"Very clean hotel"
Great room setup. Super in room amenities... Refrigerator, micro, coffee. Smelled clean.
"A welcome retreat"
I've stayed at this hotel several times when I have come to Largo to take care of my elderly father who is in assisted living. The staff has always been friendly, with good suggestions about places to eat. Check in and check out are fast and friendly. The room is a nice size with a comfortable chair and nice size desk. WIFI is free and reasonably fast […] (I don't do online data streaming so I don't know if it is fast enough for that.) My only quibble is about the bed, it is harder than many. Still, I give a sigh of relief when I walk in the room door and lock it for the evening. Lesa meira
"great place to stay , close to beaches"
we found out that this hotel is only three years old , very clean , fresh , great breakfast , pool heated , staff friendly . Next year we coming back to same hotel for sure .
"Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Largo"
The free breakfast was better than most I've had, with a good selection to choose from. The bed pillows were very uncomfortable and when the air conditioning goes on, it sounds like an airplane taking off. It kept waking me up throughout the night. Everything else was satisfactory.
"Almost a perfect stay"
Very clean & comfortable room. The check out staff was lovely. The breakfast was a great bonus. My only complaint was regarding the check in process. We arrived at night, so there was only one person staffing the desk. She was on a call when I arrived. Though she acknowledged me, she spent several minutes assisting a manager of another hotel that overbooked […] instead of checking me in & having me be on my way. The call eventually got disconnected, she apologized for the inconvenience, and all seemed to be just fine. However, she took two additional calls (I believe both from the original caller) & spent several more minutes securing their rooms. At this point, there were people in line behind me, including an elderly woman. Again, she was apologetic, but I did feel that she should have assisted her customers first and other hotel's guests second. Lesa meira
"Nice area"
We were pleasantly surprised by the location of the hotel, it is a very nice area. The accomadations were great and the breakfast was good. We are diehard Philly fans and we were happy that the hotel's location in regard to closeness to Bright House Field was pretty good, within about 5 miles and an easy drive.

I stayed here on a two-day business trip, and the location was perfect for my itinerary. I would have appreciated a restaurant on site because my business meetings ran late, but I worked around that. Very clean and comfortable. No frills, but I wasn't looking for luxury - just a good night's sleep! "Great time, great staff"
I surprised my husband with a weekend getaway. We arrived at the hotel around 7pm, a little late because of traffic. As soon as we checked in the lady in the front desk was so nice and helpfull, she immediately asked if we knew the area or needed to know where things are. My husband an I told her we weren't from the area so she asked what were we trying […] to do in terms of clubs bars or an intimate dinner. We told her we wanted to maybe have some drinks but nothing to wild, she recommends 2 places where they had music and drinks but not to wild lol. ( Gators and Daquiri) we went to both that night and had a great time. We stayed for the weekend and it went smoothly, any questions we had (didn't matter what time) the staff was more the. Happy to answer or help with anything they could. We will be planning another getaway next month and we will be coming back to this hotel!!! Lesa meira

WE loved the hotel, the breakfast, the room, the hospitality. Very very nice hotel, clean, and with friendly service. Will stay again when in the area. Breakfast was awesome.
Stayed 3 nights at Largo Holiday inn express and loved it. Clean, quiet at night, extremely kind and helpful staff. Everything we needed close by the hotel. Will stay there again.

The hotel was very comfortable, the service was friendly and accomodating, and the complimentary breakfast was excellent. They had a full hot breakfast with plenty of choices.
"Disappointed"
This hotel is totally over rated and over priced, it was a big disappointment. The service we received was really bad. We felt very unwelcome during our visit. First morning we got a printed standard note informing our room was not going to be cleaned, because we have the ¨don't disturb¨ sign at 1 PM (we checked in at the hotel at 3 am the previous […] night). At check out, they had no flexibility what so ever (not even an extra half an hour). Checking out is at 11 AM, and we needed some little extra time to be able to take our children to a near by activity, which, because of this, we couldn't do. Standard small building, Big stains on lobby carpet entrance, dark room, hard beds, very unwelcome policy... If you want to have a nice time, please go somewhere else... Lesa meira
"Holiday Inn Express Largo - Clearwater Florida"
The Holiday Inn Express Hotel was very clean. The only complaint I had is that the mattress was too hard. I asked if there were softer mattresses in other rooms but was told all the rooms had the same firm mattresses. The shampoo and conditioner were not replaced when we used them, but were replaced after leaving a note.

"Before our cruise..."
Great value for the money we spent. Full, hot breakfast in the morning. Shuttle drivers (husband & wife team) to our cruise ship helpful and knowledgeable of the cruise ships and the surrounding Port Canaveral area. Would definitely stay here again and use the same services!!

"Thanksgiving Stay"
My husband and I booked a stay at this hotel primarily due to its location (close to family) and the variety on the menu for breakfast. The breakfast was excellent with a vast array of foods available from cold cereal to eggs and sausages. The hotel is located in a very safe neighborhood. "Great place to stay!"
The hotel staff was wonderful! I was amazed that the fitness center was included in our reservation at no extra cost. I have stayed in hundreds of hotels and none of them allow you to use the fitness center without an additional charge. Although we were not able to indulge due to prior engagements, breakfast was also included..... The room was clean […] and comfortable & there was plenty of parking with well lit parking lot. We will be staying at this hotel again for sure & would recommend it to anyone needing a place to stay in the area. Lesa meira
"Nice new hotel but..."
Overall, this is a nice property. It's new, has really nice amenities, and is clean and crisp. However, the comfort of my stay was limited my the miserable matresses this property chose to put in their hotel. The matresses are rock hard once you get past the first inch of softness. Its such a shame...they have terrific sheets and the effect is ruined […] by the matress. I'm a side sleeper and my shoulders have never hurt so much as on this bed. I SWEAR I have stayed in other Holiday Inn Expresses and had MUCH more comfortable beds to sleep on. If you have a choice...stick with sister brand Staybridge Suites for the best bed comfort. "WHAT A STAY!!!"
I just stayed for one night...but it was very comfortable and the pilows were awsome....you had a choice of firm or soft and they were on the pillow case of which one was which. The rooms were very clean...no beadspreads to worry about...they do it different. Breakfast was good and just all around gat place to stay.
"High Marks"
Staff were friendly & helpful. Bed and room were comfortable and well-appointed. The "low-flow" toilet resulted in a clog, but it was resolved quickly and cheerfully. Definitely will stay here again.

This hotel was super nice. It seems brand new. Its really beautifully decorated and everything was very clean. The staff were all very nice. I have absolutely no complaints.

Hotel appears to have been recently remodeled... Nice modern decor, clean, comfortable rooms/baths. Desk was too small, and no office type rolling chair on the downside. Overall, very good!

"Uncomfortable Beds!!"
If you love sleeping on the floor you'll love these beds. The hotel was clean, but pool was very small. The main issue we had was the beds. Very uncomfartable. Will not stay with Holiday Inn again.

We had a very nice stay in this hotel. Like all Holiday Inn Express hotels, the walls are not well insulated, but otherwise, it was a very nice stay in a brand new hotel. They offered more choices for breakfast than some and had a very well trained staff. We enjoyed it!
"Nice Hotel close to Clearwater Beach!"
It is a very nice, comfy little hotel that is close to the beach area, but far enough away to miss all the traffic flow that is included with the beach area. Very good customer service from the moment we got there. We needed directions when we were leaving and the manager and desk person both grabbed a map and pointed us on our way, plus they gave us […] the map to keep so we didn't get lost. "Holiday Inn Express Hotel and Suites, Largo"
This is a fairly new hotel, so the room was quite nice. POol and fitness room were good. The A/C is a room unit and a bit noisy. I would love to be able to control the direction of the vents. This hotel is next door to Largo Central Park, which surrounds the Cultural Arts Center. Lots of scultpure, nice landscaping and children's play area. Many restaurants […] nearby. Its about 15 minutes to the beaches, and for the price may be an attractive budget alternative to the beach hotels. Lesa meira
"Nice, clean and excellent breakfast."
Staff was friendly. Room was very clean. Noticied how hotel smells really clean when you walk in. We enjoyed our stay and the breakfast every morning was excellent; had a large variety of things and really yummy. Only downside was that the fridge in our room made a clicking-popping noise at night that kept us awake and the hotel apparently turns off […] the A/C in the hallways at night-hot as hell but we considered that pretty minor. My husband and I were skeptical because this was our fisrt trip to Clearwater area. But as soon as we walked in we loved it. The decor in the hotel lobby and breakfast area was very nice, not to mention the hotel lobby smelled nice. My husband loved the king size bed and comfortable sheets, he didnt want to get out of bed in mornings, the flat screen […] TV was great also. We loved the location, it was not far from the beaches, but yet not crowded area. Which great for our family since our 3yr old was with us. We enjoyed our stay at Holiday Inn Express in Largo/Clearwater. Rooms are clean, staff are pleasant and helpful and breakfasts were excellent. Soap, shampoo and conditioner were too small and were not replaced on our second day. However, would recommend staying at this hotel.
Room was fine, work out room was nice, breakfast was good. Had to order a roll-a-way, it was comfortable, but only fit by the door making it difficult to get around. Probably a fire hazard. Bring your own pillows... the "soft" pillows were firm and the "firm" pillows were firmer. Also found last guest brush under the bed. Overall it was a great price […] for what we got! Lesa meira

"Great stay, except:"
This hotel was a great place to stay, except for one thing; wireless is only available in the "public areas" on the first floor. I had three computers with me and none of them had an ethernet connection, so if I wanted access I had to get dressed and go downstairs. Other than that it was a great hotel to stay at.

The Holiday Inn Express on Seminole in Largo, FL. is a wonderful place to stay. Clean, comfortable rooms, cheerful & helpful staff. A quiet yet centrally located area next to Largo Central Park. I will definately stay there again.

It was a late moment idea to find a Hotel that day. I was home for the weekend from my job in Chicago my wife had to work till 5 that day. I went on Hotels.com for the first time and found a Holiday Inn. My job houses me in Holiday Inns across the country while I travel for them and WOW I find one near Clearwater. This hotel was emmaculate. The service was wonderful too! Nancy at the front desk was fabulous and very helpful. The entire hotel was very clean and well kept. Great location, near restaurants, beaches and Largo Central Park, which was a great find (thanks to Nancy)! The park is a must! Will absolutely stay here again!
