The surrounding area is beautiful! We enjoyed the relaxed environment during the off season. The spa and the food were both great!

We came here to attend a wedding reception at the Mt. Washington Resort. I can see why this would be a nice alternative to staying at the Mt. Washington Resort main hotel. While that place is quite nice, the pace and atmosphere here seems more relaxed and cozy. The rooms were beautiful and very well appointed. The staff was pleasant, and access to the […] main hotel was easy, since the shuttle service runs constantly. (We could have walked the short distance to the hotel, but it was a little cold). The dining room served us what I would consider one of the best breakfasts I've ever had in a hotel setting, or, come to think of it, anywhere. The hotel and inn was absolutely beautiful with lots of amenities. They had just renovated and it was just lovely. The front desk staff was very nice and personalized the experience by offering the Adventure backpack to my 4 yr old son. I was less impressed with the f&b and engineering staff. Not a lot of eye contact or smiles from 50% of the staff. […] I work in hotels so I know what they should be doing at this type of a hotel. I was also locked in the bathroom due to the lock getting stuck. The Engineer who came to get me out was nice, but never did the hotel do any follow up with me to apologize or write a personal note. I was staying at a great rate so I wasn't looking for anything for free, but it would have been nice for them to acknowledge the inconvenience and write a personal note. Lesa meira

Loved the family suite, very comfortable, staff is great, decor is lovely, bed very comfy and having access to the amenities of the Mt. Washington (ie: pool which was really nice) is great. Shuttle to the Mt. Washington hotel is quick and we had a nice dinner @ Stickneys. Love the hot apple cider in the lobby when we arrived!

We stayed at the Omni Bretton Arms, a bed and breakfast on the resort site. We were allowed to use the ammenities at all 3 Omni locations. The grounds were beautiful, decorated w/ thousands of mums, pumpkins and fall decorations. The views were absolutely breathtaking and the decor within the building classic yet comfortable. The stay started out poorly, we were supposed to be able to check in at 3:00 but the room was not ready until 5:00. The hotel was very nice and we very much enjoyed our stay after we were finally allowed in our room.

Excellent breakfast, superior to breakfast at Mount Washington Resort Hotel, very friendly staff. The resort Hotel which we could access via a beautiful footpath through the forest had very good leisure facilities in the resort with shuttle bus service, including easy access to a zip wire 'canopy walk'. Outdoor and indoor pools were good but too crowded […] during our stay and there is only one shower in the changing room and no 'spinner' for the wet bathing suits. In summary excellent stay. The room was quiet, clean and comfortable. The grounds are beautiful, Not so great was walking up the hill all day long to the main hotel, but in fairness it was much cheaper. Very corteous staff. There is no microwave & fridge like in the main building though. It was the trip of a lifetime to hike White Mountain National forest !

I wanted to treat my wife to a great weekend for her 50th birthday. That's why I chose a place like the Bretton Arms. We paid to dollar for our 2 day stay. We were both disappointed with our room. The carpeting in the room was so dirty/stained we didn't want to take off our shoes. Although the staff took care of us very well. If you plan to ski Bretton Woods (we did MLK weekend) and like some creature comforts without a high price tag I definately recommend the Omni Bretton Woods since you get to use all of the Mt Washington hotel's facilities, including the unbelievable breakfast buffet that was included in our package. They have a shuttle service to cart you back and forth […] between the hotels and ski resort so save your $ to pay for dinner and you'll be just as happy as if you stayed in the more pricey (still worth it though) Mt Washington Hotel. Well we paid lots of bucks per night for a lousy room. Carpeting was old and more stained than not. There was no place to work at a desk in the room and the bath had no place for toiletries. The beds were very soft for those that like that type of mattress but were way too soft. When we inquired about another room the owner advised that this was our […] only choice. On the other hand the food in the restaurant was superb by all means and worth the big bucks there. Service in the restaurant was impecable. Staff was cheerful and talkative and there when needed. We booked a king-size bed, but received a queen. The mattress definitely needs to be replaced. Because it's an old inn, you can hear noise from surrounding rooms and the hallway. If you stay here, please be considerate of others who may be sleeping. Breakfast in the dining room was delicous.

We booked the Bretton Arms Inn, but they moved us to the main resort and it was perfect. Stayed for a couple of days at start of November, so very quiet in the hotel. Pool & gym were almost for our own personal use! Lovely walks in the hills surrounding the hotel. Plenty of restaurants & bars to choose from and they will arrange a ride to the bar down […] the road for you too. All in all, a wonderful stay. Will definitely go back. Lesa meira

With the facilities available at the Mnt Washington resort & the White Mountains on your doorstep the experience is whatever you wish it to be. The Bretton Arms is an exquisite New England […] style Inn, each room with its own character and the breakfast excellent. The staff were also excellent at both the Inn & the hotel. My only complaint was the mattress on the bed which lacked support and was clearly by its sell by date. It is a pricey resort, however we were on our annual holiday & we deserved to spoil ourselves. Fabulous stay at the Omni Bretton Arms. Gorgeous views of the mountains nearby, great location near everything. If you don't want to spend the exxtra money to stay at the Mount Washington hotel this is the next best thing b/c you are right next store and can use all of their faciliites. The hotel had a lot to offer. The room was very clean & well appointed. The restaurant was excellant with excellant service. The outside pool had heated water (which was needed for a location so far North). The location is very close (within a 15 minute drive) from where the Cog railway goes up to the top of Mt Washington, NH Excellant

Less expensive than the Mother Ship and our reservation included breakfast. I was told some do not. The desk staff seemed to be on the B list for the property. Serviceable, but not exceedingly confident. The main hotel provided a very nicely done buffet in the Dining Room and views of the mountains were great. My family and I stayed at the smaller B&B down the hill from the gorgeous Mount Washington hotel. We had all the amenities of the large hotel - we sat on the beautiful veranda looking at gorgeous scenery, we ate at the restaurants, we swam at the two great pools. And yet, it was about 1/2 the price of staying at the big house. We had free breakfasts […] at either the fancy octagonal shaped dining room at the big house or the small dining room at Bretton Arms (both were outstanding). We found both the Bretton Arms and the big Mt Washington hotel to be very family friendly. The only cons to the Bretton Arms was the very soft mattresses and the loud window air conditioner. The Bretton Arms Inn is the old carriage house of the Mt. Washington Hotel and a far neater place to stay at while in the area than the sprawling hotel itself. You get all the amenities without the summertime masses. And the food and wine at the Inn is far better than "up the hill." Just make sure you make dinner reservations when you book the hotel-- […] you won't get them the day you arrive during high season. And that goes for breakfast, too, strangely enough. Breakfast comes with the room, but no one said that reservations needed to be made for breakfast--this was a new one on me. The rooms could use an occasional walk-through by the hierarchy. I had no glasses and both luggae racks were broken along with an inoperable black-out curtain--something critical in the early mornings of summer. But the staff was international and lovely. Omni seems to have some sort of revolving international staff that take them throughout the world in 3-year stints. Lesa meira

I got an excellent deal on this top of the line resort. I found out when I got there why this was possible. The first two weeks or so in June unleashes a plague of gnats of Biblical proportion. Blood was literally running down my child's neck from the bites. Once the blood is cleaned up, the bite leaves a hard, itchy, whelp. SO buyer beware and pack […] some serious bug spray. The service here is AMAZING. My family was given an upgraded to a family suite before we even got there. I enjoyed almost every staff member I spoke to. The rooms are tastefully restored. BUT the queen bed sloped drastically to one side. It became comical it was so ridiculous. Only one person could sleep even relatively comfortably in the bed. The breakfast that was included in our stay was absolutely phenomenal. The quality of food is the best I've even been served at a restaurant, a delight. I enjoyed staying at the Inn. It has the feeling of a large bed and breakfast. I actually preferred it to the main hotel and the it is a quick walk/ shuttle ride to get to all the amenities the hotel has to offer. One last tip, the dress here is NOT slouchy even during the day. Think steeple chase, or the polo scene from the movie Pretty Woman. I would have been more comfortable if I had been a bit more elegantly dressed. Lesa meira

We (Myself, wife, 4 year old son, and two other couples with kids) had a wonderful time at The Omni Bretton Arms Inn- Breakfast, plus full use of the Omni Mt. Washington Hotel's (a short walking path or complimentary shuttle ride away) extensive and well maintained facilities were included. Food, service and so many details were exemplary. The location of the hotel can't be beat- short walk to the main hotel, close to the Nordic center and a short shuttle bus ride to the mountain. However, the resort had a lot of families with kids and they made quite a bit of noise even late at night in the hallways that was easily heard as the rooms are not well insulated from noise. The parents obviously […] did not care as they allowed them to slam doors. The cleanliness of the rooms needed some work as they did not seem to be well vaccumed and there items under the furniture, the bathroom moldings were not dusted and the windowsill had a dead fly on it that remained there our entire stay. Although we enjoy the atmosphere of the inn with the quiet lounge area with fireplace we felt a bit disappointed. For the amount of money you spend for luxury accommodations it is the little things that make all the difference and they seemed to be a bit lacking. I had to request that the bathroom shower handle be fixed and the room be vaccumed. In addition the matresses were way too soft. Although they are brand new it would be very insightful if the management realized that not everyone likes super soft matresses and offer options of more firmer beds. Lesa meira

We booked a suite and 2 sleep areas separated by an elevator shaft with no privacy doors. The room wasn't clean. My kids found a pretzel stick and a bobby pin on the floor in the living room and a used bar of soap with a hair on it on the bathroom floor. The queen beds were uncomfortable, so much that my husband slept on the pull out couch! We stayed […] here hoping to go snow tubing as well as ice skating and both weren't open. Lesa meira

Great location. Restored inn so the windows were very small and we were in a loft room with a sloping ceiling which is the character of the Inn. The room and bathroom was however very large and comfortable. My husband would have prefered to stay at the larger Mount Washington hotel but I prefered the smaller inn. Concierge service was lacking and we went to the main hotel to get maps, advice etc, which was not really a big inconvenience. Overall we had a fantastic experience and I am very pleased that we chose to stay for 3 nights at Bretton Woods which is very centrally located for exporing the entire Mount Washington region which is very beautiful. Was hit with extra charges - resort fees etc. when checking out!! The place was beautiful, but some of the staff were VERY RUDE - not necessary. A/C did not work well in our room. We were very uncomfortable sleeping. Was told by maid that our room was the only room that had a bad A/c. She took the cover off, it was packed with ice. Would probably not […] go back because of these 3 items. Also at the stables, they charged us (7people) for a private session as they said that we would do more and go a bit faster- NOT TRUE, we went at a snail's pace and kept being yelled at by the lead person for things that she should have explained better in the first place - also, no need to be rude - right? Hotel was maintained clean and comfortable. the service was good. We had " a little excitement" when we tried to take a shower at night after a very hot and humid day----the faucet came out from the shower, we had to change to another room. It was very inconvenient.

Omni Bretton Arms INN was an older bed and breakfast hotel but very nice and very clean. It was just doen the road from the Mt Wahington Hotel and in the white mountains. Wonderfull view and the staff was very attentive. The hotel is fine. Nothing fancy. Kind of old fashioned - old tub/shower, key to door, not key card. No fridge or other amenities. Internet didnt work. Breakfast was very good though. Overall, kind of pricey and beware the $20 resort fee.

This was a great place. Quiet, beautifully maintained. It's like staying in a small country inn, yet walking distance to the Mt. Washington Resort, and all its ammenities. Service was excellent. I was attending a conference at the Mt. Washington, but will definitely be back with my wife, next time.

Schöner Aufenthalt in dem "Historic Inn" in 5-Min zu Fuß vom Hotel Mt. Washington Ressort in einer sehr schönen Landschaft. Es gibt aber auch einen flotten Shuttle Dienst. Die Zimmer sind schön plüschig-amerikanisch, relativ groß und top sauber. Leider aber auch sehr (!) hellhörig, bis zu den ständig laufenden Küchengeräten. Golf und Spa etc. kann man […] im oder über das Hotel nutzen - alles kostet selbst für amerikanische Verhältnisse ein ordentliches Extra. Super imponerende sted. Rigtig god morgenmad. Noget af personalet var ikke særlig kompetent, minsandten var både kompetente og meget servicemindede. Største mangel er, at der hverken er kaffe på værelset eller til at få kaffe i bygningen efter morgenmad er pakket væk.
