Most hotel rooms are the same train car these days -- one (sometimes 2) beds, a dresser, a TV, the bathroom on one end next to the door, the window on the other end. But here you get a separate entrance for the bathroom because just inside the door is a small, fully equipped kitchen including dishwasher. The room also has a small sofa. We brought our […] two dogs -- yes, those of you who are pooch avoidant will want to check out another hotel -- and we were all very comfortable especially since the hotel provides plastic dog waste bags and there's plenty of space for walking. When I saw the hotel, I was surprised by how ugly it was on the outside and how odd to see the swimming pool on the front of the hotel, right by the parking lot! Once inside, the decor was not the most attractive, but the hotel boasted friendly front desk staff, housekeepers, and a decent continental breakfast in the mornings. The room sported a large […] fridge/freezer, a dishwasher, kitchen sink, and a range, complete with dish detergent, silverware and plates. The hotel was also located right next to a large shopping center with a Martins grocery store, a Starbucks and several restaurants and stores.
