Traffic noise due to the window not fitting correctly. Small room was certainly small.

The carpet in the room was dirty! Also although they advertise wifi this wasn't useable in the annex. My only other complaint is the location which is out of town and very little in the neighbourhood. Worst of all the kettle in the room didn't work. I defineately won't be staying here again.

Although the decor was a little tired my room was very clean and tidy. Ensuite bathroom was adequate even though it only had a shower and toilet, the shower was electric so hot water was available all day. The single room was a little small but suited my needs. I stayed over new years eve so breakfast was limited to continental style which was tasty […] and welcomed after the celebration the night before. The town centre is however over a mile away. I would recommend this hotel for short stays, perhaps if I had one of the larger rooms then I would recommend stay longer. Lesa meira

The B and B was very good value for money staff were very helpful and breakfast was very good. It was further out of Shrewsbury than we realised but apart from that on the whole very satisfactory

A perfectly adequate BnB. Excellent breakfast. Located about 15 mins walk into town centre.

Rooms very nice, clean and comfortable, only critisism, too small, out of date TV. and shower drainage slightly blocked. Staff and owner very friendly, really good breakfast.. Alas, apart from the breakfast, everything was very poor. Run down furnishing and cannot possibly have been vetted by AA in recent times.

Both the owner and staff of this hotel were brilliant, nothing was too much trouble! My room was very clean, including the bathroon and shower cubicle, and comfortable. Despite the fact that the hotel is on a main road, after 8pm at night it is surprisingly quiet. The hotel is a very pleasant 5 minutes walk into Shrewsbury town, past the old Abbey […] and over the very pictueresque English Bridge, which made it very convenient for my needs. Tea/Coffee in room but ,sasdly no toiletries in bathroom apart from a slive of soap!! Breakfast was absolutely dreadful it was a reheated version of what was described as a "Full English" Will NOT visit this place again

Comfortable, clean and reasonably priced hotel on outskirts of town. Friendly and efficient management and staff served an excellent cooked breakfast. Good restaurants and pub meals available nearby (including one of the oldest pubs in England about quarter mile away). Recommended.

I stayed in room 5 which I paid extra for to get a double bed but it was very, very crampedand bedside light damaged and very old shabby armchair placed in front of the wardrobe. No where to move armchair to so could not use the wardrobe. TV was very old and would not work and had to have help to get it switched on and was told that this TV was one […] of the worst in the guest house. I looked over a bin storage area of the property next door which had not one but two large spotlights on its walls than where on all night and lit up the room as it only had flimsy curtains. Breakfast not as full English as in some other places, e.g no choice of items to be included offered; though other guests did ask for different items. Room smelt smoky although it was a non-smoking room. The more recently added rooms at the back of the guest house are nicer than the ones at the front in the older part of the house. Tiny room, beds not very comfortable- I could feel the springs in mine. Bathroom was decent but there was mold around the window. The entire building smelt of stale grease. Close to the Abby but otherwise in bleak area of town. A reasonable priced B&B , 3 stars maybe , 4 stars NO , it is situated not too far from the Town centre , the 'hotel is a bit dated and needs a bit of a make over, we thought the two chairs outside of the room we used were too near as we had to close the windows on a hot day because smokers were sat a foot away from the window , one breakfast we felt' […] was definately precooked and kept in the oven for a while. There are a couple of pubs quite near to dine and have good selection of food and beers. We would use again it is convenient for the town .. Lesa meira

Very welcoming. Rooms were clean with tea and coffee facilities. Only slight niggle was the shower ...could have had better water pressure! Would stay there again if in Shrewsbury.

The Hotel was easy to find and was in a good location. We went for a pub crawl in the town and found it to be ideal in that it was only a 15 min walk to the town. The breakfast was great. This B&B comes recommended. The staff are friendly and made us feel very welcome, and the breakfast really hit the spot. The only area they could improve would be to 'tweak' some of the fixtures and fittings in the new section, and ensure the mattresses are top notch. シュルーズベリーの宿泊場所は街の中心に少ない上、中心部には起伏が多いので、自ずとバスを使う所が多くなります。ここは(駅方面の)バス停が目の前なので比較的便利と言えますが、終バス(平日21時頃)後などはそれなりに歩くことになり、荷物が多いと坂を登って降りるのが苦痛です。表通りに面してバイパスにも近いのででやや騒音もありますが、宿泊費から見ると部屋は快適で手頃だと思います。
