The location of this hotel is really its only selling point. The staff were not exactly helpful and the service wasn't amazing. The room looked clean, but quite old fashioned. There was easy walking access to taxis, fast food, and grocery shops on the strip the hotel was on. It is near to the Shangri-La and Crowne Plaza, as well as a number of other […] hotels. Taxis were readily available and there was a metro stop pretty much right outside the hotel. Overall, if price and location are more important than amenities this hotel fits the bill. Lesa meira
very convienient location next to metro and ethiad office. we were able to check in for our flight from abu dhabi there. our room was like a mini apartment. kitchenette was basic but sufficient for fixing snacks. everything was clean. swimmingpool was small but water was really warm staff pleasant and helpful

The location on the hotel is very good less than 3 min to the metro and less than 10 min to Dubai mall. The hotel is clean and nearby few good restaurants. For small budget, is very good
"Number 1 towers review"
The only problem we had with the hotel was the condition of the room. The standard of the room was poor with things like a cracked toilet seat, generally old and scratchy towels, the bath was a bit stained and scuffed and the quality of the food in the room service was terrible! The plus side was it was cheap so I guess you cant expect too much, the […] bed was comfy. I wouldnt recommend it to friends unless they were backpackers and didnt mind basic standards. It is a Hotel to sleep in and not break the bank, not necessarily enjoy yourself. Lesa meira
"Number One Tower in Dubai - pleasant & comfortable"
I stayed for 2 nights in October 2011. The hotel's staff were not friendly and forthcoming in sharing information, in terms of local attractions and amenities. The location of the hotel is convenient and the metro is situated nearby. It would have been helpful of the hotel staff to inform its customers of such amenities rather than having to explore […] the neighbourhood on my own. Such information could have been easily furnished to its customers upon check in. The temperature of the room appears to be fixed at a maximum of 23 degrees celcius, which is somewhat cold for me as I come from a tropical climate. The internet speed in the hotel is VERY slow and not at all high speed. Despite the above, the stay in the deluxe studio suite was pleasant and comfortable. Lesa meira

This is not a hotel for a family, the service was not good at all!!!!! The sheets were dirty and so was most of the room. I would not recommend this to any family.

Location is perfect it is close to both of new and old city Dubai.
"My Impression"
This is the second time I stay there. However, I usually stay for short periods only. The location of the hotel is great. It is on Sh.Zayed Road, and very close to one of the new metro stations and pedestrian bridges. You may take the bridge and cross to the other side and walk to Dubai Mall which is a litttle bit far if you dont like walking.
