Used this hotel for a weekend visit to Rome, hotel is great and very close to the train station which makes it easy to get to and from the airport. The location of the hotel is away from the attractions and requires a walk or use of the underground to get to the areas you want to visit but this also means the restaurants around the hotel are a lot cheaper […] than in the centre of Rome. The hotel itself is very nice with friendly staff and the rooms are clean and comfortable. Good breakfast selection to start the day and a nice bar for an aperitif or two. Lesa meira

Very good hotel. Great restaurants nearby and close to train station. 20min walk to the coliseum. Bathroom had a bidet as well, which was cool! Need to pay if want wireless access so that's the only nit but seems lost hotels in Rome,maybe other places in Europe do that.

I will definitely share with my friends. It will be even better to have kettles in the rooms for guests to make themselves a cup of tea in the privacy in their rooms.

Hotel is very close to termini which was really handy for transport to and from the airport. We arrived at the hotel before check-in began but the hotel let us leave our bags free of charge so we could begin our sightseeing free from our luggage. Most sights are within walking distance. The food was good and reasonable priced however the restaurant lacked atmosphere. Rooms are of a good standard and the bathroom was particularly nice - Great shower! Unlikely I would stay here again as the restaurants and bars immediately surrounding the hotel were disappointing. I personally would stay closer to the Trevi Fountain if visiting Rome again. Easy 3 minute walk with heavy cases from train station was reason for picking hotel to have a 3-4 star hotel on last night in Italy after 2 weeks travel around Italy. The UNA Hotel Roma is only one block from the Metro, train station and bus station. The staff was friendly and helpful. WiFi was very reasonably priced and the breakfast was more than adquate. This place is the best choice if you need to be near Termini station. The staff is helpful and attentive, the breakfast good enough and the rooms very modern and way to big for European standards. Overall the place is for travelers that prefer the mood of modernity and new instead of antique or "luxury" hotels. Hotel is quite modern compared to others in Rome, but by no means the 4 stars it claims to be. Staff are quite unhelpful and could do with some focussed customer service training, breakfast spread was terrible (some of the food had turned- stay away from the fresh fruit and yoghurt) and they try to charge extra for things which are offered for free […] in other hotels, eg: ice and boiling water. (They don't have kettles apparently!). The area where the hotel is located is also a bit sketchy- so would avoid walking around late at night if at all possible. Lesa meira

Great hotel. Everything was 5 star apart from the heat in the rooms! They were too hot & e When we asked how to work to air conditioning we were told that this was switched off in the winter & we should open the window to cool the room down! the hotel is less than a block from the main train station so very convenient for traveling on eurorail to other parts of Italy. Thls was the most beautiful hotel I've ever stayed at. If you like gorgeous woods, marble, and elegant Italian design, you'll love this hotel. The staff were very helpful. The breakfast buffet was well prepared and nicely displayed. Very close to to Termini station. Lovely decor, very modern and clean, beautiful bathroom! I booked the superior room and was worth the few extra pounds. There was a good selection of breakfast food. Hotel was good, but purchases from mini-bar were excessively high. A can of soda was listed as 4.50 euros, which we thought was very expensive, but we were very thirsty so drank a can. !hen we went to check out, we learned at that "with taxes" the cost was really 10.50 euros, Just for one small can of soda. I stayed in this hotel last weekend for 3 nights with a friend. We booked a superior room because it was supposed to be a bit more of a treat. Shouldn't have bothered. I'm not even sure it was a superior room. If it was, I'd like to know what bit of it was superior! The room was really small and just lacked so many things that might have made it so […] much better. No mirror in the bedroom, but 4 in the bathroom! There was no coffee machine in the room. The safe kept locking and not opening. The pillows were flat. The temperature control didn't work and the room was really cold. The tv remote worked one minute and not the next. Breakfast was good with plenty of variety. Staff on the front desk were either really friendly or downright rude. Location wise it was ok. The area was a little seedy as near the main station but I guess every big city has that sort of problem. If I ever go back to Rome I would not stay in this hotel. Lesa meira

Very comfortable hotel. Rooms are well appointed width very comfortable beds and a choice of pillows. The bathrooms are also well equipped with good pressure in the shower. Breakfasts have a good selection of hot and cold offerings which sets you up nicely for the day. I look forward to returning to this hotel.

Booked this hotel for a weekend break in Rome with a friend. Great location right by the central train station and in walking distance of a lot of the big Piazza's and Basilica's. Plus many of the tour buses stop close by. Also many great places to eat all around the area. The hotel is imaculately clean and in good repair. Our room (421) fell almost […] 'new'. The bathroom was great - lovely big sink and mirror, rain-head shower and a lovely bath. The beds were firm but comfortable. Wooden floors with free slippers! The only downside as English visitors was there was only one English speaking tv channel (CNN news) - but we are in an italian hotel so ...... There was a tram line outside our window which concerned us but by the time we went to bed the trams had stopped and even when they were running it wasn't that loud. We heard no other guests around our room at night. The free breakfast was really nice - cereals, fruits, breads, meats, cheeses, etc. We filled up nicely each morning before venturing out in to the city. The bar was slightly overpriced so we didn't bother drinking there. I would recommend the hotel to anyone visiting Rome. Lesa meira

Great hotel, great location, extortionate drinks prices. Five Euros for a can of fizzy orange that you could buy for sixty seven cents in the supermarket in the Termini 100 yards away.

The staff were all extrememly helpful & courteous & everyone spoke english. We stayed as a family in two seperate rooms. They gave us two rooms with an interconnecting door which was absolutely ideal. The breakfasts were really superb, buffet style with lots of choice & allowed us to fill up completely fro the day ahead. We were leaving early in the […] morning before breakfast & the hotel arranged a breakfast bag for us all which we collected at reception when we left, at no extra cost. Location of the hotel was ideal, right next to the railway & bus terminal & the main sights were only a 10/15 minute walk away. We were all very impressed and would definitely stay there again when we return. My only slight criticism was that there were no tea/coffee making facilities in the room.
