Excellent customer service. Staff fulfilled special request with gracious and courteous manner. Security was very good. Housekeeping staff was very gracious and kind. Although, some things were unsatisfactory, I.e. pink fungal growth on bottom of shower curtain, poor quality of personal care items (especially the toilet tissue) small number of bathroom […] kinsman provided, lack of counter space in bathroom and size of bathroom itself. "Clean , close to good eats and great price"
Dont be a snob..its not the Hilton !..it was a nice clean quiet room with enough ammenities to be just fine for a short stay..A bargain for the price..if you need an overnite stay this is a great choice..I would stay there again in a minute !
"Americas Best Value Inn, not bad"
This hotel wasn't bad for a nights stay. I was on the road for business and needed an inexpensive place for the night. First the bad news: The guy running the front desk probably shouldn't be in a guest service position. I felt like I was interrupting his TV program he was watching online. The other bit of bad news is the breakfast is a joke. Chocolate […] chip cookies, pound cake, coffee and waffles. That was pretty much it. Bleh. Onto the good news. The rooms are quite nice for the price and ours was overlooking the lake. The beds were very comfy and room was clean. Lots of channels to watch on TV and the internet connection was pretty good too. Basically if you're looking for an inexpensive place for the night this would be a nice place. It's just off the highway and not too far from places to dine. Lesa meira

Many problems with mantainence noted. Carpet was badly stained all over. Missing wall plug plate. Missing bathroom fan. TV malfunctioning since volume contrl wouldd go up immediately upon attempt to turn it down, Would not shut off as it would turn back on a few seconds later. Front door was a bad fit so it hit the jamb and was hard to close. Worstly […] the internet was completely off for the whole hotel, In their defense I was offered a partial refund and told some of the problems were fixed after I left. Not the carpet or door though and TV problem was not showing during check. Also the internet was said to be a comcast issue. Lesa meira

"America's Best Value Inn - Centralia/Chehalis"
The room cost was low but I was pleasantly surprised by this motel. It was clean and quiet. We had one issue with the room that they came and took care of promptly. The best part was the view of the lake.
Nice hotel for the price. Gentleman at the front desk was very helpful at check in.

While the fellow who checked us in could hardly be called a member of the hospitality profession, the great blue heron on the lake made up for it.

You can find the same price advertised at several hotels a couple exits North - with more restaurants around as well. Nice little lake, very easy access from the freeway but occasional freeway noise. Skipped the continental breakfast after reading other reviews, but there is a Subway just across the street. Sink water (probably the water trap) smelled […] like decaying broccoli, shower water was more like a drip bath. Bed was not too hard, reserved Queen but got King. Cable TV with OnDemand was good entertainment. Could hear talking in the next room. Overall not too bad, might try a different hotel next time. Lesa meira
"Convenient one night stop"
All the rooms share a lovely view of the lake with viewing balcony, unfortunately the Interstate 5 is very close but once some trees have been planted to provide privacy and noise reduction the hotel could be quite pleasant.
When you book here remember the price . We had nosmoking ground floor king size back door open to the lake very nice cute little place to eat close to freeway not close to any shopping or eating that I saw if I ever had to stay in that area I stay there again

just far enough from freeway to avoid too much road noise and the view was great!
Pros: Owners/staff were friendly enough. Room was a nice size with couch and ottoman. Price - cheap Cons: ."continental breakfast" must have been on another continent, because all i got was a lousy waffle and some awful muffins. Sheets were thread bare and smelled of smoke (in fact whole room smelled of smoke) - but housekeeping did change the bedding […] as i requested. A bucket of dirty water was dumped in my tub the day before i left and not rinsed out - given that the tub did not drain well and water pressure was very weak, i could not shower my last morning. "Good Value"
This hotel is what it is. A simple clean affordable hotel. I stayed here for 1 night on a business trip. Just needed a cheap and clean bed right off the freeway. It is right off I-5. Quick easy access on and off. Would stay here again. But don't expect the Hilton.
"America's Best Value - Clean cheap rooms...."
The title says it all. The room was clean, well outfitted, well maintained and a local bargain. As others have mentioned, the owner/operators are a bit of an adventure, but 2 minutes with them vs 12 hours in the room. No big deal. Will stay again.
"EXPANDED continental breakfast!?!?!?!?!????"
The title tells what irked me the most. But let me tell you... I asked for some extra towels and pillows and was looked at like I was a leper. My Dad was in a room with my nephew and he had handed their wet towels to the maid and didn't wait to get any back, that I blame on my nephew... but my Dad got the same treatment when asking for more towels... […] These dirty looks didn't come from the maids, who were pleasant and helpful even if they didn't speak English, I can live with that. These looks and bad attitude came from one of the family members who owned the place, a rather unpleasant family who acted like any request for more than what we had was a personal imposition. Let's see... what else.... while my wife and I were making the bed the next morning I found dried blood on the sheet on my side of the bed. I had no cuts or other wounds. The sink clogged and then the guy made a mess which wouldn't have been cleaned if I hadn't asked. The air conditioner was only barely able to keep the room cool, the TV volume only went up halfway, the laundry room was filthy beyond belief, oh my heck, the water pressure was about like stepping out into an Oregon mist, sure you get wet but......okay so now we come to the "breakfast". I called in advance because with the number of people we had, a continental breakfast would've been a money saver and so I called to make sure this place had one... we got to the room and found a brochure for the place that advertised a NEWLY EXPANDED continental breakfast. My Dad was there a day earlier than I and he said it was pathetic so I went and took a preliminary look the evening I got there to confirm the broken waffle iron. I noticed that not only was one of two waffle irons broken but the other wasn't cleaned. Well, I went back in the morning to confirm my Dad's report and I found; the iron still wasn't cleaned, 4 store bought cookies and 2 banana muffins and coffee...
