уборка совершалась каждый день,в номере есть раковина,тихо,спокойно,никто не доставал. Минус этого отеля в супер старом душе,который к тому же соединен с туалетом. Ни о завтраке,ни о телевизоре можно было не мечтать. Очень хорошее расположение,до культурного центра даже пешком совсем недолго. Все станции […] под боком.Удобно,правда,много лиц сомнительной внешности. Данный отель порадует тех,кто не собирается проводить много времени в номере и имеет ограниченные ресурсы. Lesa meira
"Wonderful location, nice staff"
Hotel is situated in the old building very close to the Stazione Termini. The main drawback is a shared bathroom, but there is a sink in the room. The staff lady was just great - answered all my questions, helped me to order taxi - I spoke English, and she answered me in Italian, and we both understood each other well. Breakfast is not included, but […] the luggage can be left in the hotel till departure (which is really helpful). Lesa meira
