Creepy hotel in a creepy neighborhood. When I opened the shower curtain I discovered it contained wet towels and other stuff from the previous tenant's shower. "Don't expect much"
I wasn't expecting much for the price. I was just looking for an inexpensive place to crash for the night. The rooms were not very clean and the bed was uncomfortable. The walls were paper thin, you can hear everything that goes on in the next room. Another reviewer mentioned that they heard people in the parking lot all night, well, they were not exaggerating. […] It sounded like people were running up and down the hallway all night and they were shouting to their friends. The only positive that this hotel had was the location to the highway. the non smoke room smelled cigarret, the staf told me they could take care of it and never did. At the time to check in our room wasn't ready for us yet. I thought that this was one of the nicest surprises I have had in a while. The room was certainly cleaner than many higher priced hotels I've stayed in, & I loved the heart shaped tub. We went to this Hotel as an alternative to a Marriott in downtown Stamford to save $$$. Did save $$$ but not really worth it. "Loud Parties in the Parking Lot!"
Room was fine, although TV remote control did not work and the blankets on the bed weren't especially comfortable. The downside was the noise all night. The other reviews talking about parties in the parking lot should be taken seriously.
